This guy is good, never stops the bike and does the camera / narration like he is sitting on a sofa
Appreciate the feedback 💕
What’s that good? Anyone can disobey the rules, it is just that drivers get fined while douchebags on bikes get a pass, feel like they own the road and when they eventually find someone as crazy as them, they always play the victim.
@@vali20vali20vali20 then start riding bro :)
@@vali20vali20vali20 obviously you never left the sofa, except the rare trip to the fridge
@@sidv192 yeah, u so sure... you used your wannabe magical wizard powers to see this... you obviously have a big void up there, I can see it, based on actual facts. If being an asshole is so impressive to you, why waste any more time, he’s waiting for your juicy kiss.
Having this played in the background while doing my school work is a vibe.
when i see Brooklyn bridge it comes to my head that clip if a cyclist singing: BIIIIIKE LAAAANE, THIS IS A BIIIIIKE LAAAANE (With Star Wars soundtrack ) so people move aside both thinking this guy is crazy and scared
Didn’t realise this was something I needed. U.K. lockdown has been pretty stifling so it’s nice to watch someone going somewhere for a change
“Ok so this is Park” - immediately gets cut off.

Is this prerecorded, or live? Wondering if I can jump on my bike and find you :)
Today’s premiere is pre recorded. If you wanna find me live riding check me on twitch:)
Hotline: Louis Rossman when?
Damn...now I'm fienin' for Gray's Papaya Hot Dogs. 🌭
this is a good one feels like I'm doing the ride and roaming around NY :)
The camera angle, narration, and cloudy day is a VIBE AND A HALF let me tell ya! So good!
Sometimes meditation is just meditation, other times meditation is watching a guy I don't know cycling around a city making observations.
that hub sounds so good
It could be better without that sound imho
@@G_Adept if it aint loud i dont want it
Looks up at a building to take a pic whilst coasting through a red light.
Bikes + photography = the best time! I love finding other photographers who bike.
Thoroughly enjoyable, and nerve-wracking. Especial appreciation of the comment at 14:23 - meanwhile it's like an hour of running every red light and taking every risk imaginable. Gotta love NYC
Kevin Smith thank you for being along for the journey
Riding road bike in New York seems more dangerous than mtn biking at the woods. At least the trees dont move sheesh...
It is , it's the video game you can't restart but once you hooked There's No Going Back
I worked for a company called buyk and I was lucky enough on one of my routes to bump in to this wonderful man and his friends. I’ve been riding bikes, my whole life and I enjoyed my ride with him. He’s good peoples, and I would ride with him any day.😊
I feel like this guys mom watching this... Stay safe
Dude enjoyed this, I've been out of the city for nearly 8 years but rode every day when I lived there. Brings back memories keep it up bro.
Great videos, Terry. Thanks for all your wonderful work.😊
Love these just riding along videos of yours Terry. NYC is so bleak and empty in this one, nuts.
Love these JRAs, keep ‘em coming!
Man, great shots, great vid, Terry. Thanks for making my day
Hey Terry, been enjoying your vids.brings back memories. I used to race alley cats with Lucas Brunelle 20 years ago, I’m the Ice rider 🧊in his videos,We had to go to court in Boston a few weeks ago for a UA-cam video back in January 2021.The case was dismissed.Keep up the good work 🚲
Awesome City tour Terry, Niceee!
Dude this is such a cool channel! Thank you!
One of your best. I like the explanation of the difficulties of riding on the bridge. It amazes me how people can’t pay attention. Nice chill ride. What kinda cool sounding wheel is that, that sounds like a locust invasion. Love it. Ohh and my wife knew when you snot rocketed when you were riding lol.
Love the vid, thanks! It’s like being there!
I know I'm a bit late to the vid, but I just got a bike after skating across LA for years, and videos like yours make me feel a lot more comfortable with being a part of all the traffic. I may not blow as many reds (lol) but something about the commentary and your lines really got me feeling the flow of riding. Keep it up man, thanks for sharing your awesome journeys!
Nice ride Terry love to see the bridges of New York city, and overall the streets of NY !! I also like when u make those calls aha aha aha Like a peacock! And Yep yep yep!!
!
imho the film photos could last in the video a bit longer ~
good to know. I'll keep them in there longer next time.
This felt like a soothing yet insightful ASMR video. So wonderful to see the city again through a cyclist's eyes and camera. Great work, Terry!
Thanks for this, Terry!
Really enjoying your videos Terry.
I enjoyed this more than I can explain. Video and sound quality are top notch ! Would definitely watch this style of video over any series or TV shows !
Glad you enjoyed it and welcome aboard.
Hi Terry B, here from Peru. I speak basic english, so i will try to say what your video means for me without google translate.
First, the sound of riding a bike outdoor its fresh and I know because I do too. I can do other things while I hear your video, It is like other comment i have read. It is a video like sitting on a sofa. So I am glad for find your channel since seven months ago.
Keep going, and good luck!
🙌😎🥃❄️Cool and cold.
I feel like I might have gotten a Brooklyn Bridge "yo bike lane" from Terry when I was touring NYC, like a noob. I know better now :)
The wooden bridge would freak me out with thin road bike tires.
Cycling gives me life.
🤜🤛 Love the late 70ies bleak colors. Works really well with the city imo.
Those are some nice photos man!
This is awesome!!
Love the JRAs Terry. Take care man!
I just rewatched a few of your 2020 rides, damn what crazy times. I kinda miss those empty streets, to be honest, it was a special feeling riding through the cities.
It was crazy and crazier to watch it now.
Looks awesome!
Awesome 👌
What a sweet freewheel hub. Good to ride with you!
Appreciate you schotte
just watching you ride feels so relaxing, i can only imagine if i get to cycle in that city.
For real
I miss that "covid" just ride vids from you!
Awesome format. Super creative way to integrate your photography with long shot rides. I also thought it was neat that you used the scrubbing bar headers. Heads up, ads sometime interfered with the stills. Couldn't see some of your photos without having to scrub back.
appreciate the feedback
Thank you for this. It's an interesting perspective. As a native Californian, New York City is intimidating. But from the seat of a bike, it's just like anywhere.
The sound of that absurdly loud cassette is just a thing of beauty. Adds a certain pace and layer to his vids
Terribly cool!
Gotta love Terry
This was a really cool video! It was like pokemon snap IRL
😂
Love the bike shot man
Walking on the bike lane must be some kind of deeply coded stuff.
It is the same here in Budapest (Hungary).
Prolly cause theres not many bikes. He also doesn't stop for red lights, which seems worse to me
Back in the day there was steps on the bridge when you had to make time you go along with the cars . The road for the cars has expansion gaps I had to jump over with glued sewup tubular tires on a track bike . Those were the days !!!
I'm surprised how big the streets are in a city considered crowded, loved the video, greetings from Costa Rica 😎
Love the POV's
This channel is turning into a vampire of my time.
I swear, as God is my Witness, just yesterday before I saw this video was posted, I was mapping out my first NYC ride in years once my GoPro9 comes in Wednesday from upper Manhattan to crossing the BK bridge. I used to work at the base of the bridge on the NYC side at City Hall when I was part of the team that restored it.
great minds...
I watch your videos when I’m feeling uninspired.. thank you!!!
I really like the "Just riding along" Stuff!
Right on!
Great Vid!
Inspiring me to bike in NYC next time I go!
“This lady’s pissed right here!”...I think more in the British sense than the American.
This rocks. I've tried doing some on-bike narration and it's really hard, and comes out terrible. You need the confidence to not care about looking nuts and most of all to have something to say. This is inspiring me to try harder though!
Chill and enjoyable vibe
jesus the amount of traffic laws broken in this video
This is a new add to my bucket list, getting lost in New York City on a my bike
recommend it anywhere you go
This is therapy.
perfect to have it on the screen at work, combined with some surf rock, brings peace to my soul and motivates me to ride my bike. What else do you need?
35:50 It's like being there man.
Did the Lady scream "gett of my yard"? lol
I love you headset looks soothing
That fish eye lense makes everything look just an inch away from disaster!
I love how you pass very close to pedestrians on the Brooklyn Bridge I tend to do the same thing and they always seem very surprised that you pass so close but in reality they are the ones that are in the wrong
This attitude is beyond disgusting: he disobeys any traffic law yet expects pedestrians to give a shit about his stupid bike lane... the general opinion about cyclists is well based on cold hard true facts, I’m afraid...
loving the literary reference
Thank you so much for this video! I am fascinated for what I've seen, as it fulfills my need for exploring!
Especially for people who will miss the opportunity to travel, this is perfect!
i like bright landscapes, bright colored buildings, bridges and old rounded buildings, especially those at the beginning. Trees were terrific - I see more of them and more bushes along the road in the next future. The road were neat enough and clean. Filming with panoramic view provided us with many peripheral details, but also scared me, wondering if you were safe enough; hope you were. You know that Latin saying: "Festina lente" (hurry slowly), so I promise from now on to leave home early enough to get on time and enjoy the time spent in traffic, as it is a part of my life. I saw a lot of places that are alike and I didn't get the purpose of your travel, but I want to see the video again, more carefully to get it. I would add to my bike a funny and low-level-sound klaxon for pedestrians walking on bike side. Also, I prefer only necessary information, so I will end here, thank you!
that sounds already interesting
see ya in a few 📛
the fools on that bridge, especially on the way back...
love the way you show the photos that you take from your camera . Also , it would be more interesting to see if you could put a speedometer there . that would be cool
The fact that you HAVE to run red lights to get somewhere in NYC says a whole lot about the cycling infrastructure. Not that it is okay what he does though
Hey Terry, have you ever hit one of those short white poles in the middle of the road?
Sometimes you hit them on purpose
We got same problem on the seafront with tourists & locals alike, walking in the cycle lanes. I live in south England, Brighton. They have at least got the path in places a different colour. I think they should consider doing bright colours of some sorts on bike lanes.
What camera do you use. Plz let me know
Dude, amazing vid. How many miles was that ride??
Cheers from Brazil, keep it up!!
I love your videos, you really make me want to take a plane to spend some biking time in NYC, im riding in Lyon, France.
Btw what is the model of your (photo) camera ??
EDIT : my bad didnt saw the spec in description :p
cant belive i just spent an hr counsumin this content
Props to you and the way you navigate the city..a bike license should really be required in NYC as it’s basically a different country when it comes to cycling 😂
Here is my dream ride. Only missing is such a bike and America😏🇹🇷
this is the stuff
Watching this near Newport in South Wales, UK. A city you can literally ride from one end to the other in 3 minutes.
Why don't you stop at red lights? Beautiful scenery and ride btw thanks for sharing
Копец, по встречке ездит, в междурядье, на красный. Или у них это нормально?
@@Не_важно_как_меня_зовут I've watched a few of his videos. I guess it's normal for him
Fun! I was looking for Fran's Pretend It's a City trailer and saw this, so I thought I'd watch. Ended up staying up past my bedtime because it's fascinating for a Midwest suburbanite to see Manhattan from that POV. Thanks for letting others live vicariously through you.
You gave that guy a heart attack at 45:53!!
it's funny about the foot hang from ebike people in NY. I never seen it here in LA with the e-bike crowd
Rad video- What flannel is that with the velcro sleeves for riding???
What bike are you on man? Lovin the JRA vid
Hey, what rear hub is that. It sounds freaking awsome
I just wanna live there 🙌🏼😂
Man it’s a ghost town since the last time I rode there.
