Um, like, why is it called Jacks? Jack is predominantly a male name. This perpetuation of the patriarchy is highly problematic. To be more inclusive the game should be referred to as “Tiny Caltrop Grabbing after Bouncing a Sphere” because ball is too closely associated with male reproductive organs.

Hey Zack, I've been re-reading through the 80's Legion of Super-Heroes comics lately. For over a year half the creative team was female. Mindy Newell was writing, Karen Berger was the editor, and Jenette Kahn was the publisher. It was an excellent book and NO ONE made a big deal about it.

My first and only experience with live action D&D was: Me and my regular group of friends (around 17-18) were sitting around the one guys house having a few beers and deciding what to do and just shooting the breeze like a normal weekend for us during our school years, the other guys start talking about D&D and I say I've never tried it aside for in pc games, so we're deciding what to do and since I said I had never tried it someone suggest we play a game of D&D and it's 3 people including me for D&D and the 1 guy wants to hit a pub (we'll call him A). We spend maybe 20-30 minutes making characters and the other guys help me with my sheet, I make a ranger I think and A makes a chaotic evil warrior with a two-handed sword or something, one guy is the gamemaster since he's usually that and we start it out with the gamemasters brother taking his actions then we move on to A, he decides as his first action to swing his two handed sword and cut my head off because he wants to go to the pub instead, rolls a 20 and succeeds...and I died of course. the end.

One of my best memories in D&D: Classic Underdark adventure, I was the DM, players had to help the notorious NPC Drizzt Do'Urden through the lair of a Deep Dragon. They were discussing strategies with Drizzt (played obviously by me) when a black friend called him the N-word /because he is a dark elf) I, on the other hand, am white. It's amazing a game where you get to choose whatever race/gender/class you want to be, is not diverse enough. Heck, if she has a problem with it, talk to the latest season of Stranger Things. In Stranger Things, they literally allude to it being "for children" because Will wanted to play, but the others were "beyond" it. Then Will dumps his game as his progression. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
From what I understand about people playing d&d they don't really gives one single shit who you are, or what you are or even what you think you are, do you want to play yes or no is the only thing they care about. I'm sure that if I found a group in my town they would welcome me and help me learn the rules. These people are sick, like you say, they see people having fun and want to destroy it. Never been more convinced about it than now.
I did play DnD and it is odd how they are trying to do this is through online resources. People using the resource cannot have male only groups but can have women only groups. They also attack anyone that tries to apply realism. In the medieval ages there would be knights who were male and the armies would be male because that is how our middle ages were. They attack this as mysognist and so force GM's to cater to their idea of how it should work. They are putting this into the books as well. It used to be that male and female characters had different statistics.. Usually men got +2 Strength and Women +2 Charisma but there were many variations on the theme, some race specific. Now that is banned. The problem is that they can't really control what you do if you use table top manual docs. This is why this women is making these kind of virtue signaling speeches. She thinks people are just going to fall in line. Many people are abandoning DnD and going to other gaming systems where this stuff is not as prevalent or just using 3.5 or Pathfinder. They also, thinking this would get girls to play because even today most women don't play Dnd compared to men, took to writing the book in the annoying standard of using she instead of he for a generic pronoun. While this is not bothersome from a social standpoint because we are trained to use he as a general term when you read she you keep trying to figure out who specifically they are referencing. You have to keep reminding yourself that oh that's the generic he now. Still they are probably controlling it with the RPG societies where you have league characters that play in set adventures with approved rewards. I think they call this Adventurer's League now. It is kind of silly because if you have a group of friends that play there is very little they can do to gate keep you out. Oddly enough there are more groups now wary of letting girls play because they are afraid they will be reported if she is an SJW. It is just stupid though!
I have a Pathfinder campaign that I'm in right now, and its interesting in that there's no human characters in it. I am of a race of snake people called Nagaji, and yet I still have more humanity or a personable attitude in that character than something that is officially pushed by the BBC.

Ultimate Nullifier? Nasty cricket? Here hold my beer.
If I knew playing RPG’s was actually an exercise in group therapy.... I would have walked away long ago.
"surely there is some great moral crime left for me to be seen fixing," she said.
It's pretty entertaining to hear Zack yelling about the furry he can't get off his screen
