The RK Binder personally has been my favourite one which I did purchase 4, more because I needed some binders and the rookies were solid picks. This one however ain’t hitting for me to splurge for, even though the art is banging, the actual Digimon of choice for them are not. Binder looks clean though.
Idk where you got the avg for the royal knights cards, but there are only 3 cards in that set around $4 and the rest are $9-25. Obviously the omnimon will be the most expensive, but the megas, rookies and the garurumon are really good and all needed an alt art except for omni. I’m sure this will be worth the $80. If I had excess money I’d buy 4 and sell the extras.
well considering the cards in the royal knight set that have value are the ones being played and the low end ones are the ones that are not in the meta. Gabumon can be used gabubond, garurumon, or omnimon Agumon can be used in agubond, greymon, or omnimon Huckmon is used in Jesmon as the best searcher Veemon can be used in magnamon and imperial Guilmon is a good aggro card for decks that like a red low end engine Dorumon can be used in alpha and dorugora Kudamon and dracmon dont really have a home as there are better cards to run and agumon while is more playable is in that camp more than gabumon. I am shocked gabumon is that high TBH as there are better cards being used for him and his decks. the fact that this is the floor is likely what the bulk $.1 cards will do as they are not good cards, have narrow usability, and the omnimon deck kinda is just not good means outside of the art they likely will not be highly valued making it a HUGE risk as the demand for these cards might be higher now but lower come February when these cards get delivered. This is just looking at this comparison. there are plenty of other bandai premium cards that have tanked and not help well but still hold something. it is just a trend i noticed looking at a lot of bandai premium stuff.
@@Xanitsu Premium Bandai products usually have a lot of value on release though. For instance, all the beelzemon cards for that binder were $50-100 for a couple of weeks and that decks wasn’t in the meta anymore when the set dropped. The royal knight set cards used to be way more expensive, but they recently have tanked a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever seen premium Bandai cards come out and not been able to flip the cards for double the value of the original item at least for a month or so after release. These promos aren’t the craziest, but the bt15 garurumon is really good and will probably get playing in every garurumon deck moving forward. Unfortunately the agumon and Gabumon bt17 are already getting other alt arts. The omnimon ace itself will most likely be at least $30 for a while. And the metalgaruru and the wargrey will probably be at least $10 each, if not more. But on release, these cards will be pretty inflated regardless.
I bought the second anniversary set, which was definitely a better value than this, but even that one hasn't held value long-term, so no more for me on these. This one looks awful.
80 for a bunch of rare and sr alt. I'll wait for singles sale.

If it came wkth 4 of each card id buy one, but having only 2 of each feels like a slap in the face, with the cards chosen especially.
I hope this flops super hard and people tryna sell it for super cheap so I can buy one for cheap and fill my BT17 Omni Deck with all the Alt Arts.
