@@peterkeisam5895 She has a suspected heart problem. It was covered in a video update a couple of days ago but the vet couldn't make an accurate diagnosis because she's so small. It needs further investigation by a cardiac specialist to find out how serious/treatable it is. My opinion is that it was a bad idea to breed those two cats as they are genetically compromised. I would never have bought them in the first place. It's much better to adopt stray cats from a shelter and not encourage selective breeding.

It shows that creatures are interested in the babies and seeing them develop. It also shows that they must know what they did to bring that baby into the world and that it's theirs.
It would be best to get the parents fixed. Hormones are bothering Coco, and all of them will lead healthier, happier lives if you get them fixed. And, there are likely recessive genes at play re: the deaths of the other kittens, and Kiki's struggles. The dad is a munchkin, and those mutations may seem cute to humans, but they are a result of generations of inbreeding. Not healthy for kittens. You should get them fixed so they can live happy cat lives. There are plenty of unwanted kittens out there to adopt..

Even adult cats are long sighted and can't focus on things close to their face which is why you'll see their whiskers reach forward if, say, a toy comes too close to their nose.

Now would be a good time to get Coco neutered. Given the loss and difficulties little Kiki is having, he does not need to be fathering any more kittens. And when Kiki is strong enough then get Mimi spayed. There are so many homeless kittens and cats out that awaiting their forever homes or being put down, whichever comes first, so if you are wanting more taking in a homeless kitty would be wonderful. I'm saying this from my heart, not to be mean. I am adding some information. Based on some of the negative replies to my "opinion" it is very clear a lot of people don't care about abnormalities that interbreeding can cause. For my part I care very much what happens to animals. I suggest naysayers look up what happens when cats interbreed. Some veterinarians actually believe it is cruel to breed munchkins and should only be done by an experienced breeder. Interbreeding can cause all kinds of health problems for the offspring, and THAT is what concerns me about Mimi and Coco breeding. I mean Mimi lost three babies and Kiki may have some abnormalities.
Definitely agree! This is often why male cats will kill kittens, even their own. They want to continue breeding. As long as she is tending to her kitten, Mimi’s attention is off of him. Eliminating kitten will bring Mimi’s attention back to him. I think the big deal between breeding Mimi and Coco was the hybridization of a shorthaired British/Scottish fold with a munchkin. As cute as Kiki is, maybe not such a good idea.
Trouble is - Kiki needs attention because she's not well and Mimi could have 4 or 5 new kittens to look after. The owner needs to care for the animals he already has. They are his responsibility.

Breeding designer cats is not recommended. You end up with dead and deformed kittens. They need to be neutered as soon as possible. Coco can be neutered now.

To the CATS OWNER: Please, keep an eye on COCO, he wants to mate MIMI. I have seen male cats KILLING kittens so the mother will be in HEAT again. Is it not time to NEUTER the cats? I think they were too young to be having kittens, and that's the reason why COCO's kittens died almost all. Her body was not ready for it.
I think you should at least separate the adult male and female cats for about 3 months (up to 6 months). Usually, mother cat will stop nursing and caring its kitten around that time.
It is cruel to keep an un-neutered male cat and not allow him to mate. It's also cruel to keep an unspayed female cat and not allow her to mate. They both become extremely frustrated and highly obnoxious pets, likely to cause a lot of damage to the apartment. The only responsible solution is to get Coco neutered as soon as possible, get Mimi spayed once Kiki is weaned and get Kiki spayed when she'd old enough - around 6 months. Only then is there a chance that they can live together as the idyllic cat family.

Kiki’s heart rate is way too high and this indicates that she has congestive heart failure. This is extremely common in cats and 2 of my cats died from it . Please take her to a veterinary hospital and get an X-ray of her chest and an ultrasound to see if there is fluid around her lungs. This is a horrible way for a cat to die as it’s extremely painful. My baby Leon died from this at 2.5 years old. He woke us up screaming in pain and was paralyzed from the waste down because a clot from his heart went to the main artery for his legs and cut off his circulation. Please don’t let this happen to Kiki . ❤❤❤

Yes, Coco can adopt any future children, he seems like a nurturing type. But mom really has had enough, losing at least three babies (more may have died and been absorbed earlier) and having the surviving one with some health issues. Munchkin genes are not always good for kittens, even if they are born with normal legs, and Mother Nature sent a pretty clear message. Adult cats really can be great foster parents for little kittens, even after being spayed or neutered. So you can have the fun of family interactions without the risks. Both parents seem well suited to the task.
There is an ethical problem in many UA-cam cat channels. Channel producers believe that kittens get more clicks and views, and in many cases that works. They celebrate the kitten and people of course love it. But when the kitten grows, they get new clickbait. I noticed the magical number 3, but it has gotten bigger. I am also sure that there are many ethical cat channels in UA-cam. For example Mugumogu got about a year ago new kitten, Miri, but has treated all three cats as stars. The oldest cat, Maru, gets much time on channel and is very respected! 🙂 It is an act of high class.
I don't know why people watch these kind of channels when there are channels that even have rescue videos on them. There's also people who Foster animals that constantly have an influx of babies. But it's a sad fact that people are very ignorant about the pet trade and honestly don't care to learn. They see this cute little kitten face and will probably be looking up munchkin cats the next day with zero self-awareness.

I also watch Kittisaurus, a Korean channel with subtitles that has 10 cats! All are fixed, though she rescued a mama with her two kittens that are now grown. Super fun! Those are my main ones, at least :)
I also do want to note that Kittisaurus had a video where an actual vet had explained why munchkin cats are cruel to breed, a very informative video as a munchkin cat is one of their kitties.

My female cat is spayed. I don't regret having her spayed, if my cat were male, my cat would be neutered.

It shows that creatures are interested in the babies and seeing them develop. It also shows that they must know what they did to bring that baby into the world and that it's theirs.
It would be best to get the parents fixed. Hormones are bothering Coco, and all of them will lead healthier, happier lives if you get them fixed. And, there are likely recessive genes at play re: the deaths of the other kittens, and Kiki's struggles. The dad is a munchkin, and those mutations may seem cute to humans, but they are a result of generations of inbreeding. Not healthy for kittens. You should get them fixed so they can live happy cat lives. There are plenty of unwanted kittens out there to adopt..

Even adult cats are long sighted and can't focus on things close to their face which is why you'll see their whiskers reach forward if, say, a toy comes too close to their nose.

Now would be a good time to get Coco neutered. Given the loss and difficulties little Kiki is having, he does not need to be fathering any more kittens. And when Kiki is strong enough then get Mimi spayed. There are so many homeless kittens and cats out that awaiting their forever homes or being put down, whichever comes first, so if you are wanting more taking in a homeless kitty would be wonderful. I'm saying this from my heart, not to be mean. I am adding some information. Based on some of the negative replies to my "opinion" it is very clear a lot of people don't care about abnormalities that interbreeding can cause. For my part I care very much what happens to animals. I suggest naysayers look up what happens when cats interbreed. Some veterinarians actually believe it is cruel to breed munchkins and should only be done by an experienced breeder. Interbreeding can cause all kinds of health problems for the offspring, and THAT is what concerns me about Mimi and Coco breeding. I mean Mimi lost three babies and Kiki may have some abnormalities.

Definitely agree! This is often why male cats will kill kittens, even their own. They want to continue breeding. As long as she is tending to her kitten, Mimi’s attention is off of him. Eliminating kitten will bring Mimi’s attention back to him.
I think the big deal between breeding Mimi and Coco was the hybridization of a shorthaired British/Scottish fold with a munchkin. As cute as Kiki is, maybe not such a good idea.

Trouble is - Kiki needs attention because she's not well and Mimi could have 4 or 5 new kittens to look after. The owner needs to care for the animals he already has. They are his responsibility.

Breeding designer cats is not recommended. You end up with dead and deformed kittens. They need to be neutered as soon as possible. Coco can be neutered now.

I think you should at least separate the adult male and female cats for about 3 months (up to 6 months). Usually, mother cat will stop nursing and caring its kitten around that time.
It is cruel to keep an un-neutered male cat and not allow him to mate. It's also cruel to keep an unspayed female cat and not allow her to mate. They both become extremely frustrated and highly obnoxious pets, likely to cause a lot of damage to the apartment. The only responsible solution is to get Coco neutered as soon as possible, get Mimi spayed once Kiki is weaned and get Kiki spayed when she'd old enough - around 6 months. Only then is there a chance that they can live together as the idyllic cat family.

I don't agree that cat's don't love. The state of maternal bliss and gentle all consuming love Mimi has felt for Kiki is most certainly authentic and innate. Nature may have ensured she feels this way and that the strength of her affections are transient but that doesn't make her love at the time any less real.
Cats who are spayed certainly love their human owners too. Not all are the affectionate type, others kneed and sniff their owners clothing, eyes shut in an almost Zen like state like they were feeding when young. The owner can be wearing the clothes at the time!😄 Cat's demand to sleep on their owners bed, and welcome their human's return home with an extravagant display of rolling around and purring. .they do love.
I don't think people who humanize cat's on these channel's do any harm. Individuals whose family pet's shower them with devotion and affection have good reason for feeling that way. One can tire of the naysayers.

Kiki’s heart rate is way too high and this indicates that she has congestive heart failure. This is extremely common in cats and 2 of my cats died from it . Please take her to a veterinary hospital and get an X-ray of her chest and an ultrasound to see if there is fluid around her lungs. This is a horrible way for a cat to die as it’s extremely painful. My baby Leon died from this at 2.5 years old. He woke us up screaming in pain and was paralyzed from the waste down because a clot from his heart went to the main artery for his legs and cut off his circulation. Please don’t let this happen to Kiki . ❤❤❤

Apart from the last few words, you're entirely wrong. There's no love or hatred between cats. He wants to mate. She doesn't and told him so. He's frustrated. That's it. Yes, Coco can adopt any future children, he seems like a nurturing type. But mom really has had enough, losing at least three babies (more may have died and been absorbed earlier) and having the surviving one with some health issues. Munchkin genes are not always good for kittens, even if they are born with normal legs, and Mother Nature sent a pretty clear message.
Adult cats really can be great foster parents for little kittens, even after being spayed or neutered. So you can have the fun of family interactions without the risks. Both parents seem well suited to the task.

There is an ethical problem in many UA-cam cat channels. Channel producers believe that kittens get more clicks and views, and in many cases that works. They celebrate the kitten and people of course love it. But when the kitten grows, they get new clickbait. I noticed the magical number 3, but it has gotten bigger.
I am also sure that there are many ethical cat channels in UA-cam. For example Mugumogu got about a year ago new kitten, Miri, but has treated all three cats as stars. The oldest cat, Maru, gets much time on channel and is very respected! 🙂 It is an act of high class.
I don't know why people watch these kind of channels when there are channels that even have rescue videos on them. There's also people who Foster animals that constantly have an influx of babies. But it's a sad fact that people are very ignorant about the pet trade and honestly don't care to learn. They see this cute little kitten face and will probably be looking up munchkin cats the next day with zero self-awareness.

@@mikahamari6420 Kitten Lady is an awesome cat foster that does neonatal kittens! She sometimes rescues pigs and dogs, too lol. I also watch Kittisaurus, a Korean channel with subtitles that has 10 cats! All are fixed, though she rescued a mama with her two kittens that are now grown. Super fun! Those are my main ones, at least :)
I also do want to note that Kittisaurus had a video where an actual vet had explained why munchkin cats are cruel to breed, a very informative video as a munchkin cat is one of their kitties.
