- Today well talking about the Theatre Des Vampires, one of the most unique, crazy, surreal theatres to ever appear in any book let alone the Vampire Chronicles series. Of course what made this theatre of darkness so unique in the first place was the vampires who ran it and what they actually did while staging plays for their human audiences. It’s also the main stay location of the second season of interview with the vampire the tv series where we see a lot more detail as to what exactly went on there, how it worked and what the overall goal of its productions truly were.

Hey everyone I don’t know what the hell happened with the end of the video.. I’m really sorry
I hope you are going to finish the rest of this video in another video!
If I may, do you think there's enough material in the books to explain the vampire Santiago?
Shit happens.
@@BigTimeShowdown Too often.
It's okay...just like the guy above me in this thread already said:
Shit Happens!
Video was great, as always!
❤🤩🎉
Did the last minute also cut out for anyone else?
Same

Don’t know why the video went completely out right after the part of the burning theater, but things happen.. I still wasn’t going to leave without hitting the like button
I really like the illustrations in this video
I read the book when I was younger(22yrs ago) and don't remember Claudia having her head removed and put on another body to weaken her...? I remember her having Louie turn a woman for her but the age was the defining reason Armand was able to let her be killed. Anyway your videos are great respect to you 💯
Hey it’s revealed later in the vampire Armand book.. thank you ❤️
@@VampireFolkloreVideosI would like to see this in the series…and Louis’ reaction finding out. :/
The coven killed her as punishment for supposedly destroying Lestat, but Armand wanted her dead because she was a rival for Louis's affection.
@@VampireFolkloreVideos Just found your channel.. I've only read 1,2 & 3.. my disclaimer for my own understanding and reasoning for these Characters as I know only one version etc...
The Series Adaptation is, in my opinion, after watching 4 episodes...
I can understand some of the departures/changes done with regards to Time (era), Appearance, except for one, The one Unique and powerful trait of these Vampires was, the strength and Bond between them meant More because they were devoid of Sexual gratification, Which is Trivial, Human, Weakens the relationship, adding envy, lust, jealousy only makes it a Soap Opera.. instead of unique to this World Anne Rice created...
Call them companions or married if you want...
Lover's?... Distorts the best feature of them...
Since they could not, nor desired Sexual gratification....
Claudia and Louis, since she's in her mid 80s.. trapped in the Child.. her mind is aged, her Need to stay with Louis is.. Not as a Lover,, this need to add Sex to the Story.. complicates it...
Cheers from Southern California...
I thought how cruel for her. She was given no choice. Louie is truly Heartbroken. And it could of been stopped!! But no children are to be made.
Her character within the Book, my opinion is done well in the Film adaptation...
Except her age.. being 5...
As Louis recalls the experience of, giving in to Blood Lust, he can't end her life, as her Pounding Heart, fights Death,,
It's horrific, Her life with them, also the Travel to the Olde World.. Trapped inside the Same Child... Her Mind is of a Woman.. roughly mid 80s by the time she is punished...
Her story is unique and Tragic....
Lestat did tell Louie , he would regret turning Claudia , for the rest of his life . He was not wrong
Magnus was a surprisingly thoughtful maker in leaving all his things to Lestat, teaching him what he needed to know and then just leaving. He could have easily turned him and then offed himself but he made sure his child had what he needed.
My assumption is, with full respect, this is from the Series Adaptation?...
The Book.. Threatens Lestat with a Curse of he doesn't spread His ashes..
Takes Lestat.. probably by observing him before.. he's attacked... Similar to Louis.. etc..
I don't know about the rest of your subscribers, but I REALLY think that AMC's Interview With The Vampire needs a season 3!! I just watched the season finale, and Oh My Goddess, it was phenomenal!!!! They can't end the series like this, which I'm sure they aren't going to, but the acting was SO GOOD!! I got weepy watching the scene between Lestat and Louis, and I'm not going to say anymore and ruin it for everybody, you just have to watch it for yourselves!!!
There's a plan for a season three, which means we're likely getting Lestat's first book now.
@@jatribbett I can't wait!
Love your voice
Please make a video about Daniel and his life story, I love your videos!
I get so excited when I see these
This coven seems to also believe that their 5 Great Laws is towards all vampires, and not their's alone.
I wanna watch the TV Show so badly. Sadly it is no where to be found in germany. Amazon does not have season 2 :/
You could check if your local library has copies that's how I managed to watch the show I heard the show will be on Netflix in a few months
There is probably a Region 0 DVD out there somewhere. I don’t really trust steaming anymore. Or you could get that app that helps you log in as a different country. Never tried that.
That’s not even fair this season was incredible
Sadly, the TV series is worse garbage than the film adaptations...
Lies! it's an excellent production
You couldn't be anymore WRONG. The TV series is insanely well done. I've watched each episode at least 3 times each.
@ScifiGuy your absolutely right!! It's someone else's fan fiction, you want the true experience read the books or watch the movie. This TV show is cringe 😬
Completely disagree. Enhancement on the books even.
totally agree. I hate it. so woke to a suffocating point. the movie, however, will always be my all time favorite film.
claudia in the new amc series is a bit older but still a child.
Like the Film adaptation.. making Her older.. made sense for.. Acting range etc....
It's still.. tragic even if she's not..
5 or younger in the Book...
She's roughly mid 80s in years..
That always made her story Interesting.. Trapped inside the Same Child.. with the Mind of a Woman....
Horrifying/Tragedy...
I was always told She represented the Daughter Anne Rice lost....
uh it just cuts to black at the last minute, FYI. this is why you watch things after uploading them. QC
QC?
