The title of the lecture should be "How we can relate Islamic law with pre Islamic law without mentioning anything about Islamic Law"
@23:00 -- that was an important point. Thank you for emphasizing the importance of scholarly approach
As a Muslim I watched 3 times I didn’t get anything because of her lack of Islamic law
Fantastic lecture, very enlightening especially about her source analysis methodology. I will be getting the book.
Thank you. Very brave scholar. Hope we see the book soon translated to Arabic.
@25:00 the jurist Al-Shafi Died in 820CE--which is part of late antiquity isint it? This is not medieval period
I can't understand this lecture as me also teacher of Islamic studies.
why this school of law taking some words from unreliable source like this woman, from the speach we see that she are so lack the basic understanding of islam and not credible at all to talk about islamic law, is this the way you teach your student?
Her speech seems to me that she did not reach the original sources of Islamic jurisprudence!
WHAT? WHAT? WHY IS SHE USING SUCH COMPLICATED ENGLISH WORDS AND SUBSTITUTION WORDS FOR QURAN AND HADITH? VERY CONFUSING FOR A NORMAL PERSON.
Nonsense speech 🤣She is not taking about islamic law almost at all .. only bla bla bla
