PSD: Pixel Dimensions, Resolution and Document Size

This is a beginner Photoshop CS5 video. In this video I try to explain how to use the image dialogue box and the difference between resolutions, pixel dimensions and document size.

It's the third time that I am watching this video because I am having trouble to understand how it exactly works. You said that the smaller you print, the less details it needs: the bigger you print, the more details it needs. But why then the Small Print image has 300 resolution and the Big Print image has 93.75 resolution ?

hi Piscitello, guess u don't look at the BIG PRINT closely right? so u don't require high resolution for a BIG print when u view it from a distance.
