It is a well researched, based on facts and well presented report. I have not watched this sort of comprehensive report before. We share language, living style and values with Sikhs. It would have been better for both communities if remained united. We Punjabis might have not suffered what we went through a traumatic situation during the partition of 1947.😢.
Whatever happened we can't reverse but we all can work hard to live like good neighbours and good brothers. Pakistani Punjabis respect Sikh community a lot in spite of the incidents of 1947. That was unnecessary killing and harming of some irresponsible hate lovers. Punjab is a land of Babas (holy men from Muslim, Skih and Hind communities) who always spread peace, love, harmony, patience, human dignity, and excellent values of humanity we all share. Thanks

Sikh got killed in the partition, we lost our lands because of bad leadership and trusting the people who our gurus said are blind. Trusted india got a genocide because of that. Hindu and Sikh were not closer Sikh and Muslim have been close in the history of Punjab. it was pushed into the minds of many people by politicians. Sikh had lost real leaders in the fight for freedom for the subcontinent. Leaders like Bhagat Singh, Sardar Udham Singh, Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha were lost in name of freedom.

It's a sad fact that you get one and if you are very lucky two chances in life, if you make right decision and are prepared to pay the price even though it might seem very high at the time it takes you on right path. On the other hand if you are not willing to pay the price which at the time you think is too high or you are blinded buy other factors than sadly you end up paying that price again and again and again, which you once considered too high. I am afraid you don't get many chances to rectify your mistakes.

I think the best option for Sikhs was a separate state at the time of partition... They could protect their identity history and geography. In my vlg there were many Sikhs shelterd and protected during riots and handed over safely to military in 1947.
This option was not given by Britishers to sikhs because there population was less and scattered all over Punjab. Only option was Either join India Or Pakistan.
