I eliminated the "I'm sick" when my daughter wasn't. She had 2 days per each half year that all she had to do is say "I don't wanna go today." She would fight to save those days and it would be close to the end of semester and she would say "Oh I haven't used my days yet. LOL

As an old teacher here….you can bet on traveling stuff going on at school as soon as we all get back to school and in a close environment!!! September was always vitamin C month and into October are Fall allergies( mold from leaves falling etc!! Tis’ the season!!!
The water here is really hard, too. Everytime we would stay somewhere, Dad would have to get the same type of shampoo. He insisted it was the shampoo not the water. I would have to laugh. 💓
Roxanne for nice healthy hair, wash it in rain water. My great Aunt only ever washed her hair, here in the UK, using rain water. She would catch the rain water, use it cold in the summer and boil it for colder months. When she died at 98 she still wore her hair long and had no grey , just long shiny hair.

When you clean the tub do you use baking soda vinegar and Dawn soap mixed with water put it in a bucket don't put it in a spray bottle wipe it all over the tub let it sit for a couple minutes and repeat you might have to do that a couple times but it's amazing have fun
Stop by the local bait shop and ask them for some tips. They are generally pretty friendly and knowledgeable about what’s hitting and the best time, conditions etc. Good Luck 🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣
Rox, I was thinking about what you were saying about riding, And I must say & my wife will shout this from the mountain tops, Harley makes the worst seats on the planet! They use very soft foam which feels great when you first sit on them, but after riding on them they make a bundle selling you a better seat which is soft and cushy until they break down. I've rode for 55 years and every motorcycle I've owned had a better seat than Harley , to to keep momma riding with me I bought aftermarket seats, Danny Gray, Corbin, Mustang, Travelcade, and others I can't remember. But the best were corbin because he made then to fit your butt, weight etc. and the last one was a Travelcade that was called a "roadsofa" and it had firm foam and gel pads in it. It was on my Ultra Classic and it had a matching backrest for the trunk and a removable backrest for me. They said up front that it would take about 500 miles to break in. It felt hard as a picnic bench for the first few rides but then it got better and better. Momma love that seat our longest ride together was 10 1/2 hours and mine was 15 hours and didn't have any 'Monkey-Butt' . They are expensive but worth every penny. As for the fishing issue all I can suggest is take a small bar of soap with you like you get from hotels and wash your hands often, fish can smell everything you touched, so Ant vapes, same hold true for him ,wash your hands before rigging your poles, baiting your hooks, etc. and that should help some as does Fish Attractant + Baits, it's the smells that attract them, I prefer Pro Cure or some liquids and add a drop to my bait or lure and I have had great success.
Also check on what is going on at school. It could be he has not done some assignment or does not want to do it. He could be having some social issue on the bus or at school. He could just not want to be at school because his cousins are home and he wants to be home too. Children are masters at observing people and things around them and attempting to manipulate it. That is how they learn by testing the boundaries. You are fine and parenting for each child can be different. Some test boundaries all their lives and others just learn early to give you what they think you want and you will leave them alone.Raising children is the most difficult job in your life.
