Jessy Hart As a young person, most people tend to levitate to whatever everyone else is saying or doing. In this case, he allowed everyone to believe all that negative stuff about her, and ofc at the end Karma came hard. I wish he didn’t bc Kelly and the girl who he asked to the dance are both cute girls who showed some interest in him, but he allowed everyone’s opinion to get to him.
ArcticZombie it’s just the fact of how he handled the situation. He actually liked her but listened to everyone else. And now that I think about it, Chris has had some play with some cute girls especially around this time.
Guys are like that, especially if they're into someone else. They tend to ignore obvious signs because the girl isn't their "type".

Chris is a dumbass in most of the show. There are times where he's put into unlucky situations, but for the most part, all of his stress is self-inflicted.
Kelly looks good to me. She isn't passive aggressive, playing silly narcissistic head games, and was direct about wanting Chris, she didn't care how he was dressed when they went out, didn't care what movie he took her to see, she even watched the game with him at a bus station (?). That's attractive because it shows she genuinely liked HIM and therefore no matter where he took her she was happy JUST TO BE WITH HIM. That's a keeper.

But later in the episode, he later admitted himself that he liked her.....even before she got that makeover at the end.
I like how in every show/movie, the “ugly girl” that ends up being super beautiful with just some confidence and a small makeover-is never actually ugly and quite the opposite 😂

trust me, it's easy to forgive on the screen and admire the physical structure of her face. But if you seen these girls in real life, even if they got good teeth and a face, their awkwardness and timidity is not easily overlooked. People are more than their physical appearance, a weird walk and constant clumsiness makes even the most attractive unappealing.
