Thanks. I got all my parts from a wrecked truck that was a factory zf6. I do know a bit about Cummins. They're not hard to swap over to a manual if it's a 5.9 12 valve. On those u can get an adapter plate for the back of the engine to fit almost any trans u want. I got 2 Cummins, one with the OE 5 speed trans and one with a 6 speed Eaton. And both mount the same to the 5.9 block.
Do I have to swap the computer? That’s the only thing I don’t have is the computer or the wiring harness I just put the neutral safety switch in neutral and it fires up

The zf6 also requires a trans cooling system. U can gently bent ur original lines and add a peace to one to make it work or just get the actual zf6 trans cooling lines.
I don't remember for sure. But if u r converting over from auto to manual and the zf5 doesn't have a place for the cooling lines then just take off the auto cooling lines and dont worry about it. Should be just fine.

U don't have to swap the PCM but the truck will not run to it's full potential.
how hard was it to swap the clutch petal? I haven't seen too much info on that part of the swap
its simple. The bolts that hold the clutch pedal are already there. You just pop out a plug to put the master cylinder rod through and bolt it in.

Si tambien el pcm. Puede corer sin cambiarlo pero no core vien la troca. Se jalonea.
