Clinical History and examination helps alot and Here are the echo findings to differentiate a pulmonary mass, aortic aneurysm, and a cyst compressing the RA or LA: - Pulmonary mass: Heterogeneous, hypoechoic or hyperechoic mass adjacent to the heart, often with irregular borders. - Aortic aneurysm: Dilated aortic segment (>3.5 cm) with aortic wall thickening and possible thrombus. - Cyst compressing RA/LA: Well-defined, hypoechoic, smooth-walled structure compressing the RA/LA, often with posterior acoustic enhancement.
hii ,, How do I do the plax well, and how do I take the diastle and systloe well? It always doesn't work for me. The rest of the things work, but I still have problems from this section??
PLAX is best obtained from 3rd or 4th left intercostal space with pointer towards left shoulder, slight up or down movement of tail of the probe and rotation will clearly show the view . Here is the video for obtaining transthoracic views: ua-cam.com/video/b70tsWPz2P0/v-deo.html
I know that and I have watched the video you made, but in reality when I want to get the clip I don't do it well, it always remains crooked and slanted and I get annoyed by it, even the dimensions are not correct because it is slanted.. Thank you anyway😢
I appreciate the struggle you are going thru, try all the maneuvers and stick where view comes best. moving tail up and down, tilting towards or away from the apex, and moving probe in circular fashion helps alot. i will try to make a video for maneuvers to obtain best views
Nice work, i learnt so much from a young frat ernity doc, even after 15yrs of doing echo myself ,, thanks god bless you

About right parasternal view for aortic stenosis, do you have video or link for it, its difficult to obtain, thank you for your assistance
Yes sure, i will find out and get back to you soon. This view is really healpful in the assessment of aortic stenosis
