I had mother and father together in our home...plus one siamese cat,male. After a couple of weeks...all THREE took turns..playing, putting back into nest..etc. When mom fed..only then was she alone. Clearly not a man's job there :)
Had a tomcat who would lay down and call his babies to him. He cleaned and cared for them as well. He was a huge cat, and to see him take care of his tiny babies was absolutely precious ❤. It was a little alarming at first to see him put his big paw on their tiny little heads though.

Wow! To see Daddy Coco being so concerned and so involved is so touching. To see him trying to pull the blanket over to cover up Mom and baby brought a tear to my eyes. I grew up on a farm and at about 5 years old I watched our cat give birth in our barn was a memory I will always cherish. She made a bed out of hay and straw that was there. I remember a wooden box that she chose as the birth place. The father cat wasn't present. I am a 65 year old man and have thought about that pleasant memory many times throughout my life. Coco is a furry little puppet, guided by human hands (effort) to pull the blanket into the box. Like a movie...Benji, Lassie, etc. But Coco is actually very thoughtful. It is in its nature ... a cat, a special Cat Coco. We humans don't quite understand that nature completely, we understand only a little because cats do some things that humans also do. Cats no matter the age would always remain "kittens" or like very young human children. Older cats are just wiser and more experienced kittens. One would never imagine a very young human child to understand thoughtfulness, or be thoughtful. Anyway, being cat in a human world is much more challenging/difficult than being human, young or old, in a human world. Thoughtful includes thinking about or considering consequences. It is in the nature of cats, and a special Cat Coco.

Mimi is obviously in the phase of her full-bloom motherhood and very protective of her little kitten against all intruders, including kitten’s father, typical of a normal mother cat’s behavior at this stage. Coco, being a typical father of munchkin-breed, cares about his children unlike father cats of other breeds and is very eager to join the mommy-baby duo. However, rejected by Mimi, Coco ended up sleeping in Mr. Butler’s bed. Lol. Poor Coco!🥺🥺 Coco is so beautiful. Super video thanks a lot, the whole family was present. I missed Coco a lot. Baby is so cute always sleeping as babies are supposed to do, to eat ans sleep. Mimi protective like always, adoring her little kitty who is always looking for her, and gentle Coco coming to see how kitty is doing and bringing with him a cover, maybe because he saw how he was sleeping on his back with nothing to cover him, how sweet.
