This helped a lot man, thanks so much for taking the time to film and post this. I did this on an 08 Tundra and there aren't too many differences between the two. Also a note to everyone doing this make sure to tuck the wire between the leg of the fan bracket before reinstalling it. I only noticed the wire was out of place after reinstalling the fan bracket and some of those bolts are a pain to get to.
Thanks for posting! I used this and TRQs video to change out my fan bracket. Like you, mine was rusted on too. I spent an hour hammering the shit out of it and using a combination of wood shims, putty knifes and screw drivers to wedge in there. One difference with the lx470 for the fan bracket is the ac compressor only needs the top and bottom bolts removed in order to slide the bracket forward. I also found it useful to remove the battery in order to slide the shroud out. The ac line is kind of in the way there. Hope this helps somebody else!
Got my new timing on installing timing tensioner now all lined up bro your video walked me through step by step very much appreciated can't wait to get it all together and turned over
Thank you bro I Got it done and she's running with a new water pump and timing belt so happy and proud of myself used your video as my guide your awesome 😎
Bro made putting timing belt on look easy lol I'm struggling Trina get my new belt on the right cam off a tooth same as yours and when I move it not working as well
I have a 2002 Toyota sequoia 2wd I'm about to work on just bought how did ya hold the cams and I seen you posted all tools used in video writing them all down now pretty confident in doing this myself mechanic wants to wait till Wednesday and wouldn't tell me how much I've done other work myself and turned out fine
It’s been three years since I replaced my own with an Aisin kit. Aisin makes these parts for Toyota so it’s no surprise that they’re still working perfectly
@@cruiserpatch ok cool ,yeah just asking Ive purchased a kit for my honda pilot TKH-002 and the serpentine belt, idler and pulley since I’ll have it out was just curious. I’ve heard nothing but good news but every time I get the opportunity I want to ask.
Hey buddy nice video, I follow the steps but a the time to try to install the timebelt the right Cam moves to the side and I lost the iligment on the cams , can I just turn the crankshaft 2 more revolutions to align everything again?
Just make sure that when the belt is back on, that everything is still in time. If it is not, you’ll have some serious misfires. It’s not an interfering engine but if it’s out of time it won’t run correctly
Ugh was driving good for 2 weeks after got new timing and water pump on and it decides to start leaking my timing kit came with a paper type water pump gasket now have to take it all off again this is devastating
Delco kit I seen it's leaking from thermostat housing originally thought it was from water pump gasket cause it was paper my old one was metal I got it apart again and redoing it all just to be on the safe side assuming misfire is from coils getting wet

I Bought a 03 sequoia. No waterpump or timing belt service record. Should I worried? Car run flawless and smooth.
How many miles on it? They need to be changed every 150,000 to 200,000 miles or you can pull off your covers and check for cracks or if it feels dry
Mine was at 326,000 and was changed at 150,000 so I went ahead n changed mine as it was starting to crack and was drying up
Car is sitting at 188k and ok will check my timing belt. Ty so much
Yessir Good Luck They Good Trucks n can Run Forever.
@@ryanculler7324 sweet! And ty
I had to rotate passenger cam like you did and it slidded right into place
Did the Austin kit come with the thermostat gasket that goes into the motor not the one that goes over the thermostat

hello, I watch your videos and I was wondering what correct anti freezer is used for 1999 Land Cruiser because a lot say its the blue one or pink???
I use red or pink from Toyota. Either will work
Bada boom
Now that its been around a year hows the Aisin kit holding up ?

what year vehicle are you working on?

I'm pretty sure the 4.7 is a interference engine isn't it?
My timing belt slipped off in the mountains about a year ago. My engine would be toast if it was interfering 👍🏼
Ing fot the torque speck on the thermostat housing...
24 ft-lbs is probably enough
