As a now 41 yr old man i so wish i could go back in time and live 3 days over a weekend in the nineties just to hear this song as i heard it for the first time - in my mates house on his £200 AWIA stereo on full blast with the bass boost up full rocking it while his mum was out at the bingo haha ! Seriously guys , where does time go man ?
I'm also 41 so I am with you!! Best years of my life dancing all night just happy smiling all night surrounded by other people who were exactly the same!! Just makes u happy the second it comes on
i'm only 15 and i wish i could have went to a Rave event like Fantazia and danced like a raver rave, trance, early nightcore ,hardcore will never die! :D
I think this track really captures the feel of the era and one that will never be recreated. Everything just came together on the scene for those few years and it was all about raving until 8am. Good people, good fun and good times. If i close my eyes i am still giving it all on the floor tripping out with my brightly coloured animal friends (I don't care if nobody else could see them they were freakin there XD)
MXMoondoggie that was so spot on pure mad wae it for days on end bouncing tae bonkers if it wasn't for this music half of us would have quit after the 1st night brings back so much memories 👍
Unfortunately, I weren't born until the end of 87. My dream is to go back to the 90's though and see the ones a generation older than me raving with their white gloves and glow sticks up the farm road slamming out the tunes out of their classic sports cars of that era, not giving a fuck raving and dropping a few of them happy ones. A lot of respect to those who raved away... I didn't start until 2004, it was good but not as good as the helter skelter raves I watched on dvd from the 90's. Ecstasy was pure, phet was bangin'... You lucky bunch of Kent's all I can say 😂😂
You are spot on they where good times I wish I could go back just one more time never seen the animals but done my fair share of dropping rushed my face off with no worries living off the vibes 😁
This has to be one of my favourite happy hardcore songs!! Takes me back to 18 dancing all night at raves, surrounded by happy people no trouble no fights just pure happy hot sweaty smoky raves!! Magic.
I WAS ONLY A KID WHEN THIS CAME OUT....THE MEMORY'S OF MY PARENTS, AUNTYS & UNCLES BLARING HAPPY HARDCORE TILL THE MORNING AND A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE HAPPY RAVING!! GOOD TIMES!
@Lucie Johnson, I was unfortunately 5 when this was released as I was born on 8/26/2002, I wish I would've heard about Happy Hardcore sooner, it sounded like everybody had a very fun time having all kinds of good ass rave parties all across Western Europe. It also didn't help that I was born in North Dakota which is one of the 50 U.S. States in America. I heard my very first Happy Hardcore song which was in a flash game known as Super Drift 3D and the song was called Sugar & Spice which I think was by DJ Hixxy & DJ Dougal and I fell in love with that song, Happy Hardcore does indeed sound happy. Idk if it's just me, but if I were to play some music while driving, be it IRL or in a video game, I'd put Happy Hardcore on and have it on full blast, it sounds to me like some awesome music to put on while driving, be it IRL or in a video game like GTA San Andreas, Garry's Mod, GTA V, or any part of a video game where I have to drive, I'd DEFINITELY blast Happy Hardcore at full volume while doing a driving mission. Sucks to be me, all these memories I see in the comments of people from Western European countries like the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and a few others having a good ol' time in the 90's dancing to this awesome music while we Americans had our what we called "Cool Kid Music" which was rap and missing out on this awesome music makes me feel sad and nostalgic at the same time. But don't worry, I won't let this genre die out. I as am American will keep on listening to this to keep it alive. ^-^
Dropped my first pill to this track, blew my head right off hahaha. Never forget the memories off being young and free, no missus, no kids, words can't describe the past listening to this track again. I loved every minute. Always a raver in my ❤️
@@barryhawley2460 of course i love it also absolutely hate the current state of the music industry, all the good genres are either dead, split, underground or became trash
Listening to happy hardcore on Key 103 with Stu Allen, and making your own mix tapes is golden memories. No new tunes, but Large tunes 👌 Great times, great memories just been unlocked listening to this 😊 #Happy days
This instantly makes my inner child rise up from its sleep and laugh and rave like it used to back in the day, and it hurts my soul, but in a good way :'))
Remember Back in Good times 96 or 97 Dance Planet At Cornwall with the Best DJ HIXXY on Main Stage !! (HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE !!!)( HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE !!!!!)
As a music producer at the age of 15 currently, I will try my damdest to bring this genre of music back to popularity. I feel connected to music before my time.
takes me back this was at school for me before I even went to my first raves in like 1997 ..I remember these tunes being in heavy rotation recorded off my mate then lent out to another mate Everyone had a Walkman exchanging tapes and sets left right and centre
This is one of those tunes that takes you back to a time and place and instantly puts a huge smile on your face. That's the thing with happy hardcore, it took any tune and made into the best song you'd ever heard, songs from people like the beegees that would have never listen to become classics that you can't stop playing and would never listened to if it hadn't of been speeded up Love it and miss it as they don't make em like this anymore
Got 2 say again..!!! Why has all the BEST HAPPY HARD CORE.. Been 4got'en about.. Youngsters these day's just haven't got a qlue what proper music is.. It get's me going every time I play it & it is boasting & I am raving like an 18year old but really I am 39 on the first of January this year omg.. Anyway keep the pukka tune's coming in..!!! HAPPY HSRD CORE Xx & AV A MERRY XMAS GUY'S Xxx xx
Memories of living in Bournemouth going Opera House in Boscombe hearing this whilst on love pills feeling every beat. Still get chills now❄️ Nicky Blackmarket in smaller room & other Happy Hardcore some cheesy hardcore, loving everyone with a bit of drumb & base & hardcore to get u goin, wish I could return to the 90s xx
@Storming Norman take it that it's not there anymore? I moved from Birmingham to Poole, then Bournemouth, brought a tent ⛺ buried the deckchairs to use later when we lived under the pier,at loads of people oh the stories I could tell 😜 then moved to Boscombe in a shitty bedsit opposite Cherries Ground but again met loads of people from all over. Did I ever go to Wax on a Sunday where the floor was sticky & sweat dripped from the ceiling & I think it was local radio station Energy or NRG that used to host that night? It was brilliant as I was loved up from Thursday - Monday shit of a come down Tues We'd so we slept then start again! Xx
Cool to see the nostalgia in these comments about raves that happened long before my time, but even tho this kind of music is new to me it still sounds great on fresh ears, they really nailed it with happy hardcore.
Helter skelter. Slamin vinyl they were all good then I moved on to hysteria jungle and dreamscape then went on to garage nation and stayed with garage pretty much to today but I was listening to this when I was ten and I'm now 34. No matter what mood I am in THIS track makes me soooo fuckin happy, and takes me back to being 16 again - 16 years ago, the happy days of spinning around with lads in sierra Cossies, purple Astra GTE'S, Nova GSI's, sooped-up Cavaliers, old Capri's u name it!!! and ALWAYS, there was a few MASSIVE plastic cases with psychadelic covers containing 8 - 10 cassette tapes from HELTER SKELTER, CLUB KINETIC....OMG i miss those days!!!! Thumbs up if this song brings you nostalgia like mine :)

Lost out on most of this cause of a boring boyfriend. Then got with someone who got me back into it. We are no longer together but i thank him for reminding me of good and happy times. Love this tune thanks Ian Ellis xxxxx
