  • Here's a list of things you should consider bringing to your first marching band camp:
    1. Instrument: Bring your instrument or make any necessary plans on how you’re going to acquire your instrument (school rental)
    2. Music and Drill: Plan how you’re going to carry your sheet music and any drill charts or marching instructions provided by the band director.

    3. Comfortable Shoes: Invest in a good pair of supportive athletic shoes suitable for marching and long hours of practice.

    I’m in eighth grade and I am partially in marching band I get to play move props manage the band equipment and people but I have band camp next year and was so scared this video helps so much thank you

    Bring deodorant! You really don't want to be the stinky and sweaty kid around all the other stinky kids.
    In a few moths I'm going to be in band camp for the first time, and one of the youngest students to march in the history of my band.(I'll be in 7th grade ) I'm also playing the synth, which I'm super exited about.
