I have to ask… in the USA 🇺🇸 we can not build from scratch or rebuild anything without a local inspector to come after each thing to make sure it’s done accurately according to the local laws and regulations Do you have any of this type of regulations and or inspections? We can’t even put up a shed or a yurt 🛖 without an inspection or permits
Most often inspectors refuse to be on camera. There are way too many people and trolls out there who could falsely claim that the inspectors did not do their jobs correctly. Accusations from individuals who have no knowledge of construction or the local laws will cause undue hardships for builder and the public employee. There is also an issue here in Europe that prohibits the filming of individuals and posting it on public platforms and stating untrue facts, you could wind up with a defamation of character lawsuit on your hands REAL FAST!

Great video. The precision fitting of the floor joists. I was thinking BUZZ LIGHTYEAR as the joists was going up on the hoist… “to infinity and beyond!” I guess this holds true for hedges as well as trees… the best time to plant was yesterday and the next best is today. If it isn’t in the ground it will never be a fence/hedge row. Thanks for honoring the memorial and thank you for sharing!

The amount of "Common sense" you guys display is enough to bring peace of mind, that all is not lost in our world where idiots and morons who seem to overpower all else. Thank you for the refreshing and welcome change.
Has anyone thought that Dan may have been crying (tearing up) while placing those flowers? From acquiring them, setting up the shots, and noticeably arranging them just right, to the fact that he is giving his all in bringing Chaumont back to life. I certainly noticed. You have my utmost respect Daniel Preston! ❤
Bless you Dan for keeping the children and their refuge in your heart. It's a beautiful thing.
Dan I hope you are prepared for the big storm that is heading your way…very strong winds..baton down the hatches..
Praying for benevolent calm winds🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. May God bless you all in the path of the storm, stay safe .
I was thinking the same myself. I think there will be 1 less video this week 🤔
What a nice gesture to remember the children, thanks Dan.
My Dutch Wife's Family was nearly wiped out by the Nazis.
Your gesture of condolence and remembrance was heartfelt by those of us whom remain. Blessings on You... and Yours.
Watching Dan, it is so comforting to know that somewhere in the world, something noble is being accomplished.
What a wonderful gesture to remember the children.
Nice job Dan ..not long now ..then the roof yay 🎉 glad to see Nick back doing what he does. Loved watching see yer tomorrow 😀
Dan is a grown man and doesn't need to be lectured by any of us.👍👍❤️
who's lecturing?
I see only good advice. All of his subscribers care about him and the chateau. A lot are much older and have a lot of experience which I'm sure helps Dan and he is free to ignore it if he so chooses.
Thank ❤You Dan for remembering the Children you have a Beautiful Heart ♥️…..Blessings
Oh Dan, flowers at the children’s memorial was so touching & kind…. Yippee, more metal makes for gleeful anticipation!😊. What a great dig, Nick🎉. Re The new beams, maximum finessing - yeah I thought so seeing the C-beam profiles, angles, shmangles…. My sympathy goes out to your poor rusty abused chisels, ouch ouch…😂😂. Liked longer video, thank you, 🎉🎉
I love the shots with Dan 1 and Dan 2 working together!
It's calculated for chuckles, as Dan casually walks into the shot where he's helping himself with his work. And I chuckle, and stop to check how many subscribers Dan has now.
You're doing a fantastic job, Dan. And, I love watching Nick with his digger.
Nick is so great at changing camera angles, it makes for very engaging viewing!
Nick is so knowledgeable in so many things. He's a treasurew.
You are a good person, Dan.
9:38 A boat hook will cost 20 euros and save you from falling down the shaft when trying to retrieve stuff from the winch. We use it on boats to avoid falling into the water, but avoiding falling several meters onto the stone floor....
This is thoughtful advice
Beautiful tribute to Chalmont's previous life.💛🧡💚
I'm waiting to see if he can have a conversation with himself while passing up the beams. That would be funny to see. Your flying it dan
Dan, very bad weather is coming your way on Thursday. "Batten Down the Hatches" all Wednesday afternoon.
Make sure everything is covered and put away on Wednesday night.
Thursday should be a bad day. Be extra cautious.
The beautiful flowers at the children's memorial were very kind. Good to see Nick is back. You two always spark my imagination with how to put in a drain, or how to keep the assembly flying. Way better than a movie!
Nick, if you are reading this, you promised us your own UA-cam channel, you have lots of supporters who would love to see more of you ❤ just as much as we love following Dan !
I would definitely prescribe. Let's not forget viking
