Can I NEEDLE FELT a TINY CAT for this tiny chair?

In this video I set myself a challenge to needle felt a miniature chair and then needle felt a tiny cat to sit in the chair. I’ll talk you through how I needle felted the chair and cat and share the moments where I stab myself :( in trying to accomplish this extremely fiddly challenge.

Materials you’ll need:
Needle felting wool in the following colours, preferably carded wool but you can use merino tops:
Dark purple or red
White
Brown
Black (tiny amount)
Equipment:
Fine Felting needles, I use a 40 Gauge Triangular Needle
Foam or mat to work on

Much respect to your lovely miniature chair-and-cat piece, and plasters for your fingers!
Goodness knows how many times I stabbed myself too until I got a pair of leather finger guards.
And yes, the amount of straining my eyes, even with glasses on...can't stop determination to get the work right!
I'm thinking of getting a magnifier (used for embroidery) and a pair of iron gauntlets :)

Thanks, yes I've tried leather finger guards but find them awkward to hold the wool with, but maybe I should have used them for this project 😊 a magnifier sounds like a good plan, and the gauntlets 😂

While looking for a miniature cat I came upon this micro cat, genius! I was looking for about two inches, this is, what, a quarter of an inch?

Aw thank you, it's about 3/8 of an inch 😊 it was very fiddly to make! One of my crazy ideas that seemed like a good idea at the time, but in practice was quite tricky! 🤣 Thanks for watching
