I do a similar version on the first trick. The way I reveal it is I’ll have the forced card as the home screen on my phone. I place the phone (with screen off) and hidden card on the pile and then do my banter. Have the person pick up the phone and hit the home button to reveal the card, then have them lift the top card to show they match.
It’s sent people screaming out of pubs before rofl.

Rich, I love that you have such energy for this stuff, !!! It’s so refreshing to see someone so committed to their craft.... We are loosing the people who are committed to their vocation. Explaining the tricks was nice for the “newbies”, they must start somewhere.....you may have inspired the next generation of prestidigitation practitioners. My friend, you are a man of conviction & commitment, very rare theses days....I look forward to your road show. I live in the Chicago area, stop by and see us some time soon, I suggest autumn, it’s our best season, however if you want singles & the party scene, summer time is the best time!!! You got to love tourists !!! I will give you this warning, if you book in the city, bring your A-GAME, the city is full of scammers & sharks, book the northern and/or western suburbs for the “bright eyed”, easy to look at crowd, they have money to spend, and don’t know the city tricks. Lots of great towns around here too. Midwestern folks love to be wow-ed, just not suckered. Be sure your team knows the difference. We are real people loving folks, we eat real corn on the cob, still give out blue ribbons at the county fair, & there are plenty of good folks willing to help out when needed. Can’t wait to see your show !! I’m sure when you get here, there will be several things that you will never forget about the place, the food, most importantly the people.

Thanks Rich! I love magic, always have. Coin and card tricks, levitation tricks, and especially mind reading magic are my favorites, so obviously I had to watch your video. I always preform magic at school to my friends, to the point where they think its actually real! 😂 Anyways, I have a simple mind reading trick I made up for you. I don't know if this is already a known trick, but this is just what I always do. Start off by asking someone to pick a number, but not tell you what it is. Now tell them to multiply it by 3. (This should be done in their head or on a peice of paper you can't see.) Then, tell them to add 6 to it. Then, tell them to divide it by 3. Lastly, have them subtract their original number. Make sure they don't tell you the new number. Then say "I bet your number is.... 2!" Funny thing, the answer will always be 2. The audience will be totally baffled! 😊 Hope this helped! Bye Rich! 😁

    good demo Rich...
looks easy after your reveal, but it still takes a lot of practice to get to the level where you can confidently pull it off smoothly. Tell everyone here, it takes a lot of practice to carry out any "magic" trick.

I find the one with the burning of the paper is the best one to blow someone's mind. Especially if you can make them write something embarrassing, perhaps by daring them, since the paper will be destroyed and never read. I also find that using a matchbox can provide a better distraction than a lighter and gives a lot of time to steal and read the word.

Seems like the vast majority of the practice is being buttery smooth in the setup/presentation and not so much the mechanics (except for that last one maybe) You make it look so easy, and can tell you've been doing it for a long time and it shows in how natural it all is. Well done! I was very entertained and may launch a couple on my wife!

Liya Rin try this trick, take any six cards out of the deck ex: Jack of clubs, KH, QD, AS, JH, anb KS. Now find the soulmates (partners) of each card and stick them so thay are all double facers. Now spread out the cards and ask a spectator to quickly remember any one. When squaring up the deck, secretly flip the deck over. Pretend you are going to read there mind. Remove any card out of the spread and place it in the center of the deck. When you spread the deck again, the card thay thought of will be missing. Do not forget to flip the deck over, it's the main move. " I trust you on this one".👍
