I always liked that one of campbell's main concerns when he sees Fergus escaping down the side of the building is "Will i get extra cocoa if he doesn't have his." This show is so good but it also destroys me emotionally so as someone already said, in my dream world the show ends at Episode 3. lol
And the hits from the sixties were marvelous. How did they get the Beatles "I Wanna hold Your Hand"? Hang on Sloopy, one of my favorites. "Sloopy I don't care what your Daddy do". David Tennant's hair is beautiful.
SQUEE TIME! I love these boys! I stop watching when Ep. 3 is over and pretend that's the real ending. I hate how things end up in the end. I pretend that it's a fun triumphant story about "Sticking it to the Man" rather than "The Scottish answer to 'One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest'". I know the original was making a point about how the mentally ill are mistreated and how changes need to be made... and that's great and all... but I just loved the characters too much and just prefer a good "David slays Goliath" story. I stop once Ep. 3 is done and assume they save the station. I totally adore Campbell and he's my fave David Tennant character. He and Fergus are the cutest pair ever. I ignore the fact that, in the full version, Fergus offs himself. I envision Fergus as Campbell's hyper-compitent sidekick... the "straight man" who looks at Cam and his latest scheme and mutters "...oh, I dunno, Campbell..." but joins in, anyways. He's the "Hobbes" to Campbell's "Calvin".
