I've been to Gran Canaria 3 times and have always loved it. I will never go to La Piazza (have never been before) especially after he said you cannot film. What is he trying to hide? lol, normally they pester you as soon as you read the first line of the menu to get you in lol. I will be going to Tenerife for the first time in January 2024 and having seen a number of your vlogs there, I feel I will know my way around as soon as I get there. Thanks Lee!
That resto that told you off for filming, I went £50 for a seafood pizza and a glass of wine and gave me the runs.. Great not. The staff were really miserable too. I always do lunch at cafe Mozart excellent. There is a hidden gem I discovered. Above annexo II is or was, a superb rooftop pool. You pay for the sunlouger and parasol and its for the whole day, there used to be waiter/waitress service too very very excellent and not expensive but a world away from the hustle and bustle but it looks like it's closed down awe gutted, but hey still another great vlog thank you
MHT is a fantastic night I've been a few times in Fuerteventura you definitely won't be disappointed. A three course meal and drinks included until the show starts then you pay for the drinks. And transfers are included too.
cactus 2 is in Puerto Rico upstairs in level 2/3 on the right, guy called Paco used to run it... absolutely brilliant guy! our front door keys still has the cactus 2 keyring...32.30
i had a problem in the same restaurant last year on my first day i didn't let him spoil gran canaria for me but he did put me in a mood for a few hours never mind him keep smiling good video

Corralejo has lots of restaurants and Bars & the best beaches &dunes in the Canaries.im sure you’ll need another 🍺 after walking in the Dunes. Enjoy. Tony.
I did that exact same walk back in November! Where you took the stairs at the start there's a lovely Chinese restaurant downstairs! Also El Toro bar and grill does, without doubt, the best steak on the island!
Never really though of a different canary island. Been going Tenerife for last 28 years. Know all of our favourite bars/restaurants and parts of the beach etc. Like you say though, maybe it’s just because it’s familiar. I’ll be keeping my eye on these vlogs. Might give it a try in October/November.

Hi Lee, I noticed you used the yellow and blue cash machines they have scattered around over there. In another vlog I seen with Asa Elliot, a guy who lives in Benidorm talk about these machines and what happens is, each shop installed with one of these machines gets a large percentage off of each time someone accepts these withdrawal fees and withdraws cash. He suggested if you need to withdraw money throughout your holiday to use the BBVA Banks as these do not charge. You probably already know this by now but I just thought I’d bring that to your attention for future reference.
I went to the tropical centre. Amazing restaurants looking out to the sea . You need to go more in land or set back from the front that's where the place comes alive
Hmmm, lovely beaches but I’m not keen on the way the bars are all positioned together in the shopping centres. I have to say from these first two vlogs I still prefer Costa Adeje Tenerife, I get the feeling your heart is in Tenerife too. Great vlogs once again👍

Tenerife all day long for me done GC twice with a 10 year gap between visits did not feel right for us personally feel the rife more orientated towards UK market imo. We visited Maspalomas to eat couple of times on last visit 2018 and to be honest felt very uncomfortable would never go back to GC.
We’ve been to Palmitos Park - it’s lovely. Overall I preferred Loro Parque in Tenerife. Think Tenerife a bit better for us with a family as more going on but Gran Canaria was more picturesque. Not seen anywhere quite a pretty as Puerto de Mogan in Tenerife. Tenerife is still my fav though :)

@@tonywalker5789 yeah they are different weather wise, it's fact between Puerto Rico/Mogan has the best weather in the Canaries as its more shelterd away from the cloud and wind, I've seen it cloudy in Tenerife on those live webcams and beautiful sunshine in Rico/Mogan both at the same time
They have a few bars or “kiosks” on the beach you can stop for a beer - although most of it is full of nudists. They have some nice bars on the other side of the dunes too. With you saying they don’t have many bars - get from the beach and head to the shopping centres, kasbah, Yumbo, cita, sandia etc - loads of bars to choose from!!
You must visit Jumbo center ! Try out Martel house ! And in Sandia shopping centre Chef Luigi restaurant (end your dinner you will vill have 3 bottles of drinks on your table Free and you can drink how much you can , one bottle rom one brandy and one liquor . Not joking !
Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan are excellent much better than Tenerife, also the weather in Gran Canaria blows Tenerife apart, it's much sunnier, Tenerife suffers from frequent cloud, GC wins easily

He didn't go up to Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan both places blow Tenerife apart, Rico/Mogan both have the best sunshine record in the Canaries, never again will I visit Tenerife as the weather is too unpredictable and far too cloudy

@@TheMacMaster Me to, that was on the right side of the puerto rico beach, i forgot water too, so i was dehydrated when i reach the top so the first thing i did was running to the store i the puerto azul an buy 2 bottles the befor we go to the europa center on the top there,.
Strange place by the looks of things. No bars or restaurants for miles and then everything all crammed in like sardines. Not sure I would want to be eating or drinking in that atmosphere where people are constantly walking past you.
In answer to your question, I believe the dunes are natural. They shift several meters every year. You probably spotted all the buldozers and heavy machinery down there they use to keep pushing it back i believe

Well Playa del Ingles has many bars too. concentrated in CC like Kabah,Plaza, Cita, Yumbo, Chapperall Kasbah for party people Cita for the Germans Yumbo for 🏳️🌈 Chaperral more Dutch oriented. Good for some Heineken and kroketten ( croquettes)

@@tonywalker5789 yeah they are different weather wise, it's fact between Puerto Rico/Mogan has the best weather in the Canaries as its more shelterd away from the cloud and wind, I've seen it cloudy in Tenerife on those live webcams and beautiful sunshine in Rico/Mogan both at the same time
I'd say less cloudier I think.
They have a few bars or “kiosks” on the beach you can stop for a beer - although most of it is full of nudists. They have some nice bars on the other side of the dunes too. With you saying they don’t have many bars - get from the beach and head to the shopping centres, kasbah, Yumbo, cita, sandia etc - loads of bars to choose from!!

You must visit Jumbo center ! Try out Martel house ! And in Sandia shopping centre Chef Luigi restaurant (end your dinner you will vill have 3 bottles of drinks on your table Free and you can drink how much you can , one bottle rom one brandy and one liquor . Not joking !

Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan are excellent much better than Tenerife, also the weather in Gran Canaria blows Tenerife apart, it's much sunnier, Tenerife suffers from frequent cloud, GC wins easily

He didn't go up to Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan both places blow Tenerife apart, Rico/Mogan both have the best sunshine record in the Canaries, never again will I visit Tenerife as the weather is too unpredictable and far too cloudy

I'm pretty sure the sand in GC is natural (although you could say its imported🙂), it blow in from the Sahara.

@@TheMacMaster Me to, that was on the right side of the puerto rico beach, i forgot water too, so i was dehydrated when i reach the top so the first thing i did was running to the store i the puerto azul an buy 2 bottles the befor we go to the europa center on the top there,.
I was parched. Had to buy water too. Lol. 😆
Strange place by the looks of things. No bars or restaurants for miles and then everything all crammed in like sardines. Not sure I would want to be eating or drinking in that atmosphere where people are constantly walking past you.

In answer to your question, I believe the dunes are natural. They shift several meters every year. You probably spotted all the buldozers and heavy machinery down there they use to keep pushing it back i believe
