    Never thought of using a wago for my multi lead jumper…awesome idea! Gonna redo mine like that. Goodbye wire nut.

    Well, if you're in an area with humidity you will soon be getting high resistance contacts on the plugs and switches, crocadile clips bite in for a better connection. It will be interesting to see how it goes and how often you use it.

    I just learned a trick where you strip your jumpers and wire nut the end and you get a better conveniently jumper. That being said if it's not too pricey I would definitely consider this.

    Your pretty much giving yourself a tstat at the unit with a resetting fuse awesome tool and it’s not that expensive

    It's cool and stupid at the same time. Stupid because it's very simple and you can make one yourself. Nobody really *needs* one. Cool because it's all in one and very cleverly put together and they did all the leg work for you. Convenient.

      Exactly 😂 I still think it's cool and well thought out for the most part. Neat little gadget

    Do you technically need to remove the thermostat wires to use this? Or can I just clip this meter to all terminals while the stat wires are connected and control it from the device

    • @ReliableHVACR
      @ReliableHVACR  Рік тому

      No that's why it comes with different tips, like magnetic, alligator and piercing. You hook on while it's still wired up

  • @SonicOrbStudios

    Do I need to turn t-stat off first before I jump? What if I jump and somebody turn the t-stat on is that ok. What would happen?

    • @ReliableHVACR
      @ReliableHVACR  Рік тому

      No it's the same as using jumpers while the unit is in a delay. After awhile you can just remove them and the unit should be on by then...tstats are just open and closed contacts, it's doing the same thing as the jumper King. Nothing should happen. Just do not jump anything to Common or ground, you'll short it out.
