My FW450 v2.5 came with a battery clip stock, same location as what you are modding. I’m surprised to see that yours did not.

Could not follow you. What does the ESC plate do? What does the battery tray do. Do you strap the battery to the battery tray and then it slides in and clips in place. You completely lost me?
