Puerto Rico is renowned for being the sunniest spot in Gran Canaria, so if you like it hot - this is the place to be!
During high season, the resort is bustling with holidaymakers who come to enjoy a day out on its small and beautiful beach. In addition, Puerto Rico offers a wide selection of watersports activities, ranging from jetskiing, sailing, diving, big-game fishing and windsurfing, to leisure excursions such as pleasure boat trips along the coast, dolphin-watching cruises or trips in glass-bottomed boats to discover the rich underwater life of the area.
This resort really does have a family friendly feel to it and you will find lots of children playing on the golden sand. A gentle breeze is always blowing and the sea is calm, offering ideal conditions for a dip in the warm waters of the Atlantic.

Bit late to the party, lived in Puerto Rico for almost 4 years. Still go back several times a year. But yes sitting on the balcony with a coffee early morning is what I lived for 😊
Whenever I’m in Puerto Rico I stay up the top views from the balcony’s in the apartments is out of this world.

Next resort is also considered part of puerto rico - playa ammodores and has a fabulous beach man made with sand from the Sahara, Gorgeous

Puerto Rico is kind of unique. You usually need to go up for the view down. This has got a view up as well😊

Is not far from Puerto Rico, but really really beautifull!! Its in Patalavaca!! Maybe a little vlog over there if youre still in Gran Canaria? Cheers!

I hope you are ok with all the sandstorms across the Canaries. I often check in on the airport webcams, and Lanzarote had almost zero visibility. I'm presuming that they all took a hit due to their location, relative to the Sahara.

Most of the appartments are for rent .I've staid there but I find the resort too small. Most apartments are up the hill and you either walk down and get a taxi back or taxi up and down. Views are good though. Most night life happens in the two shopping centres where there are restaurants and bars. It's easy and cheap to get buses to neighbouring resorts. I found the resort a tad expensive

Loving seeing a different holiday in Gran Canaria , eagle awaiting back in Tenerife.
Couple of different ideas 💡 for food blogs.
We go to the number 1 rated TripAdvisor in Los Cristanos that we didn’t show in the vlog.
The restaurant is called “Oliver’s out of town “ in Arona 3 miles from Los Cristanos,
This restaurant requires a booking of around 6 months to get a table it’s totally different and the scenery-around The Gardens are fabulous ( need a car but Cathy and Chris the owners arrange transportation.
Number 2 is a Repsol Petrol Station Restaurant Called “ Mirador Calleo” this is in the area we’re Chris and Tim Dowd live, near the Hard Rock Hotel. this is very special have a look on you tube for this restaurant fabulous. Plus we know many more but a car is essential. Raymundo y Patricia

The MacMaster we always use Autoreisen pay for smallest car always get upgrade pick up at the airport one week €55 drop off at La Vista office Orcar there sister company also reverse at the end of holiday. Raymundo y Patricia
This place reminds me of Spain in the 90s. I suppose if I wanted to relive my youth I might go there. Problem is, I was a complete pillock in my youth so I’ll stick to the nice places!! Tenerife for me!!!!!

I believe that Amadores is fantastic beach but Anfi del mar has lovely view from upper side walk 🏝🏖

I tate that glass bottom ferry to Mogan atleast 1 time when im there
was my second home puerto rico for 10 years when i was getting 99 peso to £ but when the euro came in it spoilt everything hope to come back for a quick visit in a week. it's quite hilly for people who don't know so be careful were your staying if you go .
blimey the beach area is way more built up now than when I went in 2002 where has that time gone 😳🤣
Canteras beach in Las Palmas was voted best beach in Gran Canaria.
Planning on Gran Canaria in May 2024 so just checking out your old videos!! Even now 1 bed apartments are only 110 to 180k (EUR), there's even a 12 bed hotel for sale!!! 2.1 million if you're interested?!! 😉😁

Great vlog again but had you walked a bit further the right side of the beach you’d have seen the walking area around the cliffs towards amadores beach and there’s a bar on the way around so you can stop off for a quick beer , and the views are fantastic on the walk as well . I know your home now but hoped you did it while you was there have you made up your mind which was the best beach . In my mind amadores is the best beach but we all have our favourites, in your merchandise will you be doing any shorts in the future .

Amadores is better, more intimate and smaller. Guess it's what you prefer. Mogan Mall into Puerto Rico is the reason I visit
Yes u are right there i went this year with my bestie first time stayed at riu Vastmar and another friend i am not a beach person but i have to say i love it all the little restaurants on the beach not far to walk.

Seems to be a lot more beaches and places to eat and drink in Tenerife. Some of the places look lovely in Gran Canaria but it just doesn't seem to flow the same. I did this fish thing in Yarmouth years ago but felt to weird. Safe trip to Tenerife ☀️🍺🛫😎

Got back on Friday evening. Cancelled flight on the morning of departure because of sandstorm so lost a day. But we enjoyed our return to Puerto Rico. Watched some of your vlogs before going and visited a few of the same places, Amadores, Puerto de Mogan, Meloneras, Playa del Ingles and others. Also spotted most areas you vlogged from in each one. Shame you didn't vlog the nightlife in the commercial centres in PdI, something for everyone. Anyway, that's GC done for another few years, onwards back to Tenerife or Lanzarote next winter, I forget! But first a return to our beloved Alcudia in north Majorca for summer. It's always amazing. keep vlogging!

i think Gran Canaria is a lot more expensive than Tenerife i couldnt find any of the 7.99 - 8.99 3 course meal deals that come with your 1Euro beer in gran canaria, theres plenty in Tenerife.
