@@dobbo8790 Oh no . Let me give you whatever advice I've got . Basically really condense your notes for example give certain words a symbol like for people I do ppl . This will really helpful to learn the content . Also make sure you try to understand tye electrolysis topic . What are you predicted? Good luck
@@lucyrose2553 Same my GCSEs are this year too 😪. I make really condensed notes . I have a cgp revision guide and I make the condensed notes from there . For example I will get rid of the word and , and replace it with & . I also use active recall sometimes and just read and make sure I understand it . Another this I do is past papers and when I get the answer wrong I go on the markscheme and get the question and answer and put it on a flashcard and learn it . @@Maryemarabee Thanks for replying man and sorry for the late reply as i dont check my notifications. I was wondering what i should aim for in gcse. Are 8s and 9s really necassary for all subjects or just the ones that im doing for a level??
@@Kaia-up9wm well, i did only one paper (theory one), and it was pretty great! note that i did IGCSE combined schience, not GCSE. i actually hoped to not get some topics i got (reproduction in humans, heart, fucking distillation in chemistry, types of thermal energy transfer, as I don't seem to completely understand it, though physics is my best science). but it wasn't that bad. i would even say it was pretty good.
Nice video, I was wondering what I should do because I am making flashcards but some of them are extremely long for example my flashcard for filtration it is very long and people say you shouldn't make them too long but I don't know how else I can make them. Should I just keep them long nd keep watching videos until I remember the flashcard?
have u considered making fill in the blank flashcards for long ones? rather than trying to memorise the entire back, just trying to memorise the key parts using fill in the blanks
I still havent made flashcards.Should i start making them now or will they be too much? Are there any you would recommend online that are specification specific ?
Im year 11 and I've got a mock exam in 31 days and can I just use physics and maths tutor flashcards cause I heard they are good please let me know. Its physics paper 1 and chemistry paper 2 btw Btw your SO underrated
Ty 💪🏽. Id only use them if I rly have no time to make my own. A good part of the learning and understanding comes from making the flashcards on ur own, and u miss out on that when u use premade flashcards
love your videos! can i ask what alevel subjects you do?, i take firther maths, physics and chemistry. im not intrested in chemsitry and am thinking to take computer science instead. i got a grade 8 this year in CS 2023 GCSE and enjoyed the subject and got a 99 in combined science. would you advise me to take Computer science aqa or chemsitry . which one will be most beneficial in terms of university prioritisation and getting ibto Russel group. btw i wanna be engineer maybe.
Hi bro. I did physics math CS and Arabic. It really depends. From what I’ve heard chem is rly hard, and if u enjoy CS you’ll find it easier. That being said it depends what type of engineer u want to be. Chem will prolly be a requirement for like chemical and petroleum engineering, but wont be help at all if u wanna do computer or electrical engineering.
@@shiggs33 Thank you for your response. I am really interested in mechanical engineering. thus i feel like Cs relates much more to my subjects. However if you could provide your opinion on how you found CS, whats exam board you did as well as how challenging was it for your NEA(project worth 20%).? And with your subjects did you choose to study mechanical engineering (at uni or apprenticeship)?

Thankyou. I found this video helpful
I am a fan. Well done!! And I am science teacher 😁.
Very helpful thank you 👍

I think the easiest way to get all A* in schiences is not to watch this video 2 days before the exam (As I'm currently doing)

Hi sorry I’m confused I thought combined science only went up to 5-5?
I think that’s for foundation
Combined - 5|5
Higher - 9|9
Triple - 9 9 9
