Most of the stock footage is not from the Congo. Pine forests are not in the Congo. Lions do not live in the Congo rainforest. Even the African tribes here are not from the Congo. This video does not do the Congo rainforest justice.
You are mostly right but we have some lions in Congo and in some part in Gabon..Gabon and Congo share the same borders and although we have a lot of rainforest we also have savannah , We have some lions you can check it up. But they are not as many as Those leaving in East Africa , because there is more Savannah and less Rainforest.
@@YoungMesrine the only lions I have heard of in the Congo are Virunga, but that is the edge of the Congo rainforest where it meets the Savanna in the east. We work with a lot of people in Gabon, and have never seen any photos of lions there. And we plan to be in Gabon this fall. Do you know which park or state where there are lions in Gabon?
@@rainforest_eye There is a place in Gabon called the "Plateau Bateke" , in the state named "Haut Ogooué" it's Savannah with forest at some parts... Lions aren't many but some still moving back and forth from Gabon to Congo Brazza.
If you reach Gabon 🇬🇦 you will have better information there , I'm a Gabonese but I live in Ghana 🇬🇭. Just know that we have some lions in the savannah and even in the forest.
