In hindsight the downfall of all my children officially began with the arrival of Krystal and Babe
Idk that baby switching with Bianca and Babe was a classic. It died down a little bit after that storyline ended.
If Babe and Krystal were written to be villains, maybe it would have ended better

We sit at the dinner table for family gatherings ever day 7 days a week for every Sunday and Saturday.
I remember when the relationships on All My Children used to be so genuine and real. These people seem like they barely know each other, despite having years of history. It's ironic that Dynasty was referenced so much because the recast Ruth was a complete miss. Reminds me so much of when Miss Ellie was recast on Dallas. Good, legendary actresses in both cases, but totally wrong for the parts.
I have to agree - I certainly like Lee M. but I was never convinced she was "Ruth" - Tad's mom - I found it to be an odd casting choice -
Tad always over stepped his boundaries. Babe Krystal Dixie and tad messed Jr up. But they blamed Adam for everything

I think that part of the reason why Adam & Palmer didn't get along was because they were too much alike. Trailer Trash who worked their way out and became successful. Also, Adam never forgave Palmer for abandoning his Sister Charlotte (Lottie) Ross's Mother.
The Chandlers/Martins/Cortlandts should go on a Plane and go to Albert Square on Eastenders for Xmas. It has had the saddest, sickest, and violent days. getting evicted on Xmas Day from your home, your lover kicks you to the curb, finding out your spouse slept with your own father, and you find out your husband got a distant relative pregnant, and then you get attacked and almost dies.
This was without a doubt the saddest, sickest most miserable Thanksgiving Dinner. Tad is seated between his Ex-Wife and His Ex Girlfriend, Palmer is there who is JR's Great Uncle, Opal is Jamie's Grandmother, while Ruth Martin #2 is Jamie's Other Grandmother, Marian & Stuart are there.
Also look at Abby Newman on The Young & The Restless. Her Mother is an Abbott and her Father is a Newman who are the Montagues/Capulets of Genoa City, WI.

This is just around the time I started watching the show regularly from late summer/fall 2003 and the show still was pretty decent. They let veterans have lines!
spinnernet1 I mean it was pretty good, but not compared to the 1980's into the mid 1990's. I have tons of episodes on tape that I received over 10 years ago and I can see why people were hooked! Now I stopped watching regularly around 2007. Not just AMC but all soaps were going completely downhill.
Babe was so inappropriate here she overstepped her welcome
They should have done with her what Cliff & Clair Huxtable did with Dabnis Brickey back in the day. You didn't "Present" this young lady properly. We know nothing about her, who she is, what she does, her Family etc. JR did it to tick off his Father who had his share of Marriages. Remember how JR, Bianca, & Laura talked about how their Mothers Erica, Brooke & Dixie were all married to him.

It doesn't exist because it was never filmed. I think it was San Francisco to be honest with you. Also slice of advice never go to Walford Square on EastEnders The UK Soap for Xmas. Something bad always happens, most notably a betrayal of the past like finding out Your Spouse slept with someone else, or getting kicked out of your Home or finding out that your Husband is the Father of your Cousin's Baby.

Why do people like her so much? she's a terrible person. Her start on this show was when she slept with Jamie when she had just gotten married to JR. Then she stole her best friend's baby and let Bianca think that her child was dead. Didn't she even bring the baby to her own memorial? And she cheated on JR again with Josh because JR wouldn't talk to her about his emotions. Seriously? She's gross. Her death was not a loss.
Crazygurl1211 I agree I hated Babe since day one she was never redeemable in my eyes. Imo she helped cause a lot of his self destruction.
Join the Club Sport. Wouldn't it be awful if someone said "Did your mother name you after the Pig." Also, Babe watched Dynasty but not Dallas, after all The Ewings didn't give Pam The Welcome Wagon for a very long time. You never get a second chance to make a first impression neither one of them knew that.

I dont get the hype over old babe. Her actor is kind of dry and plain to me and gives me no emotional connection. I liked new babe better, she had different chemistry with J.R's actor and did a good job.
