@gcn : Dan, I truly hope you had equally as much fun as you were shattered at the end of that. I'm now 50, and got back into cycling overall 6 years ago, and road cycling about 4. About 8 years ago, I had to give up playing ice hockey due to health concerns (I also had to change careers). I then packed on a lot of weight. One of the best cycling videos I've ever seen, frankly! Dan is a hero for getting out there with arguably two of the greatest cyclists currently racing professionally. I'm 64 years old and that 220 minus my age is pretty close for my max HR, just as it was back in my early 30's when I was racing on an amateur level here in Southern California. Back then we didn't have power meters, Zwift/Rouvy/et al (or even the Internet for that matter to see this sort of thing, obviously) but knowing how some of the climbs in our local mountains compare to those in the Grand Tours, and knowing the times the pros were doing on those climbs, we just couldn't wrap our heads around how they could possibly do that. I was a pretty decent climber back then, relatively speaking of course. Watching Dan at a 10 while Jonas and Sepp were at a "high 2" just confirms how incredibly strong and talented the best pros are. Truly amazing.

Who would you like to see Dan with next?
How about Dan racing against some of the former professionals of his era? Would be interesting to see the results. 🙂@@JonCannings
i loved this one . i always enjoy Dan segments . great piece thanks
Great to Dan back on the bike. I can't think any other GCN presenter would have made it such fun.
Would have loved to hear more chitchat and banter. Dan is always a real one when it comes to not taking himself to seriously and that always make me laugh so hard! Great ride Dan
Nice one Dan, that takes courage to do that with 2 of the best riders in the world. Fair play to them for being good sports though, nice guys.
I think Dan should do a 12-month fitness challenge to see how fit he can get on the bike and race them again next year.
Oooo we like the sound of this 👀 Sep and Jonas are shaking in their boots 😬
@@gcnit can be Dan’s swan song for cycling.
Just do a 12-month fitness challenge every year for the next 15 years and Dan will be ready for the sequel!
This was a privilege to watch! I loved the subjective level of effort among the three of them.
Lovely weather, great location, fabulous bikes and you are on Zwift 🤪🤪🤔
thumbs up for Lloyd Jonas and Sepp!
Jonas 😍
