Sir could you please tell me the intracardiac tumor vs thrombus difference.. Although it is out of topic but i didn't got the satisfactory answer from anyone.. I am discussing about adult ECo...
A thrombus may be freely mobile and will resolve after heparin treatment. It is associated with Myocardial infarction, Atrial fibrillation or even with DVT. An intracardiac tumor won't resolve over time and appears solid and hyperechoic. It will involve the myocardium and may even look like myocardial thickening.
Hello. These findings indicate pericardial effusion (fluid surrounding the heart) and pleural effusion (fluid within thorax). This could be due to an infection, inflammation, or other underlying health issues. Follow up scans and a thorough check up is required. Please consult with your doctor.
@@DrSamsImagingLibrary Thank you for your reply. I had a follow up ultrasound and the prof said that it’s a small amount only 1.7mm that’s it’s all completely normal and there’s nothing in the thorax anymore. She said anything under 2mm is normal and she told me not to worry but to come back in 6 weeks time.
Hi sir i had my anamoly scan done it was found out that persistent left superior vena cava dilated into coronary sinus and single umblical artery. Is there any complications regarding heart sir?im at 24th week of pregnancy now
Hello! There is a risk of abnormalities. Further detailed fetal echocardiography is required to monitor cardiac function and overall health of the baby. Best Wishes!
