👍💯...Wow...very interesting info. They would be a definite "conversation piece" for out-of-towners". Some of the pillars don't look too safe, and especially with the vines sending roots into the existing cracks, its only speeding up the erosion process. Thanks for sharing. 💙
Hi! I once travelled that way a few times a year into Scarborough for business. I always wondered why the pillars were like that. Thanks for answering ! It’s interesting. 👍😊🇨🇦
Amazing I abosuletly did not know this, Sally you bring us so much important history live and deeeply interesting, next time I am there I will watch it closely, should be soon as I got my visas.
I never knew this. I've driven down there and stopped at that Canadian Tire. Some street art would be cool, rather than just plain concrete. Thanks for sharing!
Quite the historical photos! Interesting that the photos are preserved, and on display. Toronto is a great city. Nice catch at the 10 second mark, of a rare orange Volvo C30 🧡
I remember when I lived in Toronto in the late 80s it always smelt like dirty diapers in that area. Hopefully that’s not there again thanks again for sharing Sally.
@@bradpalmer3724 Not dirty diapers but on warm smuggy days there is a stench that permeates through that stretch of the city. Enjoy your weekend Brad 🙂
Thank you Sally the walking, talking ,Toronto encyclopedia! Keep up the fine work!

I was wondering about the safety of the pillars as well Kitty. The cracking is concerning, the city has left them but with no upkeep.
Wow beautiful sharing sister ❤❤❤❤❤
