Based on that picture, I imagine that a Sburb arcade game would come before the actual game as a way to make you want to play the real thing when it comes out.The arcade game would have you start off in a house in the medium. You would have to kill imps in order to obtain grist. Over time, the house would expand toward the first gate, and if you had no or very little grist,the expansion process would stop and resume when more grist was available. You then ascend to the gate and the game ends.
I've seen a lot of people expect the ending would be a dream like the Warriors fandom expecting Firestar would be just dreaming and he was just Rusty all along,thats the most heartbreaking common ending
