Love the struggle to keep this version under control in her voice. Proves she can sing like an angel and scream like a demon. Didn't know she had this soft a side in her. It was great to listen too.

+Aaron Todd Heard that song a lot of times before, but did not recognize it was Izzy Hale until now. It is a great song, and I have seen the name before, but never made the connection until now. I like Halestorm, and Lindsey Sterling.

true, but it's just not a good thing to sing while your voice and lungs need the rest though. she's hardcore.
Candy Lanes I would not say she sounded 'amazing.'The beginning was pretty painful (probably because that type of intro does not really suit acoustic) and there were a few mistakes here and there but yeah for being sick she still sang reasonably well.

And yeah she still did a good job singing despite being ill especially if she had a sore throat...But as the other commenter said it was probably not a healthy thing to do but she did well nonetheless.

Man. I've seen Halestorm three times, maybe four? Every time I'm in complete awe of Lzzy. Every 👏 single 👏 time 👏. I remember watching them perform "I Bet You Want Me Back" and "Familiar Taste of Poison", just watching them do their thing, shocked that they sound so much better live, and that's a feat, especially considering the vocals and how difficult they are to sing. She's a treasure and I know I'll be rocking out to them when I'm 90, sitting on my porch, and probably pissing myself lol.
I love seeing a female vocalist who has a proper rocky voice, and who's actually able to sing well without all the editing done in the studios :D
She has a very strong voice. I hope that as Halestorm grows she takes care of it. It can take her a long way.

I met these two at my nephews wedding(JJN) a couple years ago, at the time i had no clue who Lizzy Hale,or Halestorm was,WOW what a band,i am big fan now,Lizzy has crazy vocal abilities they rock🤘
It’s physically impossible for any human to hit every pitch perfectly live, but she damn near nails it. She’s one of my inspirations for singing through my training as I, too, am an Alto, but I’m the highest Alto before you hit Soprano land. I love the raw power of her voice and it shows she’s also wel and properly trained which is key and pivotal to proper singing without screwing your voice up.
My she is the most talented singer ever, I am older but love hard rock .In my 58 years being a rock fan no one, I mean absolutely no one has had this sound or feeling. Keep doing it Lzzy you are killing it

Every video I see of you two playing acoustic together y'all seem to always have fun and GET INTO the music. It's so awesome to see. Sooo many time you can see bands play and though it's high energy or even on "intimate" settings they always seem to lack heart while they play. It always looks like they are just there to fulfill an obligation and that is it.
You two seem to always have fun and can tell with body language and expressions that your having fun and enjoy the music and the moment. Very refreshing to see.

I think her voice does best when intertwined with the sounds of the electric guitar and bass and drums, etc. She has a talented voice for sure, but I think she was built for rock. This sounded a bit odd to me, but it was cool to hear her voice raw without being padded by the other instruments.
