I LOVED my impaler when I first got it after killing the warrior. It was my first legendary drop, and it actually had pretty good killing power on TVHM for me.
I feel if the Impaler had some roid damage added as a special ability, with high recharge light or something similar, then memes zero would benefit strongly and would allow players to strategize close melee builds and ideas, they could strip their shield, allow the spikes to fly, and have those do a lot of work as they slash away, wouldn't that be neato
Tossing a magic missile, then a Pandemic or two with Krieg's Elemental empathy, Fuel the Fire and a Bone of the ancients Relic (if you can get one with corrosive damage) is quite nasty, you don't go down and get to watch everyone melt in front of your eyes, it's quite satisfying, couple that with a Bad Touch, you'll have a potent enough Corrosive setup for UVHM, from experience I've molten down more than a few enemies that aren't armoured, as much as I like all the elements, Corrosive is my absolute favourite.
The Infection is pretty good on DoT characters like Gaige or Krieg. And Marek's Mouth would actually be worse with different grips, so it's a good thing it's Scav locked. The stock doesn't make that much of a difference to call a guaranteed best grip bad. The Pandemic is also decent for DoT builds like the Breath of Terra.
The Pandemic is actually amazing on krieg (non melee build). You throw one of them into 2-3 people and get 100 stacks. Throw more to get them faster. It´s always my initiator for fight against any creep because it ensures that those stacks are up quickly. Also makes stuff easier to find and sets me on fire/depletes my shield. Masochistik maniac approves of this suicidal grenade mod.

I kinda like the pandemic on krieg. I often play a RoughRider-Hellborn build because a FOTF-build is still too fragile in my opinion. So if you're in a Loader heavy area this thing is really practical. DOTs for healing, BloodBath procs and decent damage. And you don't have to waste slots for a Moxxie-gun or a Chain Lightning
At 12:13 when you talk about the Impaler's drop locations I got one when I randomly whacked opened a bullymong pile in Frost Bottom. I was honestly surprised by it.
I can confirm Stinkpot being ok in normal mode. Actually, at the time I first got it, it was my highest dps gun over a lot of legendaries. I'd reccomend it for the first playthrough, even though I hate Torgue barrel on rifles.
forgot the globber from tps. it's obtained late-game, and the projectiles it shoots act like a rubberized grenade, bouncing across the floor and ricocheting off surfaces, making it borderline impossible to score consistent criticals, or even hit enemies at all.
Twin Teapot my fav corossive weapon has splash damage, has high elemental damage, has mideocre damage but when boosted by salvador your firing a high damage with splash damage and high elemental damage that can kill everything yes everything even flesh and even Saturn in OP8
I think all of these “worst” lists demonstrate the critical flaw in an otherwise amazing game......that weapons were never properly scaled to UVHM. SO MANY are fun but completely worthless at that point in the game. Get rid of the Grog, the DPUH, the Sandhawk, the Bee Shield, and the Pimpernel......then buff all other weapons. And Make Borderlands Great Again!!

I have to disagree with you about the pandemic. I always play as Axton, and I'm sure you know he's I believe, the best character to play in the game. He gets Max grenades, he gets bonuses for them, Etc. I've never had a problem with the pandemic I love the Homing pandemic
Spiked shields..... Depends. I really like to use them against this annoying little creature enemys like Rakks, Spiderlings etc... Also, if you are playing melee Zer0, you´ll often get close enough to enemys to trigger their melee attack, while turtle shields are in general somewhat bad since they reduce your maximum hp and some of the characters like Zer0 or Krieg gain buffs if their shield is depleted. It may be a good choice for the mechromancer and the Gunzerker, but other than that....

Yooo am I lucky? I just got 3 bee shields in less than 1 hour. I farmed Hunter for the bee and got it 2nd try. I decided to keep going and got it on the 5th try. Then I decided to finish Tina's dlc on my Axton and got the bee shield from a treant.

The retcher was the first drop I ever got off Hyperius. I stopped playing for a week after seeing how horrible it was.
