I think the penalty given against Arsenal was a reaction to the player rolling around. I’ve been elbowed in the face and the resulting crack from my eye socket to my teeth needed plates. You just hit the ground in pain, you don’t roll around trying to get attention! Also, I saw many players carrying, nudging and kicking the ball away from where a foul took place and not a single Ref gave a card or saw it as an offence, yet Rice was penalised. Why?
Let's PLEASE not underrate the performances from Jacob Murphy. Sure he's a runner, but some of the technical things he'd been doing has been fantastic. Been striking it like valverde 😂
As a United fan, I enjoy with and agree with much of the analysis of many of our games. It is a case of the players displaying the same passion that was on display against Liverpool week in week out like Alan said.
The sad truth is that we (Ipswich) have had very few bad and many good performances, but we’re still mostly a championship level team. Regardless of how we end up ranking at the end of this season is, I’ll be proud of our run. In terms of “playing the game out” or “bad game management”, our biggest weakness has been fitness in the last 5-10 minutes
Robertson has to be dropped, he is such a liability. At least Trent has been playing pretty well attacking most games. Is Tsimikas hadn't been injured I think Robbo would have been dropped games ago
I’m not sold on the arsenal incident being a penalty , but I do agree with Alan , it’s a distinctly unique case and not a 50/50 because Pedro quite clearly has the ball completely under control and has intentionally flicked it up to header it and in real time it looks as if he has been completely taken out with a head butt which is a foul no different to if the contact came from another body part. Also in real time it looks like a penalty and if you need freeze frames and for it to be slowed down to 0.1 of game speed to discern the slightest of potential touches of the ball from saliba then it’s not a clear and obvious refereeing era so hardly a really egregious call. But arsenal fans are sports greatest victims , the spurs one is significantly worse. ( West Ham fan )
Yes alan we are saying the same thing thats the standard they set. The blueprint going forward no excuses the real litmus test comes against the Southamptons and Brightons. Ive said this for months 95% of this game is won and lost upstairs not downstairs with your feet. The mental side is so so underrated which finally people are starting to understand.
This pod with you guys is by some margin the best pod about EPL that there is. Even when I'am totaly pissed after the terrible Liverpool performance against man utd, and when I find my self thinking that Trent should f... of to Madrid in jan if we could get 20M for him. Even all of this I find myself in a better mood after listening this pod👍👍👍👍👍⚽
As a Liverpool fan I think that Trent has been outstanding for us and will still respect him if he decides to leave for Madrid. However, yesterday he was the weakest player on the pitch for Liverpool. I got the feeling that his heart wasn’t really in the match, passing was off and defensive work was poor (I am sure that Virgil was giving he the evil eyes a few times). May be he was making sure he wouldn’t get injured and scupper a deal, only he knows. I thought that Connor Bradly should have been given more of a chance. He has been impressive in the same position and he doesn’t mind doing the defensive work.
Can someone talk about how Arsenal were time wasting especially in the first half. It was embarrassing, the ref kept letting it go on way too long before he actually showed someone a card
Sorry but you only think they are time wasting because you have that perception placed in your mind by a) the crowd when they go behind and b) a narrative spread that arsenal time waste. I applaue you to watch the clock. They don’t take any longer than any other side. It’s even been proven that Man City take the longest time on average to take a goal kick but no body bemoans them. Its every team that gets in the lead slow the game down. (ps I’m not an arsenal fan my brother is I support Liverpool)
i feel like its grown TOO much tbh. the 'big 5' leagues used to be a lot more exciting to me but i havent cared about serie a or la liga in years. i think the predictions about the prem being a threat to the rest of the game is coming true.. its like now there's the prem, and then there's everyone else.
Of course it is a pen. Agree with Shearer. Not only that, he didn't connect properly and the other player did. So it was just dangerous. Also, EVERYONE loves seeing Artita angry, better than winning the title
Jacob Murphy reminds me of an ld Italian winger called Di Livio. He played mainly for Juventus and was never a star but he could cover the ground, battle and produce on the big occasion. Also, I really respect Gary's views on strikers. Despite him being a right fanny, he was a natural in front of goal.
I agree with Gary on this. I am an Arsenal fan, and I hated what happened at Brighton. The PGMOL should introduce a system like the review system in cricket. It only goes up to the third umpire (VAR in this case) when the team reviews it, this makes the game way faster and don't have to wait for every stupid decisions. Plus, the third umpire correcrsts the on the field umpire if it's a no ball which could be used for offside decisions for goals. PLEASE PGMOL GET THIS!!
The EFL should really start something every month, with an independent journalist, or football professional (not tied to any teams) as well as someone who is responsible for VAR Decisions/appeals, and finally someone who is responsible for Referees and their decisions. This supposedly already “happens” behind closed doors and maybe if you are lucky you get to hear the radio chatter, or maybe if a decision been changed. But wether it is actually changing the process or not, it does not matter. The SFA have the VAR Review, posted on Scottish Football Association UA-cam channel end of every month, to play back each controversial decision made, where they play back the full audio from the Referee, and VAR officials, with the full video and all angles captured as well. Posted by the Scottish FA, and presented by Gordon Duncan who is probably the biggest Scottish journalist for football, alongside Head of Refereeing Willie Collum. Who has had his own record of dodgy decisions made in the past for both sides of Glasgow. Ultimately, it is for the fans and for training to be used moving forward, if a mistake is made it will be admitted, and as much clarity as possible be given, as well as next steps to prevent it happening again! It’s no where near perfect, and SFA has lots of stupid decisions, and obvious mistakes made too, but I think most people do truly appreciate this. It gives some answers, and at least shows what’s being done to prevent, or correct errors moving forward.
I think when there was less money in football there was more love for the game. That’s why the talent was talent back in the day. Half of these players have the talent but tactics and money hold them back I believe.
Trent has always been defensively poor, yesterday was nothing new. He's like a CAM being forced to play at right back. Great going forward, but not exactly a solid defender.
Yeah, I love him but he's a playmaker who doesn't have the nuts and bolts to play in midfield. Sinisa Mihajlovic and Ian Harte were like that. So teams would jimmy them in as usually the pros outweighed the cons. But he is definitely not a specialist right back.
@@rufusstewart762sorry but if your getting ran all ovee by the likes of Dalot whos a decent RB but nothing special, that tells me trent aint imprived that much defensively, hes just being allowed forward more bcus theyre playing attacking football most the time atm, if liveepool were in 50/50s every week or having to hold on to leads trent would be exposed
Granted it was a terrible defensive performance yesterday, but does that then offset all the improvements he’s made defensively over the other 15+ games he’s played against even better opponents? We’ve also gone behind multiple times this season and came back to win without Trent being at fault, so I don’t know how you’ve come to this conclusion. His head is gone due to the noise about his contract and he needs to sort it out, that’s the only distraction that lead to his performance yesterday.
I am glad Alan enjoyed his day at Ibrox, however, its a pity he never highlighted that a celtic player was injured by being hit by a coin in the face. Rangers get a free rein and the media needs to highlight it. Recently Celtic had a physio a scared for life by a flying glass bottle. Additionally Joe Harts had his penalty box sprayed with broken glass at half time all at Ibrox. Just a sample of the vile atmosphere created, it might be noisy but to just say it was great is ignoring what happens there. Also Celtic fans sing songs for freedom and justice. Rangers fans just sing songs about killing Catholics. A major difference. So many issues skirted over, that Rangers are never held to account for. They sang horrendous songs at the match Alan attended. I feel it should be called out more, or at least educate oneself on what they are calling great.
Utd players over the last ten years have been given a free ride. We are now seeing a coach that won’t give anyone a free ride and they have to work for a place in the starting 11. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction and the next game against Arsenal in the FA Cup will be a good test if they are improving and wasn’t just a flash in the pan.
I hope he can settle on a starting 11 from now to the end of the season. He keeps changing his team every game, I know suspension doesn't help mut we need to settle on our best 11 now
4:36 Don’t you think “drive” is a limited resource that refills slowly? I never properly understood emotional exhaustion till my startup failed in Covid. Now when I look at struggling teams, I see exactly what I felt: desperately wanting to do right by the fans, but only being physically able 1 out of 3 or 4 games, because some kind of energy reserve is at zero, and it takes that long to recharge. I’m no expert but it might be illuminating to look into dopamine levels, or other hormones
its all about momentum. that whole saying about winning being a habit.. and so is losing. once momentum starts to go one way its really hard to reverse it. i feel this concept is not well explored in football but its a bigger deal in american sports. the former captain of the blackhawks when we were winning titles would say that when things arent going your way, you have to do small things, like make a tackle, or a pass, just anything to try and build positive momentum, and build on that.
Tottenham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham - all teams that can beat and complete at this level. But they are all teams that can and will lose numerous games over the course of the season....what we are seeing is United at this level of consistency once they spend another 500mil
I’m sick of the lack of accountability for Sancho. “The manager trusts him now” said Micha Was ETH giving him 3 months off for “mental health” mid season not trust? Not looking after him?
I would never believe I know more about football than Gary Lineker, but I am 100% certain Gabriel did not head the ball first based on the flight of the ball and the time of the impact
11 mins 5 seconds Gary - No matter how bad the fans feel the players will feel worse. I’m sorry but no chance! I remember watching live pictures of Ashley Cole, Lampard etc. getting off the plane in Africa after being knocked out carrying their washing bags laughing and joking with each other. I could hardly speak to my friends and family I was so gutted after that result, let alone have a laugh
Three of the Man Utd line-up also played in the 7-0 loss at Anfield. Fernandes, Dallot and Martinez. And they all played on the left last night. Strange but true.
man utd have been so poor that utd randomly just playing like their lives depended on it made the game so different then expected also trent... i dunno he is just a liability for the team now i want bradley starting every game until the madrid saga is sorted out otherwise cant have his ego and attitude ruining the games
I was only able to watch a rerun of the game, but the biggest takeaway I got was how inept Alexander Arnold defending is. He appears to lack positional awareness and the first two goals came from his side and position on the field. He has no problem going forward to attack but very reluctant to do the reverse.
Amorim has gotten roughly one training session between matches since he came in. They had most of a week ahead of Liverpool, and he’s got the same going into the Arsenal match next weekend. The ideas are getting across to the players, they need repetition without it being a live game all the time. After the Liverpool match both Martinez and Fernandes did interviews and they were both disappointed with the result on the day. They know they can achieve better results and their exasperation is real. The Latin players in the team show this more visibly both on and off the pitch. But I think there is a togetherness there. Cut out conceding from set pieces (United collectively saw off TAA on Sunday with his fabled delivery) and the results look much improved. There’s no Saka next weekend on corners due to injury. Those variables matter, and a bad performance from a key opponent or an injury can have big effects on the overall narrative.
Liverpool will still be happy with the draw against a United squad that once again provided at the right time. I agree United should have a run. Post the victory in their derby I predicted United must win their next five games. Turned out I think it's 2 losses and a draw fair to say the draw was a solid start which could lead to a 3-5 win run.
Gary is not telling the truth and is showing his bias towards Arsenal Saliba headbutted the Brighton striker and was a clear penalty absolutely ridiculous his argument here
Mr., G. Linekar: "But, I think Manchester United fans, and ... my friends, are saying the same thing, 'How can they get themselves up for a game like that and look incredibly committed, yet in other games ... particularly in recent weeks, they've almost a lethargical approach that is totally different?'. I mean, football is strange that way; you can lift yourself for a certain performance. But, ... when you are at a club of Manchester United's stature, you expect that sort of commitment(sic.) week-in, week-out. And now I suppose they'll be saying. 'Right, okay, that's a really good performance. Now, what are you going to do? Follow that up and let's have a run. And, obviously that's all dependent on circumstances and stuff. And I think, ... we saw the same thing when they won at City. I think it suits them a little bit--I mean, playing against teams that are really good, er, in attack. Because they are almost a counter-attacking team, (yeah?) In some ways--that's what we've seen in the last two three seasons. I think, United fans will be saying, 'That's the commitment we want to see, week-in, week-out.' Fair?" Yes Mr., Linekar, you presented a useful and yes, "fair" complete analysis of the Man United situation--which yes, is comparable and useful in understanding the "historic" "rise and fall" of "performance" or "results" of teams and players, past, present (and future?). You including the "motherlode" of the cruciality of certain (most) difficult to articulate and often unrecognized factors which comprise what you smartly expressed as "... obviously that's all dependent on circumstances and stuff." Just that, "circumstance" ... "and stuff" covers the hidden factors which one really never hears discussed in the detail and depth which they need to be, since this is addressing the factors that make or solve the "problem/problems" of "the ups and downs" of player, manager or team. Well, it's not a matter of "only" football; only affecting football. And this wanting to "see ('that') 'commitment', week-in, week-out" is a cliched, over-sold expression which is (I'm afraid) lacking in depth of understanding when it is often used just by itself, as it all too often is. And if used on a person (say, a footballer) will only leave them in confusion; will only wind them up. I mean? What the hells does that cliche mean: "... that commitment"--it excludes the part or parts to be "played" (those other things that need to be done, in contribution (to the player/players/team), to "again" succeed in "producing" "that" particular and very desired "result" or "performance". Asking blandly and in a trite manner for repeated "showings"/"demonstrations" of some (pointed out) "commitment" is neither fair nor a demonstration by one (or more) that they understand all that is concerned in the production of such performance and results which they are then demanding of another to whom they factually need to be explaining in a clear, detailed and understood manner, what needs to be done to obtain the desired/needed and wanted future result/results. It's almost an offensive (certainly a psychically hurtful) statement (thing to say); a pre-shovelling of all and any blame to come--onto the feet of the hapless player/players or team. "Hapless" because most footballers are not the "masters of their own destiny". They do not have the full knowledge (and experience, but, this is an "over-used word". People never know what they mean when they use it, so, neither does the listener--he knows it is a "passing of the buck" but, onto him!) to analytically, "knowingly", "with open eyes and full understanding" ... footballers do not have the ability to direct or drive their own performances, never mind the team as a whole's performance, to achieve with certainty, manager or fan or club required desired results and performances. [Now, go to Part Two, please.]
Yes the penalty against Saliba was not a penalty but the whole discussion avoids the central issue that Arsenal have: not being able to score against teams that park the bus (Everton) or more than once against teams that play and are actually good (Brighton). Many teams have already brought in players they need, but Arsenal won't which makes one better understand why Edu left.
Man Utd don't lack effort for the most part, but when you don't know exactly what you are doing or what your team unit is doing it affects your intuition. Those extra 0.5 seconds of thinking are the difference in outcomes at the top level. Amorim already said in an interview he wants the players to think less and that will take time to be able to do. 2 months is nothing.
@Cristobal_2012 I used to watch our lot line up against Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Keane etc - absolute dream teams as we responded with Danny Murphy and Igor Biscan. How many times did we get properly PUMPED? We didn't. We'd literally line up with Biscan and somehow scrape a 1-0 win or we'd somehow come back after half time and make it a game. Rarely did United just go out there and sacrifice us.
@@Christoffski well I for one thought it was gonna be at least 4-0, especially after watching them against my team Newcastle a few days earlier..worst I've ever seen them AND they were at home that day 😯
"Haaland, Watkins" Why follow Haaland with Ollie bloody Watkins when he's playing second fiddle to Duran and forget to mention the most in form striker in the league in Isak who is valued by his club at 150 million. 🤣
Last week Amorin played Eriksen and Casemiro in midfield has anybody figurered out why? Man utd are mid table at best until they get a decent centre forward.
Gary in cricket the players on the pitch take the review without any outside influence. In football the bench will see the replay and tell the captain when to take the var call or not
Love the pod but a little disappointed they spent the entire Brighton-Arsenal segment talking about VAR. No mention of Brighton stopping Arsenal from having any shots at all in the second half, or Arsenal timewasting in the first half when they went up. Neither of those are things title challengers are supposed to do against a team like us.
Video evidence works much better in cricket and rugby. Lineker and the others are right that too many VAR decisions are so marginal. As a Forest fan I was disappointed with a VAR decision to exclude a goal against Villa as a single leg of an attacker was ahead of the last defender. That was impossible to detect with the naked eye.
Saliba makes contact with Pedro before the ball proceeds to bounce on the back of his head. This is a clear penalty by the letter of the law. Whether it was deliberate or inadvertent is also irrelevant.
Trent out here making Dalot look like Prime Hazard and most of Liverpool fans would still defend this guy, I swear to God if we lose this title we would be the biggest bottlers, we did the same thing during Klopp era and it's the same but speak the truth and see how you get the hate.
Not true. No one is defending Trents performance yesterday from a Liverpool SUPPORTERS point of view. FACT. We can back him and criticise him you know? You do know that don't you? I get the feeling you dont. Very one dimensional in your thinking.
As an Ipswich fan again really frustrated. Yesterday, Bournemouth, Brentford, Leicester, should have taken 12 points and took just 2. McKenna setting us up to get points but individual errors killing us. We are still in the fight hopefully we get to 2 or 3 games left and still there with the chance for survival.
I'm still fuming so my opinions are still heated but how does a scouser play like that against United? Amad looked like he cared more than Trent and he's not even English, let alone a Manc. Getting beat 1v1 isnt what annoys me, its the effort after that annoys me, just joggjng back. Genuinely curious how he thinks Madrid fans will react when he plays like that, he'll be getting booed off every game.
It does NOT matter how elite you are… if you are being paid to do a job, you give it all… Does not matter if you a teacher, nurse, CEO or being paid to kick a ball… you give 100%
Regarding the Arsenal penalty incidence, what if a player goes through a player with his feet but also touches the ball during the way, is it a foul or not in modern football?
Im wondering whether Liverpool's out of contract players obsessed with getting as many millions as possible above anything else may let Arsenal in thru the back door. The title is no longer the priority for Liverpool's three best players.
The whole “it’s a howler. It’s not enough” all that bollocks is what makes it so much harder. Get rid of the grey area and make it very simple, it’s either the correct decision or not. It’s a foul or it’s not. A foul is a foul
regarding VAR: shouldit be like in rugby where the Referee requests VAR for a spacific point for them to look at. Other than that VAR will only get involved if there is a serious potential sending off offence caused, This way the referee remains the only authority in the game, as it should be
Totally love this podcast! I feel ManU needs to get rid of anyone that has been there for longer than 3 years. Gets the toxicity out and new players wont be affected with the crap mentality. Some of these players shouldnt be playing for ManU.

It's just amazing how the english premier league has grown especially when you grew up following it every weekend from around the world
i feel like its grown TOO much tbh. the 'big 5' leagues used to be a lot more exciting to me but i havent cared about serie a or la liga in years. i think the predictions about the prem being a threat to the rest of the game is coming true.. its like now there's the prem, and then there's everyone else.
Of course it is a pen. Agree with Shearer. Not only that, he didn't connect properly and the other player did. So it was just dangerous.
Also, EVERYONE loves seeing Artita angry, better than winning the title
Can’t understand how a local lad can’t play without any passion vs Manchester United
Man Utd are the English version of rangers we olay celtic off the park then the following game we play rubbish again it's a nightmare
Angelo Di livio, aka the little soldier, my favourite player from the gazetta football Italia days, brilliant player grafter,
42:24 Gary not gonna let Micah deny him his Sadé bit 😂
I agree with Gary on this. I am an Arsenal fan, and I hated what happened at Brighton. The PGMOL should introduce a system like the review system in cricket. It only goes up to the third umpire (VAR in this case) when the team reviews it, this makes the game way faster and don't have to wait for every stupid decisions. Plus, the third umpire correcrsts the on the field umpire if it's a no ball which could be used for offside decisions for goals. PLEASE PGMOL GET THIS!!
Excellent idea. Limited reviews allowed to each team.
Didn’t they say they’re implicating this at the women’s national tournament to see how it goes
Same in NBA and NFL games with crazy amount of brakes so can’t be stopping every 5 mins for VAR as well
The EFL should really start something every month, with an independent journalist, or football professional (not tied to any teams) as well as someone who is responsible for VAR Decisions/appeals, and finally someone who is responsible for Referees and their decisions.
@craigtozer6542 let's hope so, it's a great idea, and can be implemented simply without any major problems.
Absolute Rubbish, recency bias. This season he's improved massively defensively.
So? should he be offered a new contract or let him play for madrid
I feel it should be called out more, or at least educate oneself on what they are calling great.
love that pod though and always listen, however, if what happened at Ibrox took place in the Premier League it would be covered everywhere.
Nunez is a saint right……Nobody seen it.? The worst piece of foul play this year and last year gets nothing from these laughable clowns.
Do awful weather conditions affect skillful players more?
The debate on this arsenal penalty…. If somebody told me I could headbutt people in the box who are going to beat me I would have been in my element 😂
Spot on!!
You've got the best background,Gary,quality.....
Trent is already In Madrid I hope we let him leave now Connor is such a better defensive player
Why haven't they mentioned Trent's performance???
Utd players over the last ten years have been given a free ride. We are now seeing a coach that won’t give anyone a free ride and they have to work for a place in the starting 11. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction and the next game against Arsenal in the FA Cup will be a good test if they are improving and wasn’t just a flash in the pan.
I hope he can settle on a starting 11 from now to the end of the season. He keeps changing his team every game, I know suspension doesn't help mut we need to settle on our best 11 now
I’m suprised Micah didn’t defend his boy Rashford
You have a problem mate. Go get help.
Micah doing his best Ty "maybe it was the weather" because United was playing in 18° sunshine 😂
Let’s be honest, Liverpool didn’t win because Arnold was horrible. If Tuchel puts him in the first 11, his story will end as misery.
You really cant watch Ted Lasso and then listen to Gary talking without chuckling a little 😂😂
the honest in micah , i love it absolutely
Tottenham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham - all teams that can beat and complete at this level. But they are all teams that can and will lose numerous games over the course of the season....what we are seeing is United at this level of consistency once they spend another 500mil
Can that TV be higher?
Alan's "most players" in that conversation about caring is a subtle dig at Michael Owen, I suspect! 😂
The game overall was pretty good very enjoyable the best I have watched to date
Micah, seriously give it a rest with “you’ve been a manager Al” he was in charge for 8 games about 15 years ago and they got relegated! 😂😂😂
I’m sick of the lack of accountability for Sancho.
“The manager trusts him now” said Micha
Was ETH giving him 3 months off for “mental health” mid season not trust? Not looking after him?
Wonderful vlog gents...Intellect and fun..
I would never believe I know more about football than Gary Lineker, but I am 100% certain Gabriel did not head the ball first based on the flight of the ball and the time of the impact
Why's there even a debate about Brighton's penalty? It's a clear foul
Impossible to explain unless they are not biased. Clear PK!
Love seeing Alan’s bald head in the morning 🖤🤍
United played well but make no mistake about it, Trent was our best player yesterday. He was daydreaming about those mamacitas in Spain
man utd have been so poor that utd randomly just playing like their lives depended on it made the game so different then expected also trent... i dunno he is just a liability for the team now i want bradley starting every game until the madrid saga is sorted out otherwise cant have his ego and attitude ruining the games
Trent getting let off scot free by you lot
I agree with Gary re: the appeal system, like tennis and hawkeye - if you get it right you keep the appeal and you get one a half or game (whichever)
Hopefully Utd will produce the same performance against Arsenal and make us Liverpool supporters happy
Micah - great glasses but get anti glare on the lens…
I was only able to watch a rerun of the game, but the biggest takeaway I got was how inept Alexander Arnold defending is. He appears to lack positional awareness and the first two goals came from his side and position on the field. He has no problem going forward to attack but very reluctant to do the reverse.
Same thing happened Aug 2022 - They had lost a whole host of games and then beat Liverpool 2 1 - after that went back to normal.
Not true. United won 3 consecutive games after beating Liverpol 2-1 in August 2022. Get your facts right brother
@tinkerman4326 yeah 3 games after that? Back to same old
Wasn’t that the season United finished 3rd? They went on a good run after the Liverpool game
These guys should be the world voice on pl. Cool relaxed and enjoying the game.
If a percentage of the player wages are performance based then you would see a positive reflection of that on the pitch.
I think, United fans will be saying, 'That's the commitment we want to see, week-in, week-out.' Fair?"
Yes Mr., Linekar, you presented a useful and yes, "fair" complete analysis of the Man United situation--which yes, is comparable and useful in understanding the "historic" "rise and fall" of "performance" or "results" of teams and players, past, present (and future?).
Easy watch with these 3 as always. Mon' the Rangers! WATP
That game was a proper throwback. Knew it wouldn't be easy.
How did you know?
@Cristobal_2012 I used to watch our lot line up against Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Keane etc - absolute dream teams as we responded with Danny Murphy and Igor Biscan. How many times did we get properly PUMPED? We didn't. We'd literally line up with Biscan and somehow scrape a 1-0 win or we'd somehow come back after half time and make it a game. Rarely did United just go out there and sacrifice us.
@@Christoffski in the last 3 seasons you've beat them 7,3 and 4 nil
@Cristobal_2012 Those were surprises for a reason.
@@Christoffski well I for one thought it was gonna be at least 4-0, especially after watching them against my team Newcastle a few days earlier..worst I've ever seen them AND they were at home that day 😯
Gary I know you may have already tried but please try and get Howard Webb on and grill him in the nicest possible way!
"Haaland, Watkins" Why follow Haaland with Ollie bloody Watkins when he's playing second fiddle to Duran and forget to mention the most in form striker in the league in Isak who is valued by his club at 150 million. 🤣
Disagree with Gary on the penalty, agree with Alan. He made contact with the ball first but it was a dangerous challenge.
They care too much about Arsenal and the blue cheats
❤
The best podcast in the whole wide world.
Saliba didn't get the ball, pedro played the ball against him
What nonsense. He’s jumped towards the ball and still reaches it despite Pedro deviating it. Pretzeling at it’s finest.
Trent out here making Dalot look like Prime Hazard and most of Liverpool fans would still defend this guy, I swear to God if we lose this title we would be the biggest bottlers, we did the same thing during Klopp era and it's the same but speak the truth and see how you get the hate.
Hate fans that defend their players. The nerve of them to support their own
Ok haha. How about you support your players
Not true. No one is defending Trents performance yesterday from a Liverpool SUPPORTERS point of view.
FACT.
We can back him and criticise him you know? You do know that don't you? I get the feeling you dont. Very one dimensional in your thinking.
Was this Liverpool’s blip ??
United’s has been for the last 10 years.
Gary talks about the Tennis style appeals system, but I'm really not convinced it would work
As an Ipswich fan again really frustrated. Yesterday, Bournemouth, Brentford, Leicester, should have taken 12 points and took just 2.
McKenna setting us up to get points but individual errors killing us.
We are still in the fight hopefully we get to 2 or 3 games left and still there with the chance for survival.
33:30 Whinging wombat Ange embarrassed himself. HOWAY THE LADS! 🖤🤍
Couldn't afford to put Isak in my FT. Went for the Bournemouth scorer and got me 2 points 🫣
Even his shocking passing after not tracking back... overall he was a disgrace
TRIF with Gary Lineker, Alan 'Rightly so' Shearer and Micah 'at times' Richards
Micha out here looking like a microphone 🤣🤣🤣
Im wondering whether Liverpool's out of contract players obsessed with getting as many millions as possible above anything else may let Arsenal in thru the back door. The title is no longer the priority for Liverpool's three best players.
No word on Trent?????? Cmon lads
Other than that VAR will only get involved if there is a serious potential sending off offence caused, This way the referee remains the only authority in the game, as it should be
No one talking about Richard’s BARNET 😂😂😂
What unit, typically represented by Hz, is used to measure frequency?
25:02
Playing out was responsible for palaces equaliser too.
Maybe Big Meeks isn't the same caliber of player but he was paid a lot more 🙂
Totally love this podcast! I feel ManU needs to get rid of anyone that has been there for longer than 3 years. Gets the toxicity out and new players wont be affected with the crap mentality. Some of these players shouldnt be playing for ManU.
