Porcelain Doll Makeup Tutorial
Seen on the runway in New York and Paris, the porcelain doll look is perfect for those with fair skin. It's all about flawless skin, pinched cheeks, subtle eyes and dramatic matte lips. Professional makeup artist Katie Wedlund demonstrates how to create a porcelain doll look with super-dramatic lilac lips. Deep berry or red lips are perfect for this look, as well.

Thanks so much for the tutorial. You do a beautiful job walking us through the look.
Katie Wedlund your hair is amazing!
very pretty
Tbh I think the model herself looks more like a porcelein doll and the makeup adds to it👍🏾 she has beautiful eyes
I really do like it
its cute i like it
wooooooow nice the make up artist really gooooooooooood
A beautiful finish. Please tell me where I can get my hands on the Brow Fix, a wax in a pencil? Thanks again...
oooo so many haters out there. I think that Katie is gorgeous and I love your hair cut. So cute.
yes! I agree! probably a pink color very soft..but since when the dolls were purple in her lips??
the model looks soo much more beautiful without the make up! not that she doesnt look amazing with it! but natural beauty is flawless
that model really looks like a doll with that make up, fair skin and that FABULOUS red hair (i guess its copper blonde, right? i wanna dye my hair that same color, but i guess hers is natural).
anyways, amazing job and beautiful model.
hey i love this makeup artist how about you guys!!!
she needed to line her upper water line with black liner because when she put the lashes on you can see a huge gap and tell that they were fake
I think it would be prettier with pink lips ^^
"it adds to this sort of sad beauty" yeah thats the exact look we all go for when getting ready to look sad and like weve been crying :/
Eye shadow on lips?
me too:-)
Makeup is supposed to be fun. I know that sometimes at night before I wash my face I try a crazy makeup look because you never know when you could get something thats not only out of the box, but wearable too. However, this look is one that i would check myself out in the mirror, giggle and silently "Nope." I have no idea why this woman chose this look to film.
@mistressmandy4589
think you didn't get her idea of this make up. Its inspired by the Romanticism, and its not a typical everyday woman make up at all :-)
Ginger! AHHH!
cool! :)
@Mondoshawn Did you even watch the video?
There's something very romantic about her eyes looking like she's been crying... Yeah... I see that, too... Lol! Who hired this lady!?
that's probably just your monitor. mine is clear and not green.. and heck if she wants her hair like that she can do it
@fullredplatinum whats your point?
it looks more like...a fairy then what they were going for
@fullredplatinum so? lots of make up artists do? what your point? just fyi lots of people know how to apply makeup so that it looks like thy're not wearing any. the make up artist is definately wearing makeup.
i'd wear everything accept the lip color; that's the only thing i can't see leaking off the runway.
you are so nice.
I feel the make up artist is prettier than the model, but I like the model's hair color
grody green screen but the makeup and model look nice
wat dos imao mean???????
@SceneKidd07 the model isn't hideous by any means! She's not your cookie cutter pretty girl, more of a unique beauty. If your looking for an everyday pretty blonde plastic faced chick then go read a playboy magazine or something, stop hating.
so? were you born with flawless skin?
@mistressmandy4589 did you read about romanticism yet, if not its useless to explain. But its okay if you don't like it.
It was so awkward when Katie was doing her lips and that seductive music started playing. I was like "What the heck?"
idk. the look is very minimal..which is nice, but i don't like that shade of liptick/eyeshadow combo on her mouth. i don't think it makes her skin look glowy and complete the look so much as it washes her out
That model does NOT have porcelain skin. D: Porcelain is lighter than that. I should know, because my skin actually is porcelain-colored. I also don't see the need for purple lipstick. I have never seen a doll with purple lips (aside from Bratz dolls!).
alot of people need to learn about romanticism
What is with the comments about the models looks.
This model is beautiful, these are what proper models look like.
I'm sorry if your idea of a model is blonde hair and a plastic face.
You obviously have no idea of the fashion industry.
lmao
too purple
Stop hating on the models, God.
thanks you. they need to stop focusing so much on the model's skin. just look at the makeup.
lolz u can totally tell that theyre in front of a green screen! lolz
the lips remind me of the color corps's lips are. kinda creepy lol
okay..four minutes
Her lips looked okay before she put eyeshadow on them..
whats with the strange seductive music playing with the innocent porcelain doll tutorial? Anyone else noticing this..?
i hate the lips color!!! maybe a softer color would look better
nooooooo nooo and nooooooooooooo
how boring............why watch this ??
