I sell a lot of items in my business that are only around three dollars. Who is going to pay way more for shipping for a three dollar item? Basically my business and my parents business would become unprofitable. Already for their business what they sell shipping is expensive but if they had to ship every time by a company like UPS or FedEx, nobody would buy their product.

The customers would come up to his postal vehicle and ask for their mail "imagine that". I think the man lost his contract. It will be the worst decision made in American history. The post office does keep their employees in line. I have seen employees go to jail for stealing. They do not send sexual offenders out to deliver mail that I know of. PO can spruce up some things. The system is really unique and you see if you have worked there. Some just make the PO look bad. I won't say who lol

The postal service is already self-funded and private in all but name. The issue is it billions of dollars in debt.
That "DEBT" is the requirement imposed by the GOP on the USPS ALONE. Of all the companies and non-profits in the world, ONLY THE USPS has to PAY IN THIS DECADE FOR ALL THE PENSIONS TO BE PAID FOR THE NEXT 75 YEARS!
It would be terrible if a stamp wasn't subsidized by the general population that doesn't use the postal service and if spam mail couldn't be sent at a fraction of the cost subsidized by the tax payer.
I'm sorry, y'all are over there sending letters for 50 cents? PROTECT IT
It'll cost 3-4 times more and the private company will still get more government subsidies than the post office gets now
Despising America more and more each day
DeJoyless. Greed personified.
This Postsl service that was the only service that was created by the founding fathers in the constitution
Ben Franklin was the first Postmaster general
The postal SERVICE will always be better than the postal business
I will never complain about the Postal service our USPS is something we should be proud of and demand it remain whole and strong. That means we get DeJoy out of there and fund it!
Let’s privatize Congress.🎉🎉
It kinda already is. Repeal Citizens United
GOP: government doesn’t work, elect me and I’ll prove it
Just look at the airline industry. Its a monopoly and the Govt just saves them from bankruptcy even though they buying back shared when in profit.
And increasing the fares, and reducing the seat sizes.
I worked as a letter carrier in an area of Texas small-town. There was a route that was contracted. It was a mess a young man would go out on the route and sit there and watch movies.
Postal service employees throwing mail in ballots in ditches I'd say the USPS doesn't have any place in we The People's election. The Democrats traffic children drugs might as well traffic mail-in ballots and use the United States postal service to do it and don't you dare say that it's not happening because I can prove otherwise.
They are prone to promote really bad eggs to toastmaster, though, and I’ve retired through it…🤨🙄
The post office is a complete disaster! It’s backwards and it runs completely by the seat of its pants!! The post office is an example of why you don’t want big government running anything!
The unions are spineless and the management is toxic!
We are being worked to the bone everyday and the pay is garbage and the unions allow us to be crushed with all of this nonsense
"employs more veterans" is not the positive point he thought it was.
It is if you care about veterans
End dejoy and the problems will solve themselves. Something could be done but one side drags their feet and the other are the ones screwing it all up.
It's a veterans social program
Amen! ✊
In what world 🌎 do we need the post office/services to be privatized...?!? 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Once private companies have control over the usps service they will start cutting rural areas to save costs.
Fire Louis DeJoy
Yeah, but USPS has opened every piece of holiday mail in my area looking for cash... so they suck anyway. They also randomly send my packages to other addresses. They told me they weren't a "service" over the phone when I asked them to release my package they were holding... telling me i can drive the 30 minutes to come get it, of course, on a work days when their hours run shorter than my work day. They hire criminals and they suck.
#POTUS Needs To Remove #LouisDeJoy
People complain about the post office, and yea it's not perfect, but who the hell else can deliver a letter 3000 miles for 68¢
Look what happen to the royal mail after they privatized. If anything we need to *nationalize* more industries.
When a company looses $$$every year they go outa biz why should postal service be any different???they loose millions not chump change
So True!💯💯💯💯
Preach!
Please do not allow privatize the post office
If we privatise the postal service we'll be paying $9.99 a month to get our mail in a few years
