Pigs are not all pink except when they are babies. Some are white ,some are black and reddish brown. I used to live on a farm and helped with the babies. Had a runt that slept with me til she got bigger. She was reddish brown with a black patch on her back hip. Her name was Miss Piggy.
Michelle maybe if you put your mold on a turntable and slowly turned it as you were pouring the resin Those are absolutely adorable God bless. You have a great weekend.
This tip may help you Michelle. When I’m trying to marble colors and using two to four colors at the same time I put my mold on a Lazy Susan and spin the mold very slowly as I pour my colors in. This way I’m not turning my hand awkwardly to try and get the marbling evenly throughout my resin piece. Just thought I would share this with you.
The owl is cute and could be browns , white or a mix of both , cute little pigs though i do prefer the sitting up one more but thats just personal preference
Oh goodness I love them all! I want all of these molds! Do you sell them?? Oh and I can help with the split cups! First if you dont want the color to overpower the white you will want to use more white than your color so to do this with split cups you will want to layer each side of the cup white,color, white, color, white. Or you can do it as you did here except layer one side and keep the other side pure white. Also if you just want color in one side and white in the other try moving your hand in a circular motion like you are stirring something to get a more marbled effect you can also put your mold on a lazy Susan and spin it slowly as you pour into the mold to get that mix of color but color will always dominate white so be mindful of that part. Take your white alcohol ink, drip it on the pink piggies in different areas and amounts. Let it dry, and you will find a piggie that has better marbling. If it isn't enough, put on a layer of matte spray, to lock in what you have, and put on another layer of the alcohol ink. After the ink has dried, you can apply a gloss sealant, probably best by spray, but however you like. The matte sealant spray just helps lock in the alcohol and helps the alcohol you put on afterward stick much more effectively. Putting on a thin layer of the matte spray before starting the alcohol ink may do a lot of good as far as the depth of color and what kind of effect you get, but it isn't necessary.
