- Aro is never happy with what he has and always seeks to increase numbers so he can increase power. Not all vampires openly accept an invitation to join the Volturi willingly, as they would normally be part of a coven already. It’s at that point where the volturi coincidently discover law breaking within the coven that holds the gifted vampire he wants and well, we all know what happens then. Despite Aros little routine normally being successful, there are 8 vampires who rejected his invitation and lived to tell the tale along with the coven the belong to remaining unharmed. Let’s take a look at 8 Vampires who rejected Aro's Volturi Invite.

You're missing out then. He's amazing in Good Omens and was good in Prodigal Son. Honestly, he elevates anything he's in. Really Billy Burke and Michael Sheen's performances are what make these movies worth a watch.

Actually, they don’t have someone that knows when they’re lying. I can’t really imagine Aro would want that ability because he’s been lying to Marcus for centuries
Aro can tell when someone else is lying when he is touching you because he can read minds by touch. He doesn't need or want a lie detector because of your point and because he can basically do it himself.
@@anastasiawortham8833 true. But he is limited in the fact that he has to be touching them. That’s why (in the book) Bella wanted to go to Italy alone to prove she’d become a vampire. She knew she was the only one who could resist the Volturi gifts (even if she didn’t know why at this point) and she wanted to protect Renesmee from Aro. Not because of the Immortal Child thing (the Cullen’s hadn’t even considered her resemblance to one), but because she knew Aro would want her for himself.

There’s a vampire who has that gift. Lie detection. She’s the little girl from the Irish coven. The leader of that coven also has a strong gift too, Outcome manipulation.
I so have to re read this series I haven't read since I was 14 and I just turned 30 😅
Alice's power gives me chills I love twilight so much
The cullens have to be one of the most powerful covens to ever exist for its time the amount of gifted vampires they have and how powerful they are is crazy Edward, Alice, Renesmee and Bella. Alice with her ability to see the future, Edward with his mind reading without touching, renesmee with her ability to force herself past any defence and god knows what else she could do as she grows and trains she could potentially even copy other abilities by reading what they can do and Bella being the most powerful shield and only trained for a couple months and she could project images Edward’s mind as well.
Her powers are a mixture of her parents that's for sure
@@beverlyarcher3744 yep she essentially has a flipped version of her parents powers especially Bella where her powers keep people out no one can keep renesmee out even a shield as powerful as Bella and she can read peoples minds the moment she touches them like her father.

Jasper is gifted as well, don't forget. He's an empath who influences emotions. Not even Bella could shield herself from him.
This was a Really Great Video for The Volturi. The Volturi were The Only Vampires to actually Look, Act and Feel like Actual Vampires. Hey Vampire Folklore could please make a video about the origins of Aro?

Benjamin is like Aang and Korra. I like Renesmee's Tactile Thought Projection, for if that was real and everybody had it, we may not read eachother but sending our thoughts out will help to understand what somebody is trying to tell u. If I had a speacial gift that was coveted by Aro, I would b able to permanently copy the powers of other, but can also "deny" them if I don't want that ability anymore.
That guy appeared in Life and Death, the gender bent Twilight where Marcus had a happy ending and Aro was destroyed and his power transferred.
Loved the video, I also love to see how much knowledge you have of the history in the Twilight world. Maybe you could do a video were you give your own opinion oon the Volturi and wether you think they are a just ruling coven, I would love to hear your opinion..

Renesmee isn't the first half vampire half human born in a millenia, the other dude Alice brought was born 150yrs before. A millenia is 1000yrs.

Those who rejected Aro- 1 Alice 2 Benjamin 3 Edward 4 The Shape Shifters 5 Kate 6 Bella 7 Renessme and 8 Zefrina Yes these are people who would reject him. You forgot Carlyle and Emmett. Carlyle (to my knowledge) is the only vampire who joined them and left. Emmett is strong. I do mean extremely strong. I read all the books. I would love for a new book to be written about a grown up Renessme and Jacob- their story and their children. I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing it.

Heidi was originally one of the few female vampires that knew Victoria and was in a coven with Victoria and Victoria's older sister Anne
The Volturi took out most of the Egyptian coven which had Demetri but only ones that survived were Amun and Kebi
I mean yes he somewhat did that with his personal guard Renata but Aro didn't end Renata's family they willingly gave her to Aro because Luca (Renata great uncle) didn't want to loose his family

I like Renesmee she sounds like a good vampire-human hybrid and a great addition to the Cullen Clan
I have difficulty with Michael Sheen being cast here. He made a name for himself earlier in the Underworld series as a Lucan/werewolf. Furthermore the makeup and hair in Twilight series was deplorable. Haven’t red the books. I may to see if they redeem this train wreck.

The volturi DO have a vampire that can blind you... Jane the pains twin brother Alec has the ability to block all a persons senses to see, hear, smell, taste and feel your body, it's clearly not very well explained in the movies. They use him for torture and catching runners.
Right? Aro has powerful people already but he just didn't realize that or how to use them to his advantage in a fight
@@Bittyboo14 the problem was Bella. Her shield ability. She's not susceptible to any of the powers he's collected, not even Alec. So as a vampire with the ability to use her shield on others she rendered them all useless against anyone under her protection, the only vampire with an ability that can be the direct cause of Bella's downfall with their power is Benjamin. And he's on her side, protected by her shield, he's also a peaceful person in general and aro has no interest in someone with those powers because it's too noticeable to use the environment like that for battles, causing random natural disasters like earthquakes and flooding for a fight between vampires with the technology around today could get unwanted Satellite attention.
There's not a lot of ways to get around Bella's shield and every way around it involves killing her, which he doesn't want to do because he thinks he can collect her somehow later, he wants Bella as bad as he wants Alice. And I'm pretty sure he's actually dumb enough to try to get both of them in the future but he will not accept Edward, Jasper or renesmee so Bella will never work for him and if she doesn't choose it it simply will not happen. If he killed her family there's no way to control her, he'd have to kill her and Alice would probably demand Bella kill Alice before she attacks Aro so aro gets nothing out of the fight. He wants to do something, But unless he finds something that can get through Bellas shield without killing her he's never going to actually get what he wants out of the fight.
tbh i dont know what the government could do against vamps with super speed, unique abilities like fucking superheros and basically no weakness the vamps can pretty much take over the world and they have forever to do so but i guess the government can try nuking the shit out of vampire hotspots idk
Twilight vampires have one strategic weakness; they're severely outnumbered by humanity. Hence keeping the secret is the highest law.

@@Jenifer_R_it wouldn’t do. It’s why vampires tear other vampires apart then burn the body. Vampires run so fast that they can put out a fire if they’re burning. So while they’re highly flammable fire doesn’t really do any harm unless they’re unable to run/put it out. It’s why the scene where Jane throws the vampire child in the bon fire didn’t make sense to us book readers. because it literally could’ve just got up and ran away lol.

That could be interesting. Theres a lot of backstory there. The wars with the transylvanians and the eqyptions. Propaganda campaign to make vampires seem like a myth. Discovering/recruiting Jane and Alec.

That's the difference between him and I. He saw the visions, and saw how he would lose the battle. I in the other hand, would now know what the other side is capable of and there's skills/strategy's. Then use it to my advantage, quickly eliminate the thre we have captive. And start the battle but giving orders to counter the other team. Or leave and return with a bigger force of skilled vampires.

but you're not considering Edward. Alice can predict that, Edward can read her mind to see the change, Edward can also read Aro's mind and so on. It would be a battle of the minds and Aro would be at a disadvantage every time.

Just like his battle with Felix and the Big Black Wolf. Also you can't use book Edward for your case. Since both the movie and the books are different universes. Also get rid of the girl who see the future first. and Edward would be to menially brake even his read minds and focus. Making him make mistakes, during battle.

There are so many things that aren't true. The only two vampires from the books that were asked are Edward and mainly Alice. No others are asked in the films or books. I appreciate your ideas but this just isn't true.
Would love Jasper for his control of emotion and Dr Callens back into his circle as he was once so close there is a picture of them all together back in the early days of bring a vampire in the Cullen's home.
Im going to somewhat disagree. I think Bella should be higher on the list. Even higher than Edward. He has a gift himself, that is similar to Edward. Theres differences and makes him want Edward for those gifts. But he has something similar. Not as much needed as Bella.
Bella, made them fight. Actually fight. She could stop Jane and her brother. They blind them with pain and nothingness, so the fight is easy and done with, without any of them getting hurt. And pardon whos thoughts were "repetitive". Bella changed all of that. He has no one exactly like her. Bella and Alice would make him almost unstoppable.
But Bella has that perk if he got her, he'd get Edward and Renesmae. Again, making him even stronger.
He was supposed to look intimidating but that face and hair didn't help much 😂. Casting mistake.

In the books Marcus is way younger, turned at 18 or 19 I think, same with aro. It’s switched in the books, Marcus and aro are the young ones and Caio’s is the older looking one. I wonder why they switched it
@@theredmistiscoming609 I remember reading a little about Marcus, he was married to Aro’s sister and they were planning on leaving and Aro had his sister killed to keep Marcus from leaving. Marcus had the gift of reading people.

Nope. Vamps can put themselves back together even after being cut in half. A light sabre will only kill a vamp if it burns them completely. And they don't breathe, so Darth Vader cutting off the oxygen is moot.
