The Mantas are all A series, which basically is the MK1 Manta, and I think the gold/bronze car next to the main house is another. The Berlinetta was just a luxury trim version of the manta and the orange car won’t have a 1900 badge on the wing under the manta ray if it was a 1600 engine.
They are certainly gorgeous cars and a great find.
The B series came out in 1975.
Awesome location 👌🏻👍🏻
Here in the US 1975 was the first year for Bosch FI and last year Buick dealerships sold Opels. Never seen the Manta B sold here. I have a very clean unrestored maroon 1974 Berlinetta, and blue 1900 with corrosion. Also two 1975 Ascona Sportwagons. I have never seen a chrome Manta badge on a US sold car, it just says the letters in red.
I never now that they sold Opels in the U.S and Ascona Sportswagon i never seen here in Holland ,we had here Ascona A,B and C the last one are in G.B sold as the Vauxhall Cavelier but i seen foto,s of the Opel Voyeser they had the front of the A Manta and the back of the Ascona Mk1 Break and also a later version whir the front of an Ascona Mk2 and the back of an Opel Manta Mk2 the Manta Mk2 was in GB the Vauxhall Cavalier.@@goratgo1970
This is what Saturday's are made for 💅💅 and car graveyard s. Doesn't get any better 👌
Just imagine, meeting the owner, striking a deal to buy some of the better cars, finding ultra rare classics in the containers too,. Then you go to shake the man's hand ,,, and he notices the pink nail varnish 😲 Deal off ha !!,,
Keep up the good work 👍🏴👍
🤣🤣🤣👌🏼
If anyone saw you climbing through those brambles with your hood up and your pink finger nails they would probably run a mile 😀.
Great find this one, half a dozen blokes with strimmers for a few days would uncover loads of stuff.
👍
This video is quintessential Stokze! An instant classic. 👏🏻 Don’t know too much about Mantas, but you’re right, they are stunning! Got a bit of American muscle car about them at the front, classic Ferrari / Corvette at the rear and the shape of a Capri like you say. Beautiful.
Yes stokzeeeeee, wow those old opels are class.... my first car was the ascona... that noise you heard was a woodpecker I think.
Big thankyou for your efforts and content stu... stay safe brother 🙏
Another great video Stu, we are in debt to you for your efforts for our entertainment. Will watch Sunday for sure. I'd recommend everyone check out your older videos too, some amazing places and cars found. I met Johnny Smith at a car show local to me btw, I think he was quite chuffed to be recognised haha.
Great one Stu and what a car graveyard find that was , like you I loved the Opel manta, I was hoping the doors were opened but respect for not wanting to open them bud , keep the content coming mate great viewing
Great video some good old classics 👌
I take my hat of to you the way you explore only found your channel a few weeks ago and have binge watched a good few. Total respect to the way you take things in your stride with life's ups and downs. Keep safe and look forward to what the future explores.

Those mantas! Such a cool find and love the dedication getting through the brambles! + so cool that that red manta was first registered on the isle of wight (where I live) you just don’t see stuff like that with an island reg nowadays
Great video stu, you just don't see those mantas nowadays, talk about buried, they been undisturbed many years.

Any video you take time to share with us is great mate keep up great work 👍
The guy had a serious thing for Peugeot 505's. Bless him an unusual choice .
Morning Stu,
Them Opel manta's are so cool.
It looks like it has not been touched for years.
Thanks for sharing brother.
🤜🤛🍻🙏
Good to see these sort of videos again bro 👌
Brilliant video Stokze, I had an Opel Manta Berlineta on Dutch plates from 1990 until 94 when a very nice bloke (bobJones of Cardiff) decided to do a break test on the duel carriageway! Car was written off. I loved that more than my Capri tbh.
Im in tears here i’d give my left testicle for a manta a-series my Dad owned one when I was a kid and he later told me he only bought it because I fell in love with it and never stopped talking about it 😮
Great video Stu - love this!
Loving both uploads every week mate 👍
Keep it going
Brilliant find & another top video as always!
WELL DONE STU ,brilliant 👏 find mate...keep up the good 👍 work..bri. .. sunderland

Awesome video, thanks very much 🤙
Pink nails😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Seriously mate, an absolutely cracking video this week. Mantas and 505GTi’s criminal seeing them in this state. Big👍👍👍👍👍
we had a gold-coloured Manata back in the mid 90`s it was imported from Australia it was immaculate not a dot of rust on it drove like a dream.
What a brilliant video really enjoyable some great classic vehicles there at that place well done now great job 👌👌
What an amazing little place. Some real rare classics there for sure. It's such a shame so many are just left to fade away into the ground over time. Great video buddy 👍
Every time a perfekt Video!
Wau an Opel Manta A in England, and in RHD too!
Ist a nice Oldtimer from 1200 cc (60 HP) to the very rare 2000 CC GTE "Black Magic" (105 HP) in 1975!
Thank you very much!
Greetings
Klaus from Düsseldorf
Great video !!
Amazing & sad that someone collects & just leaves so many cars to rot.
Thanks for sharing your fab adventure ! 👍
Awesome explore there buddy some real gems always enjoy all Ur videos keep up the awesome work, look forward to seeing more soon .
I bet those containers have cars in....such a shame. Not seen a 505 on the road for years! Love those cars
Wow mate what a legend video keep going looking forward to your next video any capri 2.8 injection coming up soon 👍
Excellent Vid Stu
Them mantas were a great find - keep up the good work bud & stay safe
Such a shame to see those cars rotting away, love the effort you put in to find these.keep doing the Sunday vids 👍
What a great location, with so many great finds. These Opel Manta A Series are becoming very rare, and all these are sitting there. Sad and incredible! Plenty of people would pay good money for one of these cars. It beats me how all these classics can just be parked up and forgotten about.I’m surprised that they don’t even appear to have had parts taken off them. That is one of the most fascinating car graveyards I have seen. Keep bringing us these great explores.
All those classics just wasting away when they could be restored and enjoyed by others such a shame great video
Cracking videos m8 keep them coming 👍.
Great video mate, I can’t ever recall seeing so many Peugeot 505s (let alone estates) in one place! Really enjoyed this and I guess makes your research and travel worthwhile.
Excellent video stu
Can't believe that manta was sitting there 😱
My favourite car I've ever owned was my manta gte .
I sold it years ago for cheap and now can't afford to buy another 🤣
This is the mistake we all make mate! I've swapped Gte's Gti's capris escorts you name it for utter rubbish! At the time it's a cracking deal! But in reality we got ripped off haha
@@ImStokze
I'm the same way stu
You jumped at deals and swapped/sold cars and just a few years later they are like hen's teeth and have shot up in price
Mate we must be crazy 🤣
Brilliant video mate amazing find there love the mantas too imagine being able to buy all the cars there as one job lot plus anything else you could find there stay safe stu and keep these videos coming 👍
Thanks for all your hard work you do for us .
Thanks for going through that nightmare with the risk of ruining your nails for us. Its sad to see such great cars dead but at least they still exist.
A Saturday morning can't get better then this ! 4 Manta's for crying out loud ! And now we know were the all the 505's have gone. The White pick up was the commercial version of the Peugeot 504 which was another good car. Never saw many on the road when they were in production back in the day ..The White van looked like a LDV Convey . The Opel under the cover looked more like a Opel Ascona coupe possibly as the interior was not a Manta and Manta's didn't have wood trim in them either .What a find and thanks for working your way through the bushes .Remember to have your gloves handy next time . Worth a revisit sometime i'd say. Nice one.
Brilliant find the amount of money spent on those cars for them to be left to rot it a crime against them but as you said the person who owns the cars might have passed away or family have put him in a care home but what a shame they have to be left like this but what a find 🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗
Brilliant finds mate, superb film
Great video stu thanks so much 🙏
savage video. he liked his pugs. go back when the leaves fall
I had a 1973 L reg Opel Manta 1.9 SR. It was a cracking car. Mine was yellow with black roof and bonnet. 😎
Great find. 👍🏼👍🏼

Yes bro!
Unreal keep up the good work 👍
Those mantas look like a late 60s Camaro, there was a bronze one with a cover on behind the silver Subaru estate you reg checked, there was probably tons more classics there you couldn't get to 😭
Brilliant find mate I love the old mantas. Got to be more cars in them Brambles.
Every next turn was a gold mine of discovery, all those cars just buried on the brush and briars was absolutely endless!!! Crazy cool location brother! 🤠🌲🍃

brilliant content mate,im 51 and i carnt remember the opel bernaletta but what a stunning car,you would think that they belonged to farrari or some high priced tag italian job but amazed at opel doing that car.what else surprised me aswell is how your knowledge of cars is better than mine and im an oldish fart, you know your cars mate and thank you for going there and showing us those cars and increasing my knowledge of those opel cars from my time lol
Thats a really nice thing to day! Thank you so much! I'm honestly stabbing in the dark with cars haha I don't know much but honestly appreciate it
Hey Bruv what a touch, Jerry has already visited this site but I nearly cried… keep doing what you’re doing because you are good at it 👊🏼
Cool video-Opels were sold here in the states via Buick dealers. My uncle had a 2dr Kadett and I had a friend that owned a Manta and a GT, Thanks for taking us along...

Great content bro looks like the owner was a french car enthusiasts but those opel manta's were the star's of the video i remember my uncle having one but a later model but you put yourself in a right state with the brambles looking forward to the next video hopefully some more classic cars cheers bro
Very cool mate 👌
OMG Stu! Gobsmacked Bro! What a bunch of finds. Amazing Mantas, fantastic cars, beautiful to look at. Never owned one sadly, however a BroInLaw had one years ago and it was awesome.
So sad to see such waste. Thier are definitely cars worth saving there, but as usual it's near impossible getting these vehicles. Sad shame for motoring history.
I've never seen a Pug estate Gti before, that's such a surprise.
What a location! Just keeps on giving!
Risky move but paid off!
Nice to hear you in your element doing what you enjoy.
More teasers for tomorrow's vid, your naughty!
Great video.. your like the Steve Irwin of abandoned vehicles!
Love your videos Stu 👏
Pink nail varnish omg you legend imagine had anyone come to confront you they would of took one look and knew instantly you weren't up to anything bad or they would of thought you were crazy or just ran from you 🤣
Very time i see one of these treasure hunt videos you make my heart breaks. There’s so many of these cars i owned, drove or sold during the 80s when i worked in the motor trade. My grandfather ran an Opel Olympus then one of these Mantas and then a GTE. Argh. I need to rob a bank lol.
Holy shit what a collection. These Manatas need to be saved!!!!
That blue Manta is stunning, what crying shame 😢
