Shows that despite what they've done and what they can do, the souls of the animatronics are children that had their lives cut short and were lied to. Despite their wariness and dislike towards Mike, they stood down and allowed him to join in on the fun when Abby introduced them. They were never actively hateful or hostile towards him initially.
Ironically that’s what I like about these versions of the animatronics. They have far more control over their animatronic bodies and still possess other emotions besides vengeance.
That’s and now that they know the truth and have some form or peace plus Mike did promise they’ll start visiting them more it’ll possible they’ll be more on civil terms
I think that ruins the horror that built the series. What worked was it was a child's game you had to win that they broke the rules to. They wanted you to die.

This was so strange and cute! It was honestly my favorite part. They each have personailes you can just see from the simple gestures. Freddy is protective. Hes the leader. Bonnie is a bit of a sweet goofball. Chica is sweet, but can drop it, and become murderous. Foxy watches. Foxy waits. The cupcake thirsts for blood!! The fact that all the cute stuff they do still sounds so metalic, brings an uneasieness.

Here, in the Movie, they forgot who killed them, while in the Game, they did not forget their Murder, they knew who had killed them, but they attacked the Guards, because they thought that one of them was William Afton, since This one entered the Pizzeria at night, to steal Remnant or as they call it in the Books, The Agony and like the Guards, they also entered at night, they confused them with him, until they killed them they saw that none of them were he
This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole film and the animatronics look so incredibly amazing as they always do! Abby playing with them and talking to them was so heartwarming and cute especially when she hugged Freddy. I wish that we're me :). This movie was such a truly awesome masterpiece and is now and always will be my top favorite. I couldn't ever ask for a better movie. Thank you Blumhouse and Scott for having my childhood nostalgic video game franchise become an official movie. Can't wait for the sequel!
It really is sad to imagine that for decades, these four never had an uplifting presence quite like Abby. Sure, they had each other, but they were mostly left to toil in their own anguish. Abby was someone that helped them forget that anguish, so no wonder they wanted her to stay forever.
Freddy and his friends remind me of the Collector from Owl House. He's been alone for so long, which is why he wanted King to be his friend cuz Belos manipulated him. Just like Afton with the Animatronics

And just to remind you guys, this same sound effect can be heard in the OST for this movie in “My Grandfather’s Clock” which also plays at the end of the movie. And now, whose song is that? Or is represented by that? The Puppet.
And were built by the Jim Henson Company (so we were in good hands.) And given how these characters are Animatronics, it just wouldn't had worked if they were CGI.

I like how the expression of Freddy changes when he meets Mike. At first, when Mike rushes in with the chair, he perceives him as a threat and is ready to attack him. Then when Abby says that Mike's her brother, his expression mellows and relaxes, and doesn't see him as danger anymore.
The movie is meant to focus more on the childlike nature on the animatronics, because people (myself included) often forget that the animatronics really are just innocent kids that were murdered at a young age

Before the movie came out, I was scared that seeing the robots in live action would be too big of a change, but I can’t imagine going back now. They’re real. Look at them. They’ve got so much personality, they did so well with making and puppeteering them. I love them so so so much.
Say what you want about the movie, but the practical effects behind the animatronics are second to none. The Jim Henson company did their designs justice.

The first thing thay came to my minde after watching this was
"They interact with the kids just fine but when they encounter an adult they just.........stare"
I wonder what the original version of this scene was gonna be cause seeing the tv spots where Abby says, "can we go home now?"
Perhaps it seems like they were gonna attack Abby, but more so "protecting" her from Mike until 6AM hits causing the animatronics to freeze up.

Before the movie came out, I was scared that seeing the robots in live action would be too big of a change, but I can’t imagine going back now. They’re real. Look at them. They’ve got so much personality, they did so well with making and puppeteering them. I love them so so so much.
Say what you want about the movie, but the practical effects behind the animatronics are second to none. The Jim Henson company did their designs justice.
