The Best Smoothie Recipe:
1.75 - 2 cups of water - it has lines on the container to reference
1 Handful of spinach
Half an avocado
2 Celery stalks
1 Banana
1 apple
5 strawberries
Handful of blueberries
Handful of oats
Scoop of peanut butter or a handful of almonds for protein
Two dashes of cinnamon
One dash of cayenne pepper
Little sprinkle of bee pollen

Hey man. Great video. You did a great job with the shooting, editing and the humor! I've been looking at a Vitamix and holding out for Black Friday to see what they're going to offer. As you mentioned in your "cons" section, the noise and the super cheap knob are deal killers for me on this model. I've never owned a Vitamix but man, are there plenty of "they don't make them liked they used to" reviews out there. I like to read 3 star to 1 star reviews because someone is bound to be telling the truth there. But even the 4 star and 5 star reviews have something to say about the Vitamix products being super overpriced and not worth the money. I'm like you in that I'll probably just use it for smoothies, I mean, I can't imagine making a soup in the damn thing. I seem to be leaning toward the 5200 -- I'll just have to drown out all of those "they don't make them liked they used to" voices in my head.

So I'm not sure how they used to make them, but at least you can buy with confidence knowing that they have a loooong warranty on them for an appliance. It's quite impressive that they have that much faith in their products.
I'm a stickler on touch-points, so the cheap knobs suck, but, man, this thing really has been a game-changer in regards to filling all the nutrition gaps I had in my diet. It's so easy to make a super nutritious smoothie that tastes delicious. I'm confident you'll be happy you bought one. Waiting till Black Friday is the move!

Working in a restaurant, I have seen the Ninja blender got burnt out sometimes when we tried to grind raw peanuts.

I just got mine and agree it is beautiful, but so damn loud. So loud I may need to return it , as I’m in an apartment and leave for work quite early. So disappointed by that.
It's a predicament, I know. It's a beast of a machine but for apartment-dwellers, or early risers (me included), it might be too loud. I've read that the higher end models might be quieter, but I'm unsure by how much.
Noise aside - I love it, and it's been a game changer for me.
My Ninja blender is so loud I’m scared of it.
