Hello, great video! Question, I am very interested in Luminar. I use Adobe creative cloud and I am switching Lightroom Classic to Lightroom CC to manage my images. I still plan on keeping Classic around. Am I correct to assume Luminar can be installed as a Plugin for Lightroom Classic or Photoshop, but not for Lightroom CC? Also do you see any advantages of installing Luminar as a standalone app as opposed to a plugin? Once I stabilize my lightroom repository I plan on migrating from a 3-year-old Windows computer to a Mac Studio. I am a software engineer and photography is a favorite hobby since I received a Canon TX many years ago. Keep up the great work. Thanks
Now that I can create presets and copy masks, I have started to use Neo. An "issue" I noticed with presets and I guess any other editing you do in Neo is that you edits do not effect future edit. i.e. my preset has some various general edits like Enhance, Structure, Color etc... Then I add a sky replacement...none of the previous edits from the preset get applied to the sky. Only edits after the "add sky" step get applied to the sky. There appears to be no way to reorder the edit steps either. Any suggestions?
No timeline yet however if you do a layer mask it will remove the background automatically. For example if you open a portrait image, import the same image on another layer and create a mask in the layer properties, select human and the background will be removed. Decent work around until the feature comes out.
I really like your reviews and tutorials. However Luminar Neo is so slow on a top end Desktop Windows PC that is almost unusable. On the same PC, Lightroom CC, DXO photopab 5 and Capture One 22 really flies. This is my 3rd luminar purchase, so disappointed that even after 3 generations od software they are almost still at performance of their offering.
Thanks for your comment. I had the same experience with all previous luminar versions on windows (LR and Capture One running well on same computer). Seems like it did not improve unfortunately. As long as this continues, I will not open my purse for any of their products
I am a bit confused. I do not presently have Luminar Neo installed. I have a 5-year-old PC with Luminar AI installed and it works with ZERO lags (unless you use the erase button and ned to wait a few seconds). I thought the reports on Neo were that it was faster than Luminar AI.
It may be my imagination or image content.but bringing up an image to edit it would take awhile t go from blurry to sharp. Now it it much faster on the edit i did today. also it seems to download faster
Luminar Neo should simply support the languages of all NATO countries, and those that have applied to NATO. NO SOVIET RUSSIAN LANGUAGE OR EVEN ACCESS TO BUYING OR PIRATING THE PROGRAM! 🤬😡

When will they add OM-1 ‘orf’ RAW files to the Program?
Do you know when they will add the OM System OM-1 camera support to Luminar Neo?

When are they going to add the ability to make your own presets 😞
Already there
If I open to NEO from Photoshop, then Crop AI is missing. Doesn’t make sense.
We need dodge and burn. Also cloning and layers. The rest is all not need it.
I thonk using develop twice, one time for darkening and one time for lightening is even better than dodge and burn and is available…
