@@elisaa9981 I suppose she'd be better off running around outside unattended? And as shown by the video, Daphne was MISERABLE at home with her Grandmother. And she's getting out of the dorm room plenty. Plenty of Japanese cats live in apartments like this their whole lives. There are plenty of ways to provide enrichment for cats who reside in small apartments. My 2 cats do NOT go outside unless they're wearing a harness and a leash. The exact same situation as with Daphne here. Nothing wrong with Daphnes living situation. It's not permanent.
Cats caught by surprise mid-crime are hilarious! Should I hold perfectly still, and hope the human hasn't seen me? Or should I start running now to avoid the water bottle? Can I escape while still carrying my plunder?
When I met my future husband, early on I told him he'd have to pass the Vorpal Kitty test. He asked what that was and I told him, "The only guy I ever went out with that hit me, she hated." Luckily, she purred immediately upon meeting him so I knew he was a good egg. Daphne knows your b/f is, too! Cats can tell!
You reminded me. When my now husband and I were in a long distance relationship, we'd call every night. Sometimes I'd hear him pet his (now our) cat, cooing all kinds of mushy words to her.
@@danielbuongiorno7093 Why would you think DV is an opening line? You think beating women is funny? Run for the hills when you were never in the running to begin with. You're why women choose the bear.
As the saying goes, "You can't fool animals and little children." Little children (before they get old enough to learn to distrust their feelings like, under five years) are also great barometers of people's authenticity. They, like animals, sense when someone is not a good person. As we get older, we're taught not to trust our own instincts, but to believe what we are TOLD to believe. Animals, thank goodness, rely on their instincts, not their stupid owner.
This lady literally prolonged this cats life by many years. If she left her at home this cat would haven’t lived as long being sad missing her mama. Love this channel, always positive videos ❤
My girlfriend used to come over just to pet my cats. Nothing against that, it was fun to just chill for an hour with my cats. I was happy to see them get along so well
I think it's awesome you were allowed to bring her cat to live with her in the dorms! They both are so happy to have one another & of course you have to share everything with gorgeous darling Daphne including your boyfriend! What's yours is hers 🙂
She's absolutely beautiful. Love her. So great that not only your school allows pets. But also you have a good hearted boyfriend, who also loves her too. That's a real gentleman. 💯
A girl who lived on my floor freshman year had two Pekin ducks that lived in her room and she'd leave her door open and they'd always be up and down the hall. Definitely wasn't allowed, but the RA partied more than anyone else on the floor and didn't seem to care about anything haha.
Cats are great at reducing stress. I can swear to this. I have an anxiety disorder due to past trauma and once I got a cat again, my panic attacks were almost non-existent and so many other things. Having an animal to care for and love on is wonderful for mental health, no matter what you're doing in life.
Thats the best stress relief there is! And how awesome to spread that joy around, Im sure Daphne brings little bit of comfort to those who’s animals are at home. What a cutie!
My daughter went to school for 10 years for her PhD in aerospace. I was so glad Tiger was able to live with her the last 6 years of school as she was the best roommate and companion ever! 😻
Who wouldn't want a ROOMIE!! Like Daphne!! Just ONE COOL CAT!! I certainly would study a lot better and get better grades with her at my side!! Great Stuff!!❤
Yo the title is almost exactly the same word for word of my favorite cozy anime, "My Roommate is a Cat". Pretty sure it still only has 1 season, but it's one of the dang cutest things you'll ever see if you're a cat lover. I highly recommend!
So happy for you that you're able to bring a small but EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT part of your family to school with you . Daphne is such a BEAUTIFUL GIRL !!! ❤🐱❤🐾❤
This video was special for me because Daphne is one of my favorite names! It really suits her. She's a beauty and she has such a cute personality. Having her with you was such a good idea as she was so upset when you went away to school. All she knew was that you were gone and she was heartbroken you were gone. You have done a great job of socializing her and now she makes friends with so many people who are nice to her. You'll have to get her a little cap when you graduate! Best wishes and good luck!
I was separated from my dog for 6 months and he has to live with my folks until I got back and they didn't wash some of my t-shirts because he'd lay on them or go into the garage to lay on the couch I had at my place because my scent was on them. It broke my heart.
Wonderful. Daphne gives you love , you and your boyfriend give her love. Perfect. Super sweet girl loved by everyone. Great for morale and an adorable stress reliever. Glad you are all together.
I found my cat in a bush during my sophomore year of college. She lived with me in the dorm for a semester, and my parents watched her for a few months after. Every time I cane home she would miss me, making me know I had to take her with me when I moved. Been almost 2 years now, and she has a pittie little brother now! ❤
Assim como nos EUA, aqui no Brasil também vamos estudar longe (em muitos casos) e poder levar nosso pet realmente ameniza a sensação de saudades do nosso lar. Eles são maravilhosos!!
We couldn't have pets in our dorm 20+ yrs ago but one of my roommates had a ferret that she hid during room checks in her closet lol. So glad this kitty was able to be w/her human !
I think it's great that she is with you in college. It means so much to her that she can be with you. She's not sad or depressed anymore, which is great, cause she can be with her hoomom. I think she might have a crush on your boyfriend though. LOL. Still it's great that she is making college life much better for you and your boyfriend.
Sounds like having Daphne around is beneficial for EVERYONE ❤
♥
Except for Daphne. Living 24 hours a day in a college dorm is no life for a cat.

Smart decision to bring Daphne to college. Everyone deserves higher education to climb the ladder of success.
Such a wise words.
Did you mean to say that when there’s a clip of the cat literally climbing a ladder to success?

I'm glad the school allowed it.
I think it's great that she provides the other dorm residents with some kitty therapy. That can work wonders.
Best roommate ever
You got that right
Agree, I wouldn’t want a roommate unless they were a cat or a dog

As a Cat person I have no doubt that Phoebe's bf is definitely visiting her for Daphne. I would do the same.

Aww🐈If I had a cat roommate in college, my college life would have been spiritually richer😭
They truly heal your soul 😢
I think I would have done better, too. Caring for an animal helps to keep us sane.
You are a gentle soul.
it's okay.
I can relate.
Because I can only talk to my cats through video calls when I was working abroad 6 years ago.
Keep that guy in your life.
Daphne? Is that you? 😊

We have 3 legged cat with back leg missing and he climbs up my daughter's bunk bed. Cats are full of surprises ❤
I love that you were allowed to have your baby in your dorm room.👏🏽 She’s beautiful.
I'm surprised the dorm allowed her to keep her kitty! That's so cute and makes me so happy ♥and I love how everyone loves Daphne lol.
My son is going to college in the fall. The school allows emotional support pets. I just worry about keeping a cat in such a small space.

That is so sweet and Daphne is such a beautiful girl!
