What's abundantly clear is that there is a chronology to the animal style: snake & mantis are apparently the oldest, and perhaps the least useful. Dragon was somewhere in the middle & clearly influenced Shorin Ryu katate. Crane & tiger were relatively modern, forming their own style: Hung Gar.

Beautiful choreography.
It's great to see David Chiang actually acting and not just standing around smirking.
In fairness, he’s excellent at standing around and smirking.
I am.from India..always liked these movies
amazing movie just watched completely love the ending
I like watching this wonderful vintage Kung Fu 🤸 movie,I had watched it several times 🤸
I love these Kung Fu flicks
I love Marital Arts movies especially David Chiang.
Love these movies
Great classic flick i loved the story that has to do with tradition honour and love and the fight scenes are really good as well.
"Avenging Eagles" is pure classic to me...incredible cinematography, fights, and hidden sliding daggers as a secret weapon. I gave the credit to Fu Sheng, Ti Lung, and Ku Feng.
It's amazing what you can do with 5 sound effects.
This movie taught me that to to learn Kung Fu, one simply has to observe nature and techniques will upload themselves.
Shaw brothers Kung Fu movies at their very best

Nothing like a good Shaw brothers movie 😁
😀 " GREAT CLASSIC!.... But the end sequence always irritates Me. The imperial warrior's father condemns Him, despite his son being ' kept in the dark ' about their family's rebellion alliance. "
Unfortunately when it comes to reality of Asian, African or any other system of martial arts many instructors die without sharing your techniques with students to carry on the secrets of excellent fighting skills those systems taught back to master study.a
David Chiang!!! ❤️❤️❤️
See
@Alexander Richards He is!!! ^-^
GOOD OLE DAYS. ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES.
Never impressed by David Chang's martial arts skills.but this one really impressed.he took it up a notch 👍👍👍
Had the father shared his views with his son then the ending would have been different . and sadly the entire family was most likely executed for treason because of the fathers betrayal .
😃 (lol) " YEAH!.... It seems that Imperial Chinese rebels had trust issues too. "
John Doner ष
yes the ending is bad
At his last breath I was waiting for Lau Ka Leung to tell David Chiang "good kung fu" with thumb up sign lolsss
