I LOVE Iveco trucks but it's a bit disappointing that you can't get a big Stralis in Ireland with a manual gearbox when you can get them in the 510hp in the rest of Europe and The UK. Seriously underrated truck, too many people won't consider them.
@@CobaltSkies out of everything I've driven they tick more boxes than the other makes. Scania's are overrated "ESPECIALLY" the V8s, Volvo are strong mechanically but electronics are crap, DAF are weak, MAN are getting there but not the truck the F2000 series were and Mercedes are a lost cause since the old Actros went away.

Would be nice to see something like these be made available in the United States. I would absolutely love driving one of these! Perhaps a Volvo or Scania even. If only.
I stepped out of a high spec Volvo FH and into the stralis Highway around 2005 and I was pleasantly surprised by the truck... the one thing I did like was the top bunk and that was the one I used which like you said is unusual ..Great gearbox and I think it was a 480 which pulled fine even when loaded up! I see the dash has now been upgraded as that was rubbish with really cheap switches and from memory it had a weird passenger seat? Anyway it looks a nice truck now and another great review...
It's a great truck, very imposing ... Sincerely it does not have so much aesthetic luxury, It simply fulfills its function! It would be good, That Iveco surprise us with some future model, That it becomes new, With more benefits!
Seems like a nice truck,Iveco have improved massively over the years, wether I would buy one instead of a Scania or a Volvo I don't know it would probably come down to price.
Great vid Stavros, how simple are those gearbox switches! loved the shots from the following vehicle and when the truck went over the camera! The black XP570 looks awesome!
Another nicely done truck review. Thanks. Could you please also do a review on MAN TGX Euro 6? Waited for so long, last time was only a older model of MAN.
I love these videos. My grannie was from Tralee Co. Kerry and I still have a lot of relatives over there. The craic when I visit or they visit Scotland is brilliant
New suscriber hete and love you video"s and you are good to review in detailed in trucks:) I never learn so mutch about trucks and different trucks:) Keep it up and i love you acent too;)
Nice video mate, the hard mattresses can be made better by adding a Memory Foam Mattress Topper Bamboo Fabric SINGLE. Also the yellow light on the back of the truck could be for safety reasons like if you are without trailer and working on the back or changing parts, wheels it would be better for traffic coming up behind seeing a yellow light than a white light and mistaking it for a motorbike maybe.
Good video.I think my company are going to go for some of these. It looks smart on the road and that gearbox seemed way faster and smarter than the cr#p one in my 67 plate actros.Only thing with iveco is the quality of there plastics soooo cheap like when you opened the fuse box that would be broken in no time as a fleet motor. Why they need so many buttons for the cruise etc and why dotted all over the dash it's like the range t just have all the cruise controls on the wheel. It won't be long before a new model comes out so hope they address the steps, windows and the poor quality plastics.
The first Stralis many years ago, was the first with a full cab comfy enough and able to keep your head full up, for sure back in the 2006 stralis suffer from some little eletrical problem and ZF gearbox really sucks, now they fix all this shit, but what brings IVECO to the top level is the well balanced mix between a good truck, reasonable price and cheap maintenance. Every truck that work like tractor too use to be broken, and need maintenance. Don't forget that turbostar kick in the ass all the scania for many years, than eurostar completely delete IVECO reputation, rust uncomfy cab, but engine damn, stil kick hard. They are made in italy and not only worldwide, for italian truckers, uphill downhill and so on, so we need engine brake, we need power we need a decent gearbox, i'm always wondering what feels drive such a smooth engine with a 18 fuller gearbox like in old good times, where steel was steel and men use to be men. Adaptive cruise control is a pure gem, and it's necessary due to madness of people in this crazy traffic. Speed here in italy count zero, 85 km/h fuel consumption at the top and you reach the end at the same than going to 95 km/h... saving a lot of fuel. IVECO NP it's also the best one for natural gas one, much better than all the other brand, and i start to see them everywhere here in italy, last i hear a NP 460 hp goes from madrid to london 1080 miles without refuelling at all, that's impressive!
Hey Stavros, great review as always 👍 any chance of doing a late generation Magnum in the future? Hope you have a very merry Christmas and a brilliant New year by the way 😀

Great job Stavros.
Bigup to Stravros I like his explanation
Here in America we need these type of trucks
I agree. I think cabovers would be a good thing because shippers can get larger trailers and there is starting to be less long haul truckers.
@The stigs English cousin What I mean is cabover trucks here in the US.
Aren't volvo's good trucks?
@The stigs English cousin ok
They're ok..get the job done bit like an International or Freightliner stateside. If you have deep pockets, buy the Scania.
🙏🏿showing love from the USA 🇺🇸 I love your videos bro and can you do some videos on the Volvo’s people
The upper USB port may be for external hard drive if you want to charge a phone you have the 12 volt socket.

The more you practice the better you get. In the beginning it can be a bit intimidating.
