Your woodyard seems to have really grown since the 22RS came along! Great tree service load! The big stuff does slow you down but mostly worth it in my opinion. Great work Jeremiah!! 👊🏻🔥🪵🇺🇸
Looks like you need and outlet for those smaller chunks. That pile seems to be growing. But another nice score from the tree service. Good work Jeremiah!
That Ash sure does cut a lot easier when it’s green! Noodles easier when it’s dry though😂 Them biggins was giving me flashbacks on my last tree service dump😂 Glad to see ya stacked the rounds for Mike👍🏻👍🏻🍻
I wish I got tree service wood like that! The last time I got some they dropped off big, rotted, ant infested junk. I was cutting up a bunch of very dry Ash yesterday and OMG was it tough going, a 8-10" limb took me forever to get through even with my 462, I think its time for a new chain lol My 462 does the same thing noodling but my little Husquvarna 350 doesnt seem to clog up at all.
Try the West Coast Cover Jeremiah……it’s a bit flashy, but sure gets the noodles out better than the Stihl cover……less stopping and pulling out noodles next to a hot/sharp chain. IMHO. Looks like you Tree service’s are doing well by you 🪵👍👏🇺🇸
Maybe you know… it seems like the noodles get clogged up on the original chain catch, should I remove it because I have the chain catch on the dawgs? Thanks Rick👍👊
@@outdoorsinthe608 I wouldn’t remove it Jeremiah….that is all you have to keep that chain from coming back on you. It’s just a pinch point cause the original cover is compressed at that point. That is why is suggested the West Coast cover…..it’s wider and larger…..allowing the chips and noodles to pass through easier. While still allowing full use of the larger dogs and chain catcher. They are a touch expensive but I have found worth it…..I actually think it even helps the saw run a bit cooler and stays cleaner around the clutch area. Probably best to see what a Pro say’s…..I’m just a firewood guy. 🤓😎👍
Allen Family Firewood have been passing a head cold around. He went home to rest and watch some wood hounds on YT. Watch the very end of their video from Sunday when he is sitting by the fire!! You will like it... I have scored some really nice Ash this summer as well. They are all yard trees that the beetles have either found later or not yet! 👍
I like the 400. Genin was telling me he would recommend that saw for weight and power ratio. How do you find the weight, I'm thinking 6 hours in the woods dropping and bucking trees, would you recommend it for that.
I have a few on my property. Couple of them though aren't looking so good this year. One of them is a monster probably 40-50 inch and last year had leaves this year not so much still not like others I have. I have a bunch that I need to get around to felling that the bark is coming off in 5-10 foot strips. I did take a few out here last month but these other ones are pretty close to sheds or garages I have and are pretty massive so I haven't touched them yet but they need to come down before they do on their own. I have 3 others that are around 8-10 inch behind my body shop that still seem to be alive and well though. There is whole areas around here though that everything is dead and its almost all ash. So much firewood. Couple miles away from here there is a stretch where its mostly ash and everything real dead that has to be at least a few hundred acres. I have flown over it in a hot air balloon before. I don't know who owns that land but there is a hell of a lot of firewood that should come out of there now before all that ash is no good for anything.
Does anyone know if the Ash Borer hit Michigan worse or sooner than other states? I haven't cut any Ash in a couple years and when I did get it, it had always been dead for a while. I remember cutting dead Ash with my Dad 25 or 30 years ago. Not many around anymore. Nice video by the way!
I think Michigan is way further along in the Ash Borer destruction. More than likely this tree was treated for years, not many alive ash trees around here. Thanks Ben👍👊
New subscriber but not first time viewer. Enjoy your content and channel. I was wondering if you have stickers for sale from your channel. Since I have retired and am getting back into my workshop, I am trying to get stickers from channels that I watch. Thanks in advance and stay safe.
That’s a nice load wood. There always going to be few pieces that won’t turn into wood. Keep up the good work.
I definitely was happy to get it! Thanks Dan👍👊
Looks like some really good firewood nice score. It was all fun and games and then time to tackle the big stuff. Take care and be safe.
The big stuff sure is a lot of work! Thanks Ben👍👊

good times right there i was running some saws yesterday . enjoy it every one
Although my favorite woodyard task is splitting it’s nice to get the saw out! Thanks you👍👊
Nice score Jeremiah. The Woodyard looks good.
Thanks Dean!👍👊
Your tractor sure is handy with the big rounds. Hopefully you don't have to wait till snow before you get the brush pile burned. 👍👊
Don’t think I could do without the tractor! Been too dry here definitely going to have to wait to burn it. Thanks Ken👍👊
Beautiful looking wood! That is one serious burn pile!
It sure is. The pile is getting bigger than I like but can’t burn it been to dry. Thanks Tim👍👊
Well played, kind sir! It appears you keep your chain in good order, I like that...
Yes gotta keep it sharp! Thanks Keith👍👊
Your ash is nice wood 🪵 Cool 😎 vibes and video my new friend HW sent us! Glad we could make it.
Awesome thanks for stopping bye! Appreciate it👍👊
Nice 👍!

Ash is great firewood that is a great score!
Yes it is! Thanks Russ👍👊
Ash is cash!!! 👍
It sure is!!👍👊
Nice pile of ash, ash is cash… good looking yard as always
Ash is definitely cash! Thank you Jason👍👊

Does it ever! Man I could have done without the biggins😂 Stacking rounds is a must, pretty sure Mike agrees! Thanks Todd👍👊🍻
Tree guys are the best haha
Absolutely!😂👍
Yes they are 👍
Awesome score even if it’s green
Absolutely! Cuts and splits easier when green. Thanks Jason👍👊

You gotta find a good tree service to work with! Definitely the dry ash cuts hard!! Thank you👍👊

Man you made a Ton of noodles Lilly would love That
Pretty crazy how much is made when done! Thanks Matt👍👊
@@outdoorsinthe608 was that beef or chicken ramen?
@@brandonhoad9033 a little of both😂
Hey Jermiah, Jennie just bought me a new MS400CM. Can't wait to try it out, but not looking forward to noodling. The saw always clogs.
Oh nice! You’re going to like it!! Seems the more wet the wood is the more it clogs. Thank you Jeff👍👊

I already watched, that voice sounds familiar 😂 Probably the trees had been treated. Thanks Wayne👍👊
I just got rid of my 1 tree service pile. Thankfully, the 1 guy I have doesn't care what size he takes.
It’s a great feeling to get it done! Hope you get more. Thanks Daniel👍👊
@outdoorsinthe608 more coming, just got to get this out of the way 1st
That's a big pile of sawdust!
Sure is!👍👊
What angle is your chain filed?
I believe it’s 30 degrees. I use the Stihl 2in1 file.
@@outdoorsinthe608 try 15 degrees in hardwood and notice the difference in cutting speed.

The power head only weighs 12.8 pounds. It’s a great all around firewood saw! I’m very happy with mine. Thanks Kenny👍👊
Live ash😱😱😱? Haven't seen one (other than saplings), in bout 5 yrs
No kidding me either! They definitely split easier. Thanks Brandon👍👊

@@JesseLJohnson it is such a shame they are all dying, but man they make great firewood. A few years ago I took out 13 ash trees here on my property.
Typical tree service butchered logs for the most part. At least it’s nice straight grained ash.
It turned out great Joe!👍👊
The pieces you burn can't you cut them up and sell for boiler would?
Yes I could but not sure how many people in my area are buying boiler wood. The big pieces I put in the pile I might give to a buddy with a boiler.👍👊
