- We have closed on the project house! Time to get ready for demo by first "sending away" all the bugs... to bug heaven. In this video we walk through how to use hot shot no-mess fogger bug bombs and share in the mistakes we make during the process.

Crazy thing is. I’m watching this on July 2nd but 3 years later
Me too 😂
Happy 4th of July - did it work?!?🤯
This was a lot of fun to watch!
“Hopefully all the bugs would have moved out... or died I guess”
“Moved out, To heaven”
💀💀💀💀💀💀
They are hilarious 😂😂😂
Bruh, where is the before and after.
Live this video .... yoy all are so cool ... hope all is well still
The amount of negative comments are disgusting. If you are going to UA-cam tp seek professional advice then you most definitely have the option to look for a professionals video . These 2 are D.I.Y and in no way claimed to give "professional " advice. Just 2 people that love what they do and want tp share that .
Thank you for the video was funny and helped ease my nerves about bombing my own home . You said 2 to 3 months was the longevity hopefully by then I have the source gone . We paid some one when we bought our home but they came back we arnt messy people by any means so here's to hoping I find the source 😅
You need to shake them first then at least one in each room. Thanks for the video I hope it worked for you.
The direction didn’t say to shake them
@khangbanger7488 it does say shake and they don't need that many
Only thing to make sure about is that there are no gas pipes under the house where you’re throwing those things.
It’s funny how the wife treats them like they’re grenades with a short fuse. 😆
Are there any specific objects like tv’s you should watch out for?
Nope, not to my knowledge but be sure to read the box before hand in case anything has changed about them!
Lovely couple ..very informative .. one question How about sprinkler ?should I block them?
Thank you so much! And you do not need to touch your sprinklers. Touching them may actually set them off if you break the little glass cylinder in them.
@@RaptorRenovation ok thanks for the prompt response Helps tremendously! Good night!
Hi, I read that you wrote that you don't have to turn off any pilot lights to the gas heater or stove...just wondering though that since you just closed on the house, was the gas meter connected? The directions said to turn off pilot lights.
We did not.. and no boom... but always follow the box instructions!
You two are hilarious 😂😂😂
Thanks!!
Can i just turn off the power at the breaker box and what do i do about the water heater will shutting the power off work?
I would not worry about shutting the power off to your house to use these. It is a dry fog so it doesn't create enough moisture in the air to cause any electrical issues. The only concern I would have is if you are doing it very concentrated and have a pilot light in the room
What can I do if I put too many foggers in car and now ac keeps smelling like those chemicals even though I have aired car out for 3 days
Most cars have a cabin air filter. I would suggest try replacing your cabin air filter and see if that helps. If that still doesn't work then it may just take time because one of those bug bombs is good for 2,000 cubic feet and a car is probably only 120 cubic feet... so it was SUPER concentrated.
Did you guys have to turn off the water heater ? Mine is outside in a closet I’m wondering if I have to turn it off
We did not turn off our hot water heater.
Do I have to move my furniture out before doing this? I live in a apartment complex and the bugs are bad over here
Nope! You can leave all your furniture in place. It will actually be good since it will kills bugs that are living in your furniture.
Howdy! Is this the only brand? The strongest? I don't care about it dispersing quick because it's an attic.
Thank you!
There are tons of brands and I am sure there are stronger ones out there. But, this is a good product to start with and see. If it doesn't do a good enough job then you may want to call a professional bug guy.
Will this kill any eggs as well?
I just buying a home i was thinking of doing this just in case , do they set off smoke detectors ? what kind of bugs were in there i was wondering , im trying to beware of all this before hand. thanks for sharing
It will not set off smoke alarms and will kill a wide range of household bugs!
@@RaptorRenovation that is good to know then . Thanks for getting back ~
Did you guys any work in the crawl space after bombing it? If so, did the bomb kill everything?
We did work down there after and it was much better than before. A lot less spiders and cave crickets.
@@RaptorRenovation I read on the fogger's website that it doesnt kill brown recluse or black widows. Those are the main ones I'm worried about!
Next time, wear a n95 or p100 when detonating the foggers
Thankyou. I want to throw bug bombs under my mobile home for spiders :) Now I will proceed. Maybe 2 for a 20x60? hmm
That’s MAD WEIRD. Today is July 2nd and I’m looking for this product
Today is July 2 and I watching this video to see how to use it
Same
So we all had bug problem’s on the same day.
did u remove food from refrigerator clothes and furniture like couch/ beds
Nope, you can use these without emptying your home.
Yall are the bugs 🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣
I'll take the Idaho spuds 🤣
Can i turn the aircon on so it circulates the spray around the house?
You should have the bug bombs placed in the large rooms and in the hallway (with the doors open). This will allow the vapor to go everywhere. Using the HVAC to circulate the fogger is overkill.
Do you have to unplug the refrigerator
Nope! Keep that fridge plugged in or you will end up with a thawed out freezer.
Did you guys only do one treatment? How long did you keep it closed up, 1/2 a day, or more?
We did one treatment and we kept it closed up for about half a day before airing it out. It lasted 6ish months
So the roaches showed up after 6 months😱
Maybe from a neighbor’s house?
If you live in a multi-unit building then these things will not help at all. You need to get the property manager to exterminate the entire complex because as long as one unit has bugs then all of the units will have bugs.
No, You stated, “it lasted 6 months.” I was clarifying if the roaches came back after then.
@@AnthonyWrenn I want to know the same thing ur asking.
Did yall have to turn off the main gas to the house?
No, that would be a bit overkill for using the bug bomb.
Will this product work on carpet Beatles?
Hmm... it may, would have to read the packaging to see if it does. I wouldn't see why not!
Why am I holding my breath watching this?
🤣
They smelled it thooo🤣🤣
Do I have to like unplugged everything
Nope! You are good!
How many days do you have to be out the house? Does it leave residue or smell in the fabric of anything??? Do you wash everything after?
It is best to stay out for at least two hours before returning and opening up all the windows to air out the home. There is also no weird smells or the need to clean everything after.
When I had an apt in Jersey yrs ago. I still had pots n pans in the cupboards . After the fogging I took out all the pots , pans, and utensils and washed them all thoroughly. Same thing with counter tops. I washed them and the tabletop down .. just in case. Hope this helps.
@@RaptorRenovation Are you kidding me? This is literally poison and you are saying there is no need to clean anything??????? TOOTHBRUSH, BRUSH, CLOTHES THAT ARE BOMBED? ARE YOU NUTS? Silent killer right there. Just because you don't die instantly doesn't mean harmful shit is happening. Wtf?
@@judydavenport9636 Exactly anything you eat or USE YOU NEED TO CLEAN.. or just TAKE IT out of the house so you don't gotta worry bout cleaning like AC... fans anything you always use because even after cleaning those filters how are you certain all the poison is gone for good? exactly you aren't. People NEVER think of these things.
@@judydavenport9636 thats a good idea some say they take all that out of the house put in the car or garage till its over. so many things to think about on this ..
do you have to take everything out of the cabinet before you do it ??
The emptier the better!
@@RaptorRenovation thank youu
@@jeremiahsamuel2050 i saw something about put it in the car or garage if you have one or you might have to wash all that stuff , just dont want any chemicals on dishes or pans
Im having a ant and spider issue at my house, I’ve debating between bombing and just calling a exterminator. When I had someone over at my house they seen a spider and told me it was a brown recluse which is why I can’t decide. Also, if you leave stuff in your cabinets like plates do you need to wash all of them?
If you have ants and spiders I would not suggest using a bug bomb.
@@RaptorRenovation why not?
Because there are better solutions out there like any traps. And spiders are usually coming in from the outside so sealing up air gaps in the house is a better solution than just a bug bomb.
@@RaptorRenovationis it just not worth the health risk bombing black widows?
Does anyone know if this product successfully eradicate moths???? -- sounds ridiculous, but I have a genuine phobia and live in Colorado and the annual moth season is starting... They're more resilient and oddly aggressive this year.. will appreciate any advice! Truly need some form of peace of mind beach 😰
This should kill any moths!!
Will the affect neighbors if in a condo?
It all depends on how well built your condo is. As long as you do not have any shared air vents then you should be fine. But always good to give them a heads up in case the see or smell something in their unit.
Now someone explain to me why I started holding my own breath
I have a earwig problem at my house they hide in the carpets, use a bug bomb I guess?
It is a good, inexpensive first try! If it doesn't work then call in the professionals.
Not me holding my breath as they release the foggers
🤣🤣
Did it end up working? Were they all gone
It did work well! We were bug free for about 6ish months
What it you already moved your furniture in
You can still use them!
How long before you can go back in the house and not smell it ?
Waiting two hours before going back in is the minimum amount of time and be sure to open some windows to let it all air out if going in that soon.
Should of yelled “Grenade” at the end lol
Lol
Yell, “Fire in the Hole!” when throwing it under the house.
This is funny as hell I’m high as hell and I’m bout to really do this shit
😶🌫️
Do I have to turn the fridge & stove off?
Nopers don't need to
@@RaptorRenovation k, thnx
The one you threw stopped guaranteed. The caps are weak and pop when dropped or thrown
Surprisingly it didn't, we could still hear it going after being thrown.
Does this work ?
It sure does! It isn't a permanent resolution but will clear up bugs for 2-3 months.
My dad bug bombed our house and there are now more bigger spiders than in our basement than usual.
I would suggest a second round of bug bombing.
Heaven! Better not be no bugs there! Uhhhnnuhh.
Do you turn the gas off?
We did not, if you follow the instruction on the number of cans to use for the size of your home then you shouldn't have any issues.
Since you inhaled did you experience any symptoms? I did and now my tongue is tingly and throat is irritated. I left smoke alarms inside after unplugging them and so I had to go back in and grab them all and run fast, i called the medical emergency number on the label and they said im fine but wondering how long till symptoms go away
Also, for anyone else that does the same thing i did, dont do what i did. If you leave smoke alarms and they go off just figure out the number to the company that monitors the alarms and let them know your bombing the house so they dont call the fire department. I wish I knew that before hand, shouldve done more research but its not something people clarify in case of accidents like in my situation
Yeah... sounds like you went into a room already filled with the gas... Don't do that.
You should probably go hit up an urgent care anyways. 😬
Did y’all turn off stove pilot if electric?
With this type of fogger you do not have to turn off any pilot lights.
*See when you do that you need "HIGH YIELD" to spray the yard and outside of the house... Leave the insects with no where to run!*
Does it work on termites?
Noooo you need professional help for termites.
@@RaptorRenovation what about gnats
@@browneyez8043 should help!
Can I put it on one room
You can set a can off in one room but it will go into other rooms through your air ducting and under the door.
You're supposed to shake it before you set it off 😂 Nex time
Ehh... details.... lolz
Wh didn't you se t G e crawlspace door?
Because it is a vented crawl space so having the door open didn't make that big of a difference.
Did it work?
Yep!!!
Hey I know this is a 2 year old video, but what if you have a AC unit in the room you are bombing?
Hey! It is never too late to comment with a question!
You will be fine if you have an AC vent in the window. Make sure it is sealed well around the window opening and turned off. Then bomb away!
@@RaptorRenovation thank you 🙏
She so cute
Yess
No aftermath content
I know right. Main reason I clicked this video lol
Both have moved on due to inhalation of gases from the foggers. Sorry...☠
Geez that lady body was FIT! NICE!
No one ever compliments that dudes fit body... he workouts too.. 🤣
@@RaptorRenovation Umm try harder lmao!
*LMAO!!!! He said, "here we go BUG BOOM" when she set one off... CORNY* ...............I would have did the same
WAMP wamp wamppppppppp
Awkward couple
Aww thanks! It takes years of hard work to keep the awkward love alive in a marriage. 🥰
Actually a cute married couple
Hilarious,
Definitely raised by grandparents
What does that even mean?
hella shoulders
where is you mask? you suppose to use it when do this.
You should always wear safety glasses and a mask! Do as we say not as we do 😝
Ever thought about wearing a mask?
Nah... masks are for the weak.
***you should always wear a mask when working with chemicals***
That was cute but why not cover your nose and mouth with a mask beforehand?
Because we are rebels!!! 😎
JK... always wear protective gear when using chemicals.
welp guess im moving.. lmao this isnt real right... like wait... fr? lol *puffs * then goes for it. welp f it.
Aren't you supposed to turn off electricity and close windows? The lights were left on and I'm pretty sure that's an open window at 3:43 😯
Windows are closed and no need to turn off your electricity for this fogger.
you guys couldnt be more awkward
Thanks!! 🤣🤣
@@RaptorRenovation lol.
One word for you: Respirator
Truth!
This thing can make you very sick too
For sure! If you dutch oven yourself with one then get ready for a sickly ride!!
6:04 seconds of my life I'll never get back..
If you submit Form-37T then we will process it as soon as possible to return 6 mins and 4 seconds of your time back to you. Thanks! 🍻
damn, for someone who clearly disliked the video you sure watched a lot of it.
wow hes HOT
😳
she must work out
He*
You need to wear mask and eye protection and gloves
Correct! Follow safety instructions!
I'm not a fan of these hot shot foggers, you would think they would have better directions on the can as to how to activate it, the directions say to "pull the tab back" well then I would assume the tab would only go one way correct ? well i pulled the tab back and the damn think squirted me right in the face I then put the damn can down on the floor and it immediately tipped over and started spraying right across the floor ! I pulled the tab toward me so you would think if the tab worked correctly and only can be pulled in one direction the spray would come out the opposite side FAIL, RIGHT IN THE FACE !
Sorry to hear that... but gosh I wish that was on video so we could watch it all on a loop 🤣🤣🤣
@@RaptorRenovation it was a defective fogger the gas didn't spray out the top but only on the side , thus when I placed the fogger on the ground it immediately tipped over and sprayed on the ground not into the air as intended. I do have it on video !
post it we all wanna see lmfao@@jixxxxer17
Now, wait-why is SHE the one risking herself? C'mon, man. lol
We buy one and a did not work is was kind wast of money
It’s definitely works you must have a big infestation
@@tybrenee1234 😂😂😂😂😂😂
For it to work you should have everything out of the house (as much as you can). Everything should be OPENED...for example: little toy boxes, totes, etc. and every room should go have a bomb. Including the attic, crawlspace, laundry room, garage, etc.
Masks? Lmao
😷
Wear a mask next time
It is always a good idea to wear a mask! Sometimes we just live on the edge :P
Holy crap, get to the point. I'll take my search for knowledge elsewhere...
Totally! Those two just babble on and on... it is like come on just read the instructions on the package and call it good! That entire video could be done in like 20 seconds!
disappointed 😞 one bomb for each room and close each door with a rag towel on bottom crack opening. wear a mask and proper clothing and latex gloves too. sad
Aww why are you disappointed?? 🙁
Y'all did NOT do that right at all. Windows shut, one in each room with the door CLOSED to each room.
One in each room???? You are crazy! If you put one in each room than you would be using 5-10x too many foggers for the sq/ft of your home. Each can can cover 2,000 sq/ft of open space so when you account for various home layouts 2-3 cans can cover an entire home.
Get to the point
It took so long to get to the point that half way through I thought I was filming a Food Network show on how to make pumpkin pie! 😎
Annoying
Ditto
That was NOT educational at all I did not learn one thing and just wasted my time on video
Totally!! Why on earth does this video even exist on this world!?!?!?! Where is the content going over the chemicals in the spray and how they interact with the respiratory track of a Eastern Claw Beatle!! It is like I should go and read the package itself or something! Stupidest video ever. Wasting the life of all Americans watching it!!
You guys took not serious what you arw doing, don't be famous in youtube, be smart and no play fool
We did it? No she did it. This guy is such a lame.
Ohh man... that was harsh. What did I ever do to you? 😭😭😭
