It was an elderly couple who first saw this dog lying in a field, alone. They felt sorry for it and searched for an organization to help it.
The organization they found was us.. DAR team.
The same couple who first found her is the one who offered her foster.
They said.. She can stay with us, we are elderly too and we can feel her needs.
They made me cry...
Her name now is Liza and she has a home to the end of her life.

Horrible! Being abandoned is bad enough. Without food and water is even worse. Being deaf and blind and being completely helpless and unable to find food or help is traumatic! This dog was clearly left to die. Getting rid of a living soul and not giving a damn about the resposibility you have for your animal. There are so many other things you could do. Find a new home, ask a vet, contact a shelter, use social media, ask for help if you cannot care for an animal for whatever reason. Even putting her to sleep seems more humane to me than to leave her alone with NOTHING but fear and pain!!!!!! I am totally mad at those people!! Thank god Ermioni found her!!!!. I'm going to donate again today!!!! This is unbearable!
I am grateful for the elderly couple who took her in. I have a soft spot for seniors - dogs and humans. God bless them.

I always feel so angry when people abandon helpless dogs knowing they can't survive alone. These people have no souls. Thank goodness the couple found her and she can now live her final years with care from decent human beings. Thank you all.

I don't know if anything works that way. Just anecdote I know, not science, but.... whenever I have needed help in my car it has been a poor brown person who stops and takes all the time needed to change the wheel or whatever, never once a white person in an expensive car. I live in Auckland, and it is Maori or Polynesians who stop. I've formulated the hypothesis that people who drive expensive cars are rubbish.

Thankful that she has a foster home. Senior dogs are the ones that get me the worst! They are the best dogs I have 3. Bet the people who abounded her will expect someone to take extra care of them in their old age!😡
