- Adele speaks with TODAY's Matt Lauer about her new album, "25," which was released last Friday, and her one-hour NBC special, "Adele Live in New York City." Adele talks about the source of inspiration for her music saying, "sometimes you have to let yourself be sad to move forward." She also talks about her son Angelo, saying that he comes first and that she and her music come second in her life.

She is living proof that there is still hope for the music industry!
She is a down to earth person, cares about her kid more than selling records - I respect her. She deserves all the accolades she got and I saw some fan-interactions of her - go watch, she truly is a nice person & thoughtful towards fans, she treats them well. I hope she is the biggest thing in 2015/2016 so that music industry moves more towards substance than flash.

+AHI Yes she is very protective of him and Matt's comment annoyed me also when she had brought him up and Matt replied "Yeah we are going to get to Angelo in a few minutes." almost cutting her off.

+AHI shes very protective of her songs privacy, if you notice she will never mention is name in interviews and has also made it illegal for any newspaper, magazine, online blogs ect, to post images of his face
What I like about Adele is that she is so down to earth, in the right place in her life and mistress of her own destiny, plus what a voice, just amazing..... I believe that Adele has every reason to be very guarded about her family, good for her I say.... About time the media stayed out of people's lives and let them get on with it like the rest of us..... Adele has this amazing warm vocals that touch a person's own heart... Awesome lady.

The joke was just bad delivery, he said it a bit late which sounded like a statement from his mind rather than a comment made from her boyfriend during the scenario they'd just discussed.
