Hello Cassandra, really appreciate all your videos. This one confuses me, I saw it twice and realised the moment you put makeup under the creams and showing the finall results , is actualy the oposite . Am i right charlotte tilbury was put on the side of the face with less creasing at the end? Maybe I am wrong. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us, there is a lot to learn from you! Charlotte Tilbury has Viola/Violet, Damascus Rose, and Plumeria(fun fact: Baby Powder's scent is traditionally Rose, Jasmine, and Iris(where Orris root is from).
What happened to you is the exact reason I don't use Charlotte Tilbury makeup, ditto Valentino, and pretty much any cosmetics/skincare that smells floral. Even when I had an epipen on me, it was not fun.

The fact that revolution managed to make their moisturizer very similar to charlotte's magic moisturizer without using the same ingredients is actually quite a feat, really impressive.
They're a brand built on copying the hardwork of others right down to the packaging. Whether it's big luxury brands where it doesn't make much of a difference or worse, small independent businesses owned by women, where they hurt the entire brand. This is literally what they spend their money on. This is on top of all the other shady stuff they did internally.

All women of all income brackets deserve to look beautiful so affordable skincare products are a necessity.
I am going to be honest here and say that I was expecting this to happen. I know luxury brands are all over the internet promising miracles but for me , more afordable products worked better. Yes the packaging is not as fancy and the overall experience is not the same but at the end of the day the product being effective and sensitive skin friendly in my case is much more important
I’m a registered nurse and we use Eucerine cream to heal skin. You can literally buy it in any drugstore. Paying luxury prices for creams is just about the name. The product isn’t necessarily better .
I love seeing you use those globs of the moisturizer! Other influencers use tiny dots.
I think the whole convept of a $100 jar of face cream is an utter racket. Nobody needs to buy a cream that expensive. Even people with severe burns or skin diseases dont need a cream that expensive. For that price, it better literally be magic!

I bought this “dupe” as I ran out of moisturizer and I love it. It smells like a flower, looks soooo cute on my dresser and I have really sensitive skin and it feels QUENCHED, even though I’ve been swimming in a pool daily the past two weeks. It’s thick but not globby thick if ya know what I mean and it looks lush under my (not dupe) Charlotte tilbury foundation. It hasnt made me break out and my as I’m obsessed with Miss Marple, I can’t say I’ve noticed the old lady scent, but if I did, I guess I would dig it anyway 😂

I used the Rev Pro Miracle Cream. While it has great benefits, the fragrance broke me out. I promptly requested a refund after 3 days of use. It took 2 weeks for my skin to recover. If Revolution Beauty creates a fragrance free version, I'm in!
I am glad to know that. I am really sensitive to fragrance. I wanted to try to Revolution one, but figured the fragrance would be a turn off for me. I hope your break out is all better now.

I absolutely LOVE the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream. I have never used CT's cream because I just couldn't spend that amount on that cream. Oh, I'll spend money on really good cosmetics occasionally, but I just have never bought CT's Magic Cream. I use Revolution Pro at night, I have oily skin, but it makes my skin feel so good and I love it. I tried it after watching your video, so thank you!

It’s not just the price but the fragrance that kept me from buying the magic cream. If the Revolution one was fragrance free I’d totally try it. I’m always looking for a rich cream for my dry skin.
Also I feel like dupes are almost always for a different market. Ppl who are going to buy high end aren’t going to switch to a cheap(er) dupe, and ppl who want the high end version by the dupe bc can’t afford the high end version. The only time I find it problematic is when a small company is duped. Like when colourpop duped the body glitter gel from a small indie brand. Especially when it’s a bigger brand duping a smaller less well known brand. That’s when I think it’s unethical.

The cream I really like right now is the cocokind resurfacing cream. It feels so hydrating and I like that it has something else going for it besides the hydration. I’d heard the one in the purple jar was great also, so I bought it, but even tho it’s marketed as their hydrating cream ,I still like the resurfacing one better. Only downside is if you use it with anything that has an oil it pills up. Which sucks bc last month I bought the Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence & they do not work together. So now I can’t use my essence when I use it. So I’m still looking for my holy grail moisturizer. Especially bc in winter I really struggle. I use actives & even with layering hydrating essences, serums and cream, topped with an occlusive layer at night, I struggle to keep my skin hydrated. I end up having to cut back on my tretinoin & my acids which causes me to have more breakouts. So I’m pretty desperate to find hydrating products. Tho I’m loving a lot of Japanese skincare bc it’s so hydration focused. But thanks again I’ll put that on my wishlist for my next order. ♥️

@@kaivickers166 that’s fine, I usually don’t buy drugstore skincare unless it’s like Japanese drugstore. Although I’ve heard there are some newer drugstore option that I may try at some point. Like the Naturium line at target has some products I’m interested in. I mentioned it in a previous comment but I really like a couple of cocokind creams I bought but they’re also annoying bc they pill up when I use anything with oil, which means I can’t use them if I use my kombucha essmce or my Sunday Riley retinol oil. So I end up only able to use them about half of the week. So I appreciate the suggestions. I’ll def look at the skin fix cream bc I need something that’s rich, hydrating enough for winter, but also allows me to use my products that have some oil in them.

I'm excited to try! I love magic cream but rarely splurge. I have somewhat dehydrated aging normal leaning dry skin so i am always looking for pretty much the heaviest cream I can get. The other one I love is from Tatcha the dewy skin version in the purple tub, Mad About Skins max hydration moisturizer, and recently been loving Beauty pies triple hyaluronic acid deep moisture cream but you have to have a membership and it still isn't that cheap $30. The mad about skin gives you a huge tube, no fragrance and cheap. Something like $14 but it comes from the UK.

identical jar as the Bobby Brown face base. (Moisturizer and primer) Also, the Bobby Brown come in different oz jars. And, yup she has a $100.00 jar too. I think we need a side by side of all 3 since the Revolution Pro is in the same jar as Bobby Brown face base. This now sounds like a project Cassandra. Lolol. Several of my friends swear by the Bobby Brown, while other say nope, nothing compares to the CT magic cream. I would love to hear your final thoughts. The discrepancy in addresses is probably a tax thing: a lot of international companies have their European headquarters in Ireland because they pay very little tax. Facebook, Apple and Google all have their European divisions based there. I suspect Revolution’s U.K. operations are still running from their original London HQ but their international business runs from Dublin, especially for ease of trade with the European Union post-Brexit.

I bought the Dewy Skin cream by Tatcha. I don't love it and yet, I do feel pretty pampered using it. It's sort of weird how the psychology of luxury products.
Ooh I didn't know black girl sunscreen had a little mermaid version awe so freaking cute I need it. I wanna get the little mermaid wet brush and their leave in conditioner and I knew about those but I had no idea about the spf soooo excited. And that moisturizer too.
Ive got this its the best moisturiser ive ever used my skin so so soft im very sensitive with what i put on my skin,i also have the revolution pro night cream and undereye cream ive hardly used the nogjt and underye cream seeing this today tho im gonna try the both with the revolution pro moisturiser for a few weeks and see if there is more of a difference in them to plz do a review 🙏🏻 on them xxx

I know Revolution absolutely love to 'dupe', but Tilbury's cream has been out in the uk for a very long time(2013) and the miracle cream has only been out here since 2022. If they truly wanted to dupe, they'd have done it long,long ago(and revolution have no shame as far as duping is concerned 😊) . I think it's just a fab little moisturiser in its own right , at a great price .
Possibly False, trade patent will allow brands trade secret formulas for a period of time before it can be replicated or copied.
Think about lululemon leggings. No one could figure their fabric out when they were at their peak, but now everyone has a version of the align legging with similar fabric. For a long time (20 years i think) lululemon had a trade patent.
It’s possible it wasn’t replicated bc i wasn’t allowed to be.
I must say my absolute favorite moisturizer for daytime use for my oily skin is tatcha water cream. It's so amazing. I will also admit I've never tried Charlotte Tilbury's cream. I do have a sample size but have been hesitant to try it bc of the fragrance. Thank you for the review sweetie!!!
Edit: I did some research on the revolution skincare miracle cream. If you are prone to breakouts there are some ingredients near the top of the list with a comedogenic rating of 4 and 5 (really high. 5 is the highest). 14.00 isn't worth the zits I would have after putting that cream on my face. But if you don't breakout and are one of the lucky ones that can use anything, i would go for it.

I use the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream. My skin is dry and it works well for me. It is one of my luxury items.

For some reason, I didn't have the best luck with the Charlotte moisturizer. It pilled pretty badly on me, & I felt like it just kind of sat on my skin & didn't absorb, if that makes sense? Maybe I'll try the cheaper version & see if I have better luck

Have you tried P.CALM Water barrier Sunscreen????!!!!!! It is everything Amazon says it is it’s lightweight creamy it’s like a filter primer gives me perfect glass skin it has the best ingredients it’s sensitive skin friendly and the best part SWEATPROOF!!!!!!!! Thank you for your review! I have not tried the CT Magic Cream. I have wanted to but.. the pricing just turns me off. It sounds amazing, but I can't justify 100 dollars (over 100 here in Canada, I think the largest bottle is 325 dollars.. I just can't. I could re-build my daughter's computer for that price.) for skin cream. I will try the Revolution Pro though!

i never liked the magic cream bc i left my skin feeling too oily, but that was several years ago- maybe now my skin would like it better. but that being said, I don't feel the need to try it bc i have stuff i like. I always love to learn about alternatives for high-end products, though.
Can you do a video about the recent AMAZING acne busting masks that are on the market right now? For example: Star Face Sulphur Clay with blueberry extract,.....Dr.Dennis Gross ft Colloidal sulphur with sal.. acid AND retinol!!... and Murad sal..acid with sulphur. These are all great for oily and acne prone people.
